Camera not Working in Windows 11 - (2024 NEW FIX)

After hours searching and following instructions from other videos from other RUclips channels, my camera problem hadn’t been fixed until this video with the additional last step by going to the manufacturer’s support website. The troubleshooting from the support website shows that my laptop is experiencing “a HP Secure Boot error after installing a cumulative Microsoft Security Update” so I have followed their recovery steps to get recovering from the Secure Boot Error then install the latest BIOS. My camera is finally working now. Thank you so much!

Trying to figure out what was wrong with my video I wasted hours following instructions like these. It turned out to be so simple and none of the Geek wizzards mentioned to look for it. My Leveno lap top has a function that turns the video on and off and it must have been in the off position.

I tried all the steps above but none of them worked for me. As for the last one, the option they suggested was installing Realtek PC Camera Driver.

There is what appears to be a Dell-specific camera issue (Camera App error code 0xA00F4244) that can't be fixed with this unluckily. Interestingly, while Window Hello works, the camera doesn't even appear when looking at the hardware in the troubleshooting window.

There is a small slider on the top of camera on laptop, open and seenif it works

@@sindhu_sivanya_15 there is no slider or button to turn off camera. even i have provided access to all apps ...i've even reset my laptop by removing every file, even then its not opening...its says your camera is blocked, try removing slider or turn on the switch to use it....there is no slider or switch or button ( like f8 to turn off camera) in my laptop lenovo loq 13irx9....it all started after i installed rdr2 from fitgirl repack

@@Alamin_38 Hey. I actually solved this problem by "restoring windows". You can find it in the settings. It basically resets Windows but keeps your files.
