Yes you right, Wanjo is overrated & agree you should try roadside stall nasi lemak, nasi lemak can be eaten in the morning, lunch or dinner.. Actually, that Sweet potato donut(Keria) is coating with coconut palm sugar but originally is coating with melted coarse sugar... Kuih/Kueh is a sweet & savoury snacks/cakes... 😊

The fork is to hold down your food and the spoon is to tear the meat off. Teh C is tea with Condensed milk. If you want just plain tea, you say" Teh O". If you don't want sugar in your tea, you just tell them" Teh O kosong". In the olden days, its usually eaten as breakfast but nowadays nasi lemak can be eaten anytime of the day. I think most of the workers there are migrant workers usually from Indonesia so they don't really understand English but if they were Malaysians they would be able to converse to you in English because English is a compulsory subject in school. Good example of Malaysian interaction with you guys are the kuih keria(sweet potato donut) sellers. You can see that they are quite fluent in English. FYI, its common for Malaysians to treat you food even if you are just asking.
Anybody from Wanjo reading the comments here? Wanjo need to do something now. There're lots of foreigners coming for Nasi Lemak, need to train English language to the Indonesian workers. By the way...the most traditional Nasi Lemak is just Sambal, had boil egg, peanuts and anchovies (might be optional). Rendang is best eat with Nasi Tomato not Nasi Lemak.
Why only in melaka nasi lemak is always served with kangkung in addition to bilis, timun and egg? 😂 I would recommend a fried egg instead of hard boiled egg for mat saleh as the latter is only eaten as a breakfast item in the west. Yes, they should have some English speaking staffs when there are foreign customers. These young staff don't even understand simple English 😢
That place was very famous amongst local once..i wouldnt dare say it is no longer is but to some extend the vibes is different now…Btw those boys that you talked to are not Malaysian..they most probably are Indonesian… because Malaysian with the least English will understand what you said…English is a compulsory subject in our schools.

Nasi lemak comes in 2 styles: 1. The prepacked basic coconut rice, anchovies, spicy sambal , 1/4 boiled egg , fried peanuts and cucumber and packed like a pyramid. 2. The heavier freestyle version where you get to pick additional dishes ie. Ayam/daging rendang, ayam goreng berempah ( spice fried fried) ,sotong (squid) in sambal, kerang (cockels ) in sambal, paru (beef lung) spiced fried , bergedil (a local version of friekedel , a meat and potato cutlet). The heavier meals version is eaten as complete main meal. The prepacked version is a quick breakfast or teatime, supper snack . The peanuts and anchovies adds the crunch factor in the combination when you mix it all. The sambal is mixed depending on how spicy you want your spoonful to be... Next time try the paru addition or the spice fried ayam berempah. Welcome to Malaysia 🇲🇾 😊

When i came to Malaysia so many locals told me nasi lemak is for breakfast and laughed when i said i want nasi lemak fir supper. I honestly didn't understand the "restriction" and now 1 year later i see full blood Malaysians selling nasi lemak in the evening.. in the end you can do whatever you want, no matter what people say.
I agree! Nasi Lemak is a bit too much for me in the mornings...I much prefer it later on in the day! You are right, there is no one way to do things :)
12:13 The name of the red drink is _sirap limau._ -_Sirap_ is rose syrup flavoured drink. -_Limau_ is lime or lime juice. You can order _sirap ais_ as is (it's a sweet drink), or you can order as the customer did, _sirap limau ais._ The tang of the lime juice brings freshness to the drink especially when you are vlogging during hot day. Another popular drinks with lime in it are of course, limau ais (iced lime juice) and _teh 'o ais limau_ (iced lime tea). I recommend the last one since I'm not much of a fan for sweet drinks. And don't forget to say _ikat tepi_ if you're ordering to go.
Malay Kueh2, like a snack for afternoon tea break. Typical during family gathering then they will make alots of malay traditional kueh. You must try: Kueh Ondeh2, Kueh Gendang Kasturi, Kueh Kochi ( wrap with banana leaf ), Kueh Talam Ubi or Talam Keladi ( tapioca or yam ). In month of Rahmadan you find alot of Kueh2 in the Ramadan Bazaar.
Nasi Lemak is usually eaten for breakfast (usually sold from roadside stalls) but you can have it anytime. Try the one at McDonald's for it's novelty 😊
Teh ais = Tea + condense milk + ice Teh O ais = Tea + sugar + ice Teh kosong ais = Just plain tea without sugar + ice You should try milo ais (malaysian chocolate drink) as well because our milo is different from Australia milo... You can find classic nasi lemak on the street stall not in restaurants... Pack in triangle shape with banana leaf... Please visit Penang next... Penang is food heaven...
Don't mixed all the sauce if u don't want too spicy haha.. Sometimes if u mixed all the sambal it won't taste good.. Just go with small portion of sambal 1st..
Wow, it looks so delicious. even though I'm from here, I've never tasted it before.. must go and try it tomorrow. Thank you guys for the kueh review ( pandan+coconut) ❤
The authentic way for malaysian to eat nasi lemak is how it is wrapped for take away. That is in banana leaf and then wrap again with old newspaper cutting. A simple pack will cost you around rm1.00-1.50. For me personally every nasi lemak is different, especially the sambal. Most of the times the level of spicyness is 2-3 (on a scale of 10) but in some areas it could be 4 or even 6. I will get a little bit of sambal taste first before deciding what portion size of sambal per each spoon I could take. Normally I let the mixing to take place in my mouth. Meaning I will pick everything (not mixed), put it together and one scoop will go in. But hey, no worries there is no wrong or right there. Nobody will judge you. Its just rather up to the personal preferences. And fyi there is a place in KL known as Ulu Klang and the locals often joked around saying they are from UK.
Jay you are like Steve from Jetlag Warriors 😂 also not a fan of fish but he's slowly training up to get used to fish already. The power of Malaysia food. Enjoy your Malaysia food journey. Try out also Malaysian Chinese and Malaysian Indian food too
As a local and have eaten there, definitely there are better nasi lemak out there then wanjo.. Suggest u get the bergedil, fried chicken, beef rendang those are local go to sides for nasi lemak
Nasi lemak wanjo actually good for 1st timer. To at least enjoy eating before trying more nasi lemak. You can have 100 different kick of nasi lemak taste according to whom is the chef.. Majority of worker at wanjo not really good in english and very shy. They are normal worker. And employed so they can have work. If you go somewhere else, most of the time, the owner and family members is the one who also serving the food so you can enjoy having a good conversation with them. They run smaller stall. Wanjo quite big so only worker run them on the operation floor. Like mcd/kfc.. After you taste wanjo then you can try nasi lemak tanglin near national mosque and next nasi lemak in bangsar village.. And more. Remember when visit other state then the taste again change. Thats the beauty of malaysian food. Ipoh, penang, kedah, johor, etc has their own taste
It's true that the initial encounter with a dish can leave a lasting impression. Many other stalls are family-run, which allows for a more personal interaction with the owners while enjoying your meal which I think we enjoy the most! It's great to know that each region in Malaysia has its own distinct taste, and exploring the different states will open up a whole new world of flavours for us!
@@JayandKarolina really enjoy your food vlogs. Cant wait for next one.. + if u like ikan bakar(grilled fish). One of the best place to visit is ikan bakar jalan bellamy , near old king palace.. Its not far.. And before visit, watch some ikan bakar vlogs so you can enjoy the most handsome feeling eating ikan bakar handfully
Yes you have to mixed the sambal with sambal than you start to eat. The beef and the chicken rendang and all the ingridient such as egg and cucumber is the side dish for nasi lemak.
Yup Nasi Lemak Wanjo is a little bit overrated, it's not ideal if a first timer wants to try Nasi Lemak. It's more like Nasi Lemak Berlauk which is a mix from different dish put into Nasi Lemak. Classic Nasi Lemak contains: *Coconut Rice *Sambal *Anchovies *Cucumber *Peanuts *Boiled egg/fried egg/Telur dadar(Omelette) *Fried fish *Fried chicken Between eggs, fish or chicken you can choose which one you prefer. You also can get Nasi Lemak on different kinds of style which is *Restaurant Nasi Lemak (Some restaurant sold it in the morning) *Nasi lemak berlauk (like from Nasi Lemak Wanjo) *Nasi lemak from morning stalls (you can get it from many areas in Malaysia around 6am-11am) *Nasi Lemak from fast foods restaurant (from McDonald's and KFC)
you can eat it anytime. but cos u can add whatever u want really so...typically in the morning you can have it lighter without the spicy stuff some add fried chicken cos fried chicken. noon u can go heavier and add chicken curry, rendang, etc and night also can go more. some add veges some add others. Chinese and indian may cook it a little different too in terms of dishes that it goes along with. there is not right or wrong just preference and typically u eat it as u feel right. u can eat wihotu mixing n just put what u like on the spoon and eat it. some though like it a mess and mix it all the way. no right or wrong
There is another way of mixing. Take bits of everything into 1 spoonful. Hence why we feed using spoon. It holds any rice-based food better. No need to mix all in the plate beforehand.
The word KUIH comes from the Hokkien Kuey... i would describe as small finger food either sweet, bland or spicy... eaten at breakfast or for afternoon tea... Nyonya Kuih includes cut desserts steamed in a tray....
One franchise that i recommend you to try is Bungkus kaw kaw… they can be found in many malls… their nasi lemak and kopi are my favourite and very decent
The original nasi lemak only with cucumber, peanuts, hard boild egg, anchovies or fish (certain type only).. While ayam, beef rendang etc only u want extra.. Bcoz if u go for breakfast, we go for light nasi lemak.. U want heavy go for the extra 😆😆
Waaaaahhh i craving for nasi lemak.. My opinion : Next time u guys can ask from another cutomer. Dont hesitate to ask.. Bcos some staff are not fluent in English.. Enjoy ur time in Malaysia..
Next time you can consider 'Village Park' , to be honest it is also a little tourist attraction, but I think you will get more people to help you there as it is urban area with classic serving. Celebrities and even Malaysia King's dine there
I am a local Malay and personally I love Nasi Lemak Ujang Corner in Greenwood compared to Nasi Lemak Wanjo.Nasi lemak Ujang's customers are usually locals and so far only one youtube channel made a video about it. Wanjo for me is too commercialize. Give it a try..Please check on the opening hours first before going there ..
Your choice of Nasi Lemak is perfect. Only two dish. Beef Rendang, boil egg or fried egg and typical small fried fish as well peanut. This is perfect inly missing is fried lever or paru goreng. Continue enjoying malay food, for sure you will love this authentic food. 😂
Hi. There is no specific way to eat nasi lemak. You can eat it any way you like. I won't mix everything together because if the sambal is very spicy and you don't have enough plain rice to ease the spiciness, then you are doom😂😂😂😂😂😂
I would always have hot tea myself. You should try the 'teh tarik' (pulled tea), where they pour the tea from a height to create a froth. You can also get ginger added: 'teh halia' (maybe a little like 'masala chai' which you should know from Jay's Indian heritage).
We have already tried Teh Tarik and and it's a well-balanced drink! Need to go for Teh Halia next time because I have a felling we're going to love that!
Hi.. Keta dan Fiance Caroline.. how are both of you..? Where now still in Malaysia or has gone to Indonesia.. Great to know that you both love the Malaysian Cuisine like, Nasi Lemak, Nasi Dagang, Nasi Keta u, as well the " kueh".. pisang goreng, jackfruit goreng etc..
Hey guys. I loved your contents so far. I would recommend Village Park. It’s an authentic famous Malaysian restaurant based in Damansara uptown. You guys have to try their nasi lemak ayam goreng. Apparently their nasi lemak ayam goreng is amazing and it that place is known for that.
How about trying McDonald's Nasi Lemak? Try something different from the McDonald's menu that you haven't seen before. You also can try KFC which also have Nasi Lemak.
The classic is just plain rice... but to add on many eat chicken rendang, to go more2 😅 eat paru or beef lungs... all those toppings are traditional... that's why the girl became confused... she says she is from ulu klang... also known as UK to locals... 😅
I'm Malaysian and was so looking forward to my first Nasi Lemak Wanjo, as it has been promoted like crazy. Sadly, it was very underwhelming for me... there's definitely much better nasi lemak elsewhere, and you're right... some of the best can be had from just a normal roadside stall.
A lot of the staff is Indonesian, so they might have difficulty with English. Malaysians, especially the younger ones, generally understand English well because we have to learn it in school. While most Malaysians can understand English, some might struggle a bit when it comes to speaking it. It's worth noting that understanding and speaking are two separate skills.
Done!, watching all your Malaysia videos, you guys look so Honest especially about WANJO ( overacted & very touristic, I'm local & agreed on this ). Most of the employees in there is NOT MALAYSIAN actually. they don't have that ORIGINAL Malaysian welcoming vibe to outsider.
Anchovies = ikan bilis. The only food you mix is nasi kerabu. You eat the cucumber at the end of the meal in order to get rid of the spicy taste on your tongue.
Mix all Not mean mix all of them. But Mix it (rice) with the gravy part by part 1st. Then take the other piece which u like together before scoop it to your mouth. The main is mix the gravy 1st.... that's what we mean mix all.
Yes we do haha but to be honest we would very much prefer to have it without the meat in the morning 😂 That’s what we did later on and had some peanuts as well!
nasi lemak classic should have boiled egg, anchovies, peanut, cucumber and sambal...u guys should have peanut as well so it taste much more more better
Hey Jay, just as a precaution, do be careful of snatch thieves on motorbikes. Try to pay attention to your surroundings just in case someone tries to snatch your camera or bag when you’re walking along the road.
Never been there before but i have tried nasi lemak antarabangsa & jln tanglin. Btw, i am not really a fan of established nasi lemak outlets. I prefer low profiled sellers on the roadside because they are way better.😁

Try village park nasi lemak in Damansara bro. The ayam goreng (fried chicken) is to die forr!!!
Ohhh, the way how you described it makes us super hungry!!!
12:13 The name of the red drink is _sirap limau._
-_Sirap_ is rose syrup flavoured drink.
Thank you so much for all those instructions! It helps a lot! I like sweet drinks on hot days so I might try the sirap limau ais next time 😎👌
Malay Kueh2, like a snack for afternoon tea break.
That's such a nice sweet to share on those family occasions! Thanks for the tips!
Nasi Lemak is usually eaten for breakfast (usually sold from roadside stalls) but you can have it anytime. Try the one at McDonald's for it's novelty 😊
That was our plan indeed haha, looks yummy!
Teh ais = Tea + condense milk + ice
Teh O ais = Tea + sugar + ice
Teh kosong ais = Just plain tea without sugar + ice
You should try milo ais (malaysian chocolate drink) as well because our milo is different from Australia milo...
You can find classic nasi lemak on the street stall not in restaurants... Pack in triangle shape with banana leaf...
Please visit Penang next... Penang is food heaven...
Thanks! I love MILO ❤️
The street food Nasi Lemak is going to be our next option for sure!
PS stay tuned! Penang is on our list!
Most nasi lemak sambal are spicy, Malaysian people love hot & spicy foods, but as for the foreigner sometime they made it less spicy or mild.
@@keangwooichoo6138their sambal has always been sweet as far as i remember, hence i am not a fan of their sambal
Wanjo sambal is for tourists. Local wont repeat after 1st try.
Great to know that we could have sensed the taste was not super authentic!
Gosh, that look absolutely scrumptious 🤤
That looks delicious 😋😋
There is no trying there's only eating. Yum 😋!
1st impression of nasi lemak is always my favourite….tq for ur compliments❤❤❤❤
Don't mixed all the sauce if u don't want too spicy haha.. Sometimes if u mixed all the sambal it won't taste good.. Just go with small portion of sambal 1st..
Noted!
Wow, it looks so delicious. even though I'm from here, I've never tasted it before.. must go and try it tomorrow. Thank you guys for the kueh review ( pandan+coconut) ❤
Our pleasure! Hope you enjoy it as much as we did!
It's amazing how how literally everyone can create their own unique taste depending on the amount of one ingredient, which is sambal!
Jay you are like Steve from Jetlag Warriors 😂 also not a fan of fish but he's slowly training up to get used to fish already. The power of Malaysia food. Enjoy your Malaysia food journey.
Try out also Malaysian Chinese and Malaysian Indian food too
🤭 We will try more dishes for sure! All kind of cuisines bring the amazing diversity!
As a local and have eaten there, definitely there are better nasi lemak out there then wanjo.. Suggest u get the bergedil, fried chicken, beef rendang those are local go to sides for nasi lemak
Need to try the other options too then! It would be 100% more authentic - and that's exactly what we're looking for 😬
Nasi lemak wanjo actually good for 1st timer.
Nasi lemak is originally a breakfast food but now its eaten all day n nites..
Maybe next time then! Thanks!
Yes you have to mixed the sambal with sambal than you start to eat. The beef and the chicken rendang and all the ingridient such as egg and cucumber is the side dish for nasi lemak.
Thanks for the tips!
HAHAHA the lady is from UK too (aka Ulu Kelang) 😂
Jay didnt get her joke😂
😂
To Wanjo boss, please send your staff for english classes....
😊😊😊
They are mostly foreigners😢
That food looks delicious 😋😋 love your Malaysia series ❤❤
Yay! Thank you!
Next try Nasi Lemak at Village Park
Yup Nasi Lemak Wanjo is a little bit overrated, it's not ideal if a first timer wants to try Nasi Lemak. It's more like Nasi Lemak Berlauk which is a mix from different dish put into Nasi Lemak.
Classic Nasi Lemak contains:
*Coconut Rice
*Sambal
*Anchovies
*Cucumber
*Peanuts
*Boiled egg/fried egg/Telur dadar(Omelette)
*Fried fish
*Fried chicken
Between eggs, fish or chicken you can choose which one you prefer. You also can get Nasi Lemak on different kinds of style which is
*Restaurant Nasi Lemak (Some restaurant sold it in the morning)
*Nasi lemak berlauk (like from Nasi Lemak Wanjo)
*Nasi lemak from morning stalls (you can get it from many areas in Malaysia around 6am-11am)
*Nasi Lemak from fast foods restaurant (from McDonald's and KFC)
😍 So many options there is! We need to try it next time with peanuts for sure!
you can eat it anytime. but cos u can add whatever u want really so...typically in the morning you can have it lighter without the spicy stuff some add fried chicken cos fried chicken. noon u can go heavier and add chicken curry, rendang, etc and night also can go more. some add veges some add others.
Yeah I like this approach! I could eat nasi lemak lighter style in the morning and then heavier during the day and evening 👍
I love malaysia❤
We too!
There is another way of mixing. Take bits of everything into 1 spoonful. Hence why we feed using spoon. It holds any rice-based food better. No need to mix all in the plate beforehand.
Now we know 😅 Thanks!
Nasi lemak you can have during breakfast, lunch, dinner and supper in Malaysia! Lol😂😂
Good to know!
The word KUIH comes from the Hokkien Kuey... i would describe as small finger food either sweet, bland or spicy... eaten at breakfast or for afternoon tea... Nyonya Kuih includes cut desserts steamed in a tray....
Thanks for sharing! It’s really helpful 😌
One franchise that i recommend you to try is Bungkus kaw kaw… they can be found in many malls… their nasi lemak and kopi are my favourite and very decent
Good to know! Thanks!
Thanks for the tips!
I thought so that the basic version is without the meat! [Karolina]
Just across the road of wanjo has a nice beriani place, beriani bp, recommend their lamb shank
The classics only have eggs either boiled or fried, sambal, rice, anchovies, peanut and many slice of cucumber
Welcome 🤗
This channel is amazing Jay! I love the cringe factor.
What’s the cringe factor? 😂
Waaaaahhh i craving for nasi lemak.. My opinion : Next time u guys can ask from another cutomer. Dont hesitate to ask.. Bcos some staff are not fluent in English.. Enjoy ur time in Malaysia..
Good advice!
It sounds really good form the way you're describing the place!
@@JayandKarolina Sure is..
Yes, you are right!
Hi. There is no specific way to eat nasi lemak. You can eat it any way you like. I won't mix everything together because if the sambal is very spicy and you don't have enough plain rice to ease the spiciness, then you are doom😂😂😂😂😂😂
Thanks for sharing!! I won't do that mistake next time for sure 😂
The classic one is just the basic (rice, sambal, anchovies, peanut, cucumber and boiled egg)
@@JayandKarolina Great. Looking forward to that!
Hello! We’re doing well 😌 Thank you for asking! From the things you’ve mentioned we are only missing on Nasi Keta!
Hey guys. I loved your contents so far. I would recommend Village Park. It’s an authentic famous Malaysian restaurant based in Damansara uptown. You guys have to try their nasi lemak ayam goreng. Apparently their nasi lemak ayam goreng is amazing and it that place is known for that.
Noted! We need to do that next time then as we’re setting off now to Cameron Highlands!
Thanks for the recommendation 🙏🏽
Definitely mix the sambal with the rice before consuming. We have NL for anytime of the day from
Breakfast to supper 😂
Great tip!
Original nasi lemak consists of rice , sambal , egg , anchovies , cucumber and a choice of fried fish or fried chicken .
Kopi o iced kosong satu...ikat tepi...
Baik boss....
Ikat tepi means tie at the edge which is associated when we puchase take away drink
Yes! We really like the portable pouches for drinks haha
WOW Nasi lemak
How about trying McDonald's Nasi Lemak? Try something different from the McDonald's menu that you haven't seen before. You also can try KFC which also have Nasi Lemak.
You don't have to repeat it twice 😬 I'm a KFC lover!
Ideally, the nasi should be mixed together with the sambal gravy to get its full taste.
Wanjo to me is catered toward the KLites and tourists... there are so many more other nasi lemaks that people swear by...❤
The classic is just plain rice... but to add on many eat chicken rendang, to go more2 😅 eat paru or beef lungs... all those toppings are traditional... that's why the girl became confused... she says she is from ulu klang... also known as UK to locals... 😅
Yeah, now we know! All the ingredients make a nice combination though!
This is exactly what we’ve felt 😩
A lot of the staff is Indonesian, so they might have difficulty with English. Malaysians, especially the younger ones, generally understand English well because we have to learn it in school. While most Malaysians can understand English, some might struggle a bit when it comes to speaking it. It's worth noting that understanding and speaking are two separate skills.
Thanks for sharing! It was the very first time indeed when the staff in Malaysia wasn’t speaking English 😉
Thanks!!! We're enjoying being ourselves and giving the genuine opinions! It's hard though when you're trying something for the first time 🤭
Anchovies = ikan bilis. The only food you mix is nasi kerabu. You eat the cucumber at the end of the meal in order to get rid of the spicy taste on your tongue.
Now we know 😌 Thanks!
Mix all Not mean mix all of them. But Mix it (rice) with the gravy part by part 1st. Then take the other piece which u like together before scoop it to your mouth. The main is mix the gravy 1st.... that's what we mean mix all.
So detailed instruction! Thank you so much!
Woww.. Nice vlog..
😂Nasi Lemak 👍delicious, 😋😋
The Malaysian inside joke.. when they said they from UK then replies it with Ulu Klang..
Hahaha, never heard of it before!
Nasi Lemak is ideally eaten for breakfast but minus the chicken & beef rendang😅😅.But you guys do you!😊
Yes we do haha but to be honest we would very much prefer to have it without the meat in the morning 😂 That’s what we did later on and had some peanuts as well!
Hai u can go to Nurul kitchen at cowkit monorail classic nasi lemak wraping with banana leaf and ikan bakar bbq fish
Sounds great!
ikat is tie...tepi is side...so it means side tie...so u cn drink it wth a straw...while carrying it...
Makes sense!
Sir, the toppings not required if u want original.. Not mandatory to have them..
Now we know! Thanks!
Kueh translated is cake...sweet cake...
Tangling nasi lemak is best..
Oh, never heard of it! Why is it so special?
more authentic...reasonably priced...its been there for ages...very original!!!!
Why no anchovies? It is not the anchovies you are familiar with/ that is available in the UK, you should try it 😅😅
I will next time! Karolina has convinced me 😬
@JayeshChhaya try Nasi Lemak Tanglin, I think it is better!
nasi lemak classic should have boiled egg, anchovies, peanut, cucumber and sambal...u guys should have peanut as well so it taste much more more better
We had Nasi Lemak the other day with peanuts and indeed it does taste 100% better! 😋
That was a Malay joke "I'm from UK (Ulu Klang)" or New Castle (Kota Baru).
Why you don’t give your anchovies to Carolina?
Good point! Haha
@@JayandKarolina Forgot to mention...We love watching your videos! Keep up the good works!
Are you a food or travel vlogger?
Both! When you travel you eat a lot 😬
Hey Jay, just as a precaution, do be careful of snatch thieves on motorbikes. Try to pay attention to your surroundings just in case someone tries to snatch your camera or bag when you’re walking along the road.
Oh, thank you for caring!
Never been there before but i have tried nasi lemak antarabangsa & jln tanglin. Btw, i am not really a fan of established nasi lemak outlets. I prefer low profiled sellers on the roadside because they are way better.😁
We believe so that the taste will be so much more authentic from the local sellers too!
you are free to eat nasi lemak using your own way..there is no procedure you need to follow..that's what I know because my mother is malaysian from penang
Mums do always know the best!
@@JayandKarolina don't mess with asian moms because you will be punished on the spot😁I haven't eaten nasi lemak for almost 2 years because I don't live in Malaysia..maybe at the end of this year we will visit Malaysia..
u mix only if u hv the sambal together with the anchovies and peanuts (if itcomes with pnuts) ONLY,,, not the chicken
Noted!
2:15 She said Ulu Klang (in short UK), it's one of the township in Selangor state.. our apologies for the inside joke! 😂
😂😂 We're hearing this joke quite often now but that time it was very first time and we were a bit confused haha
all maly kueh is for afternoon teas or coffee...
