- 🦋 Hi guys! Over the past couple of months I have been trying to restyle my home and my closet was definitely high on the list. The space was not functional and it turned into a dumping ground for everything. So today I’m going to completely declutter (konmari style) and DIY my PINTEREST DREAM Closet. I incorporated my CB2 Bookcase that I DIYed in last week’s video into this closet makeover. I hope you guys enjoy! 🦋

You did great. My only suggestion is that you change the coat hangars to the velvet ones, all identical.

My closet is exactly like her size closet.look at my idea for shoe shelf.i put mine at one end only and the center has my jewelry. The other end has shelves for clothing or purses

I just transformed my closet to a shoe closet. I used an old shelf that had predrilled holes for shelves and just put the shelves across it width of the closet no nails the shelves hold it in place.and I made the shelf space fitted for shoes.it holds 20 pairs shoes.

Oh I needed this my closet looks really bad 🤭. You who's idea was this they need to get fired 😆 that's so me just to find out afterwards how to do it 😅. Love your energy

Like the set up now you need matching hangers it completes the look
That was pretty clever. A little thrown off that you didn’t get hangers that are all one color. Matching hangers really adds the finishing touch.
I agree! I’m still trying to find a hanger size that I like.
Thanks for the tip on removing those wall brackets! I was wondering how you would do them. I’ve done it before and it was a complete nightmare!

You should buy matching hangers to make it look more put together.
I agree!! I am still searching for the right size hangers. I want them to be shorter than normal so that you can’t see my clothes on the left hand side. For now I changed them to the white plastic ones but I definitely want to change them in the future!

My piece of advice, i would make the brace or the legs with wood instead of metal. It would make the whole process a lot easier in my opinion.

I store those in my dresser! I have a really large dresser in my room that stores everything that couldn’t fit in my closet.

It would be great to just removing the wall and frame build one wide to be able to get in and see everything easy i dont know why builders make closets with narrow doors

How far apart are the hanging bars in the sides of the closet?
They are about 25 inches apart and my shelves are 27 inches wide

I really don't understand how this makeover is practical...I mean, the clothes on the side, the space is so tiny, I don't even understand how you grab a piece of clothes in the back of the closet with this shelf in the middle?
