Lovely vlog, love the parts about choosing all the colours and stone for the house (Zimi is so cute at this part!). I remember we went for an off-white as well and it looked much lighter than expected - definitely try them all on the building!

Do you put humidifier steam om for Zimi? Helps babies cough less.

Hey ellie, how long did it take for Zimi to get used to being resettled instead of feeding ? Like how many minutes does the resettle take overnight ? I’m wanting to do the same with my 7 MO baby (his down to one feed after 1am but wanting to eliminate ..? is it harder to resettle overnight or easier then the day time ? Been putting it off cause I wasn’t sure if his genuinely hungry or if it’s just a habit wake
Hmm I think maybe 2 nights! The biggest thing we did was make sure she’s having enough in the day. Because she’s formula + breast it made it easier because we can kinda measure most of it. But she was only having 3 bottles in the day + a little breast feed 2x and some food, but now we try to push 4 bottles + breast + food so we know she’s definitely getting the calories in the day and shouldn’t be hungry overnight. Now she wakes and just needs a dummy to resettle and it’s much quicker 🥰 just need to eliminate the dummy next haha

That sounds like a good way to approach it.. my son is combo feed too as of like a month ago so I know his getting 4 bottles throughout the day (200mls per bottle), 1 sometimes 2 breast feeds over night (have done partial weaning because I wasn’t ready to drop breastfeeding completely) and He also eats two solid meals per day and he is a good eater so I reckon his getting enough. instead of breastfeeding him around 1am I’ll change that to last feed before bed as a top up for peace of mind :) stresses me out hearing him crying hysterically but I will give it a go for a couple of days and see if his ready. Good luck with eliminating the dummy , I was lucky there my son started refusing the dummy at 5 -1/2 months all on his own thank god lol Thank you xx

Yes it is! 🙌🏼 yeah she still does 1-2 times a day. It’s been a very different experience to Bowie. A few factors really decreased my supply this time around. I had 2 surgeries in the past 6 months, and a 30th, plus I went back to work a lot sooner, and my pump broke for a few days, I struggled to keep up pumping when I was away from her and my supply just started dropping from 5 months 😭
