    I forgot that minions gained Quickstrike for most of this game, and I made some terribly inefficient plays! This video was also supposed to have a short Wolverine game at the end but it was a NIGHTMARE trying to get it rendered. So that portion of the video will come out tomorrow!

    I’ve been thinking about this kind of thing. Thanks for making and sharing!

    Really like those mod set combinations, both in theme and mechanics. I did Expert The Hood invovling those few time ago. It was a blast. I think I'm gonna try your custom villain setup, it seems pretty challenging! Good game!
    PS: Carol is amazing :p

      @@alberttaco3668 thanks! I hate that I got a loss, but Wolverine crushes it in tomorrow's video LOL

    That's an amazing idea, the legacy thing. How do you print the cards? What do you use, regular paper?

      Thanks! Just print the PDF at 100% scale in color (or gray-scale if you want to save ink) on regular paper, gloss paper, cardstock, or whatever you have available! I printed my prototypes on cardstock for the rigidity in grays-scale so I could take notes directly on them with red ink.

    Oh no it looks like you didn't do the Surge from Bandolier of Stakes! But there's a lot going on with Bandolier of Stakes (and a lot going on in any game of MC in general) so it's understandable.

      @waltercardcollector you're right I didn't. I noticed that the morning the video went live and hoped nobody else did EDIT: To clarify (because I replied before I had my coffee) that means I didn't notice during play, the three or four times I should have seen it in editing, or the post-render view before uploading. At that point I was like "Well I missed it five times, maybe if I don't mention it no-one else will notice either" LOL.

    How do you rate this mode, difficulty wise?

    • @solomarvelchampion
      @solomarvelchampion  Месяц назад +1

      The last addition I made before "publishing" Legacy a few weeks ago was adding Retaliate 1 to the Focused side of *The Villain because I didn't think the mode was inherently difficult. I think it mostly depends on which minion you choose, because they and the mod set they come from are part of the encounter deck. Brothers Grimm was pretty difficult because it chews threw the encounter deck pretty quickly. On top of that, the mod sets you choose can alter difficulty quite a bit. Brothers Grimm with Masters of Evil, Dark Riders and any other mod set which chews through the deck can be really difficult because several cards have a "discard from the encounter deck until..." effect.
      So I think the real answer is, it's as difficult as you choose to make it. Adding sets that ramp up the pressure make it more difficult to remove counters from the Recruitment Camp, so in this game I was overwhelmed by "the recruits" when the main schemed out because I wasn't able to make attacks to keep them down.
      To be honest tough, I was more concerned about a way to turn a minion into a villain than I was about making it difficult. It was mostly just a fun exercise to see how that could be accomplished lol.
