Boomguy's MagneTOUGH Deck: marvelcdb.com/decklist/view/44066 After recording this I learned that Magnetic Pull is not "resolved" if a Magnetic card wasn't discarded, which I should have grim-ruled during play anyway! So when you get to that part just know that I know I was wrong LOL. I'm also unsure if I was doing Legion's healing-timing correctly...
@WinningHandPodcast much appreciated! I already have and have given my 5% discount on nothing! In tomorrow's video I say at the end that if you sub to Winning Hand I'm sure they'll give you 100% off of your free sub LOL
It’s great to see people playing my deck!! Does this mean I’ve finally made it??? 🎉 Jk, great video and thanks for playing it! You’re right: I don’t flip down as much as some people, and this deck was designed to never have to heal! Also it’s pronounced “MagneTOUGH”
@@WinningHandPodcast thanks! Yeah I just remember you telling Villain you don't flip down much lol. Even without the need to Revover though I like to flip down with Magneto to use his Survivor ability.
Really cool to see MagneTOUGH shown off! Also, I appreciate the debrief commentary on the match-up. It’s cool to hear the villain analysis and hero reaction
@@mcandyr thanks! A lot of the time I'll say "I like this matchup" without really telling WHY I like it, so I'm going to do better at that going forward. I like "debrief", so I might call that timestamp "matchup debrief" in the future!
I know i questioned the magnetic pull resolve function while playing, but knowing this game is super literal in the cards I've managed to follow it correctly. It's become a problem when I play simpler games, I get to literal with what a card says lol
@@WinningHandPodcast thanks! I thought so, but I've gotten into a bad habit of placing my consequential damage as I'm making the attack or thwart rather than afterwards. I need to get better at that lol

Cool deck…I wish I had all those hero packs and expansions. I love protection already. This is just cool.

Fyi, they have ruled that if you don't get the card, you haven't resolved the ability.
@@NolanTrapp yep, I mentioned that in my pinned comment!

BTW your timing is correct in Legion. Consequential damage is always the last step.

Unus is one of my favorite scenarios, except when I am playing leadership 🤦♂️ I have made that mistake.
@@prufrock1977 I like Unus a lot too. He's not overly difficult but still presents some challenge.
@ Same. I thought he was a breeze until I tested a leadership deck against him, and then I was like, “oops!”
