In 2003, I was eating lunch at a diner in Cambridge, MA and, to my amazement, Tim walked passed me. I quickly got the check and caught up with him in a nearby bookstore. He was very cool. We chatted a bit about Afghanistan as his brother had just been deployed there. They were playing a sold out show that evening at Avalon in Boston. As I didn’t have a ticket, he offered to put me on the guest list. He wrote my name down but when I got to the venue, I was not on the list. As fate would have it, though, someone had a spare ticket and so I got in. Tim is a living legend for just what he has done with Rancid, but of course his contributions go far beyond Rancid. The Tim Timebomb releases - 100 songs in a 100 days or something - are phenomenal for their breadth and quality. Thanks so much @Tome for putting this together. It’s a worthy tribute for a peerless American musician.
Some one needed to make these videos. Thanks my dude for being the guy that did it. The hard work it must have took to make this shows. Happy new year!
Does anybody have a bead on what happened to Brett Reed? From what I could tell he was the most punk out of all the guys but that's one narrative. Apparently he hated the pop sensibilities that the band was adopting. Any news would be greatly appreciated.
I hear ya. I guess no one really knows. I heard somewhere that he's living a secluded life. Heck that's how I live too and I never amounted the money or fame that he did. I guess he just wanted to live in peace and tranquility and I don't blame him. Way better drummer than the one who replaced him. Just my opinion.
I didnt mind this, but... The audio is all over the place. The mix of poor quality live recordings and better live recordings is very difficult to listen to, also the different levels od audio. Then the commentary sounds like it was done in a public toilet with a painful ecco. But if the audio was balanced with volume and quality it would have been fairly good. Please take this as feedback to help make your videos better and not as a personal criticism as i hope this helps.

Same.
I was just entering college when the Timebomb releases came out. I'd just be plugged in listening to them in the evenings wanting to form a band

Everything you typed here shows you did mind it. It's about a punk and his punk bands. No real punk gives a crap about the sound quality of the music.
tim is artist . briliant
Impressive!! Let’s be friends?
