Just an FYI you need to order the 2280 heatsink to actually install the 2280. You cant close the close moving the stock 2230 heat sink.
Would have been wise to first install the 2nd nvme in the empty slot available, cold boot to usb stick and clone the 512 nvme to the added nvme drive, then turn off the computer and swap both nvme's physical location on the board, reboot and voila' OS is transferred and you can now format the 512 to use for extra storage. There's no need to reinstall Windows and all your programs because they're alrerady there.
How do you clone? I tried a program and it did not work.

Hi bro I have one doubt SSD no 1 have mounting bracket and heat sink so can I fix SSD without mounting bracket and only fix with heat sink then I can use that mounting bracket for SSD 2

I have a G15 5520 model with a single SSD slot. Can I fit a single sided 4TB M.2 inside the machine? Dell says it only supports 2TB max, however this is due to most M.2 SSD's having double sided flash chips when they are bigger than 2TB? I'm looking at the Crucial P3 M.2 2280 4TB to replace in my machine
Did you figure it out? I have a similar problem. I have two SSD slots on my G15 5515, the first slot supposedly supports up to 1TB, the second slot supports up to 2TB. I dont wanna buy a 4TB and end up not working.
@@lucatoni98 I sure did! Got a Crucial P3 4TB M.2 SSD inside the machine and it works fine. I have the G15 5520 which only has one M.2 Slot.
You need to find a single sided M.2 SSD stick due to the physical spacing inside the machine.

@@Amityadavfr I dont have the 5520. I have the 5515 Ryzen 7 and yes I dont have any problems with it after a year of owning it. I like it cause it has 2 SSD slots.
Right now Best Buy has the 5530 RTX 4050 i7 1TB SSD for only 900 US dollars. I would buy that one if I was in the market for one right now.

yo i’m tryna like push it out and it’s like not budging, was it supposed to come out that easy like in the video?
@@shaqolaaan yeah it was a pain in the ass, but i used a screwdriver to push it out (dont try this as it can damage your laptop permanently) and it worked (right as it cut my finger open)
