If you need a pothole in front of your house filled in, call your city Street Department (most cities and towns have one). And in case you missed it, there is a recently implemented program for infrastructure replacement that is a DOT project, but such complex repair and replace projects can take time, as evidence by the fact that a Trump administration found infrastructure replacement too problematic to even attempt. Many such projects have been initiated by the Biden administration and the DOT, with some already completed, such as the I-95 bridge replacement in Pennsylvania, but many have not.
