"Wine Cellar" Pete ALREADY ran for President. I'm a Progressive (you can check) and I made sure to actively OPPOSE him during his campaign. Pete (like Hillary) has one of two jobs. First; lose to the Republican. Second, if they didn't lose, don't be the least bit Progressive, be Republican.
Pete and Hillary are power hungry and crave the spotlight. Oh and investigate how many languages Pete can say more than just; 'Hello, my name is...". It's definitely not"8". Pete is a fraud and ANYONE who runs for President after being just an absentee Mayor of a small city?! ...

I'm pretty sure that in 16 years, you're going to learn more about "the real Pete" and it ain't pretty. Any (absent) Mayor of such a small city running for President SHOULD make people very suspicious. Wall Street wanted him in the Oval Office before anyone would catch on.

Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg has been active in addressing various issues related to air travel in the United States. The Secretary has focused on holding airlines accountable for flight cancellations and delays. During periods of significant travel disruptions, like in the summer of 2022 and holiday season of 2022-2023, he pressured airlines to improve their scheduling practices, customer service, and to ensure that passengers were compensated appropriately. The Department of Transportation (DOT) under Buttigieg's leadership has pushed for stronger passenger protections. This includes proposals for new rules that would require airlines to compensate passengers for significant delays or cancellations that are within the airline’s control. This initiative is aimed at ensuring that passengers are not left stranded without recourse.
Buttigieg’s DOT has taken steps to ensure that airlines provide timely refunds to passengers when flights are canceled or significantly changed. The department has fined airlines that fail to comply with refund requirements, and it has clarified and enforced refund rules more strictly. The Secretary has advocated for improvements to the U.S. air traffic control system and airport infrastructure. This includes supporting investments in modernizing air traffic control technology and pushing for funding to improve airport facilities, which can help reduce congestion and delays. He has also focused on the environmental impact of air travel. The DOT has been working on initiatives to reduce carbon emissions from the aviation sector, including promoting the use of sustainable aviation fuels and encouraging airlines to adopt more fuel-efficient practices.
He has engaged in efforts to address labor disputes within the aviation industry, particularly during the pandemic when staffing shortages became a significant issue. Buttigieg has also emphasized the importance of maintaining high safety standards in air travel, supporting measures to ensure that airlines and airports comply with safety regulations. The DOT under Buttigieg has streamlined processes for handling consumer complaints related to air travel. This includes improving the transparency and accessibility of the complaint process, as well as taking action against airlines that repeatedly violate consumer protection laws.

Just so you know, street and highway maintenence is a function of individual city, county, and state governments, not the federal government. If you need a pothole in front of your house filled in, call your city Street Department (most cities and towns have one). And in case you missed it, there is a recently implemented program for infrastructure replacement that is a DOT project, but such complex repair and replace projects can take time, as evidence by the fact that a Trump administration found infrastructure replacement too problematic to even attempt. Many such projects have been initiated by the Biden administration and the DOT, with some already completed, such as the I-95 bridge replacement in Pennsylvania, but many have not.
