Definitely the same person as the Zodiac. What are the odds that there would be another person at the same time who attacks couples and can wait years between killing? Also both focus more on the woman than the man
You're right. You're absolutely right. Good senses and logic. He started killing in the 1930's. He was active in Italy, Czechoslovakia, Britain, USA and Venezuela to name a few countries. He worked for the US CIC for several years. He was very wealthy, bisexual, and his obscene behavior included creating wigs from blond human scalps, wearing women's clothing, and enjoying profusely bleeding animals or humans. His IQ was around 160 points. He spoke several languages. He graduated from 3 prestigious Universities. Engineering, Law + Criminology, and Medical Sciences (doctoral). However, he was sexually damaged and suffered from schizophrenia (split personality). Z13 cipher really contains his true name. And Yes. The Cops never had a slightest clue..
Unlikely. There are multiple serial killers residing in the same country or even city with similar MOs at any given time. Not as widespread as some old FBI stats or crime writers would have you believe but many all the same. Certain types of attack appeal to a certain type of offender - eg, somebody alienated and resentful at not having a place in society is more likely to go on a mass-shooting spree Somebody who gets off on sexual sadistic torture may stab or strangle people - and breaking that down further you look at the demographic they target. Ted Bundy targets college girls because he resents that they rejected him and that he wanted so badly to have prestige and status in life, Gary Ridgway targets street girls because he is a socially inept man who has a very simplistic view of women being either 'good' or 'bad', and after several negative experiences he targets them in a very methodical and forensically aware way because that's simply part of his personality, like an automaton. They both strangled multiple unfamiliar women in cars. What im saying is the crime and similar crimes can usually tell you a lot about the offender's personality - and they might have very similar personal experiences or personality traits that lead to near identical crimes. Or another way to think about it, is think how many individuals in the world qualify for a personality disorder - they will follow virtually the exact same set of traits and behaviours because people are mostly quite psychologically formulaic. But it doesn't necessarily mean the crimes are connected. Not unless you actually have evidence linking the two, I'd say chances are it's mere coincidence based on societal trends/factors of the time and the offenders personal experiences being similar.
You're correct. It was the guy that murdered the black dahlia. He was an abortion doctor for Hollywood. He's also responsible for the lipstick murders in Thailand I think after he fled the US. He was never caught and died in his 90s.
