      Well *now* what will I bring upwhen I complain about how the remaster sucks and breaks compatibility with all the cool options from the old books /s

    • @SlamDancinMoogle
      @SlamDancinMoogle 13 дней назад

      @@daniellemurnett2534 Oracle got better IMO from the initial edition to Remastered. What issue(s) do you take with Remastered Oracle?

    • @daniellemurnett2534
      @daniellemurnett2534 13 дней назад

      @@SlamDancinMoogle My biggest complaint from what I've seen is is that Oracle doesn't feel like... Itself. I do agree that the Oracle needed simplification but the rework it got made the mysteries lose a ton of their identity. And I'd rather play a bad class that's unique than a good class that's bland. Looking at you, Wizard. Also the remaster wrecked two mysteries published in other books that are getting remastered/errata'd who-knows-when which generally annoys me just enough to complain about it online.

    • @SlamDancinMoogle
      @SlamDancinMoogle 12 дней назад +1

      @@daniellemurnett2534 I hear where you're coming from, but keep in mind that the remastered Oracle design makes it much easier to design new mysteries for the class. The effects of using your curse bound abilities were far too granular previously.
      I think the mysteries themselves still hold strong identity from one another, and going forward I expect a fair amount of new mysteries.
      I'm never in favor of overcomplicating things simply for the sake of having complicated things to engage with. The Remastered Oracle (IMO) is in a much better place now, and poised to be a strong class going forward.

  • @franmendoza3952

    As from the remastered rules, your spell proficiency is no longer tied to a particular magical tradition. So now you can freely multiclass your cleric into druid for example and both would use the same spell DC as both use Wisdom.

    Good news about Unexpected Sharpshooter! It is not *just* guns. While its language is heavily gun focused, only two features actually care about guns (Risky Reload and Trick Shot, both of which are also on the Gunslinger class)
    Every other skill, including the base skill, only require a ranged weapon, so this works with things like bows, thrown weapons, or alchemical bombs!

    Just for clarification at the start 1:47 spell list don't have to match anymore right? Like you don't get an 'arcane spell DC' anymore, it's just spellcasting now. That being said it's probably good to match the spellcasting stat, since going with a cleric archetype on your 0 wisdom Wizard may leave your DC being low. But picking Cleric archetype on a Druid for some divine spells should be fine.
    Excited for the rest of the vid though!
