I believe it's a match made in heaven, even though you both offer so much on your own channels. Thank you, Luke. This was a real pleasure. Can I help pay for your train ticket? :D Rob x
I know it's off topic but in reference to the super sergeant, I had a bodyguard armed with a plasma gun attached to my command squad who managed to beat 2 terminators to death in close combat after his whole squad had fallen over the coarse of the assault phase, he then charged Mophiston (one would left) and stuck first and put his ass down too. This guardsman is now a lord commissar armed with a plasma pistol and power sword. Thanks to the heavily applied use of green stuff ... Field promotion FTW!!

This was hands down my favorite battle report that I've seen so far. Not only were the objectives interesting, but the table and terrain were awesome and the tactics were super fun to watch. Both the drop pod and teleport assault by the space marines as well as the Chaos flanking maneuver were really cool. Plus there were titans, super heavy tanks, and tons of air support. This battle report had it all! I loved every minute of it.
Come on Chaos General, wth? You risk summoning bloodletters with a 1 wound non-demon psyker who is ALSO a objective??? And why would you charge a rhino with the termies when you could reach the Warhound? Just UGH..... (Nice terrain though)
This is a dream come true. I am loving Winters SEO being included. Scorpion knows how to produce an exciting battle report. And I haven't even watched this yet. I'm going to say...I LOVE THIS!!!
What an epic game. I have played Winters a couple of times lately and he has a couple of batreps ready to drop against my Sisters of Battle and Crimson Fists. He is a great player and fun to be around. Looking forward to our next game and also seeing him on Striking Scorpions channel again in the future. Striking Scorpion - you are a legend in your own lifetime - keep em coming!
facebook.com/groups/The.Imperium.of.Man/search/?query=Xcom Guy in an FB group I'm in is working on one, getting all the assets ready before he asks GW for liscense. Hopefully they will agree.
Normally I'd be going, "Woohoo an imperium faction won on this channel!" when I realize that half the chaos force are just IG who got their butts kicked.
What a game! Easy to say it was one sided titan victory but had the astropath lived, we would have witnessed a different story. For me, that's the beauty of this narrative: a battle lost by an astropath lost to chaos. Beautiful armies. AMAZING table. Great collaboration from the four of you. Wonderful experience. Thank you!
Great game. In that last combat, did you remember that all chaos characters have the Champion of Chaos special rule and must issue challenges whenever they can? Thanks for all your hard work, and Winters too.
as always my first impressions are of the wonderful crafting and dedication to the game, from the creative fine detail on models to the terrain setting and narration. How do you remember what each character or squad has in skills and arms? The videos are a big step from the first die rolling on the kitchen table with a motley crew hiding behind the teapot and salt cellar! In the end, both sides should be applauded for the time and effort.
Ah, yes, the Battle of Kitachan Tabel. Many lives were lost in the Sinking Salt Fields, and drowned in the Gravy Swamps. But their memory shall live on! I've seen a paper standee Dark Eldar army. Gotta start somewhere!
Impressive! Great board, always liked that bunker complex. Great theme with the chaos transition. Apocalypse battles are the best, especially seeing all of James' guard and imperial armor in all it's glory. Hoping for that dice of a 1 to bring them back to the light! Thanks for sharing.
That's true! The side with the Titans alsway wins... I wanna see a battle with titans on both sides... noone does it! I just don't know why!? Reaver vs Warhound... would have been awesome :D
8 strength D shots... the points don't matter this wasn't even close and would never be close no matter how many times you replayed it. Having 2 laser blasters on a Reaver makes you "That Guy"
I'd love to see a apocalypse game like this where the allies have hidden objectives... so one part of the alliance might be trying to seize a structure, while the other gets mad at them for not killing a particular unit, etc.
I think this is a great idea. I tried to write a 4-way scenario, where three players had different secret objectives, and the fourth, had no goals, was just there to muck things up.
I started 40k a few months ago, and just found this from winters' channel. Yall are officially required to do a rematch in 8th edition. Thank you. DTTFE
Awesome game! By the way does anyone know how you would paint that sort of camouflage on the guard tank? It looks wicked but I havn't a clue how to go about doing it.

Haven't watched it through yet, but I noticed that every time the camera changes, the sound fades in and out, making it very difficult to keep concentration on what is happening and what you are talking about.
Did you roll for the apocalyptic explosion for the knight after the shadowsword destroyed it? Could have been an additional D hit on the remaining knights, not to mention the remaining strengths and ap values from the explosion radius to other units around it.

This battle report. This is what titans are made for. Giant glorious games where the omnisiah's fury is loosed upon the traitor. As a point of response to an earlier statement asking what can take on the titans, the best tool i've found is a little-used formation of the space wolves. Its called a wolf guard thunderstrike. Basically, if done right one squad of vets in a pod and one unit of terminatiors deep strike as a single unit and twin link all their shots on the turn they come in.
