- THESE DECKS ARE BAD??? Master Duel is a great yugioh game because you can really do whatever you want to! For most people thats playing meta decks or archtypes like dark magician and blue eyes, but today, We are dueling using The jaden and syrus starter decks from yugioh GX!!

Perfect opportunity for a joke missed in the first duel. When Doto said “The match is all tied up “ could have followed up with “Guess you could you say we have a 50/50 chance of winning” when they they had 5050 life points each

The two funniest parts of this video were SeeReax saying “Not bad Sy” and when he won the first duel with magic cylinder.

Gotta love level 4 sorta tough vanilla cards. My personal preference was whiptail crow, good ole 1650 made a surprisingly good pick for my DS yu gi oh game
Love character duels. It's a much needed refresher to the 2 meta decks that are running rampant in the game. Personally I'd love to see you two come back to these characters with the decks they have at the end of the anime and that extends to every character themed duel.
This was a fun video, would love to see more of thes.

Please keep these up, they’re so fun. You should try out the structure decks that aren’t necessarily built around characters, too, like the old-school Fire and Water Attributes, or Warriors and Zombies.

That "Generation Next" from Deion in the first 30 seconds set the tone for this video to be fire
This video and these decks bring back memories, Yu-Gi-Oh GX was pretty great and I grew up with it. Jaden's deck actually grew to be my favorite deck just because the fusing of two cards was so cool to me as a kid. Also the cameos with Yugi in the show were great.
I would love to see you guys use Cyber Dragons, it would be awesome.

@@dontedoestuff Yeah in S4 Syrus combines his deck with Zane’s to defeat the top psychic style duelist.
Fun fact after this duel Syrus is declared to have surpassed Zane.

Doto just being doto turns a bad day right around into something amazing. The laugh, the positivity and the back and forth with dion and rhyme when he's on here just sets him above most. Oh and not bad sy!
I would love to see you use a junk warriors/ stardust dragon deck, I’m running that deck right now and It would be nice to see what you would use

Love watching you guys reenacting these historical Yugioh moments, SeeReax really should be cast as Jaden in a live action movie of GX he has the role down. But I do wish the decks were a bit more accurate to the anime. Maybe you guys should look up decklist for their decks at specific parts of the show. That way you can still have fun without all the meta but you also get to do some cool stuff like fusion summon lol.
They pulled them from Legacy of the Duelist.
@@crynosinso8324 They actually didn't. These are the starter decks from 2006, which were altogether pretty terrible products. As you can see in this video, they were just piles of mostly vanillas and some decent back row and then they splashed in a half dozen iconic cards from each character in there.
The decks didn't even have fusion monsters included in them. The extra deck you see visible in the duels must have been added by them, just like the polymerization that they mentioned.
Watching this months later is refreshing to k own it still holds up. Not bad Cy

Honestly, I kinda wanna see what you'd do with my favorite archetype "Dragunity". It's a synchro-focused combo deck archetype.
It's such a hidden gem, they likely wouldn't do it true justice. I love it favorite dragon engine
@@dragonmaster951753 One can hope! I run a version partially based on an April '21 article I read. I don't have all the necessities like "Called by the Grave" or "Dark Ruler no More", but hot diggity damn can it pop off. If there aren't any interruptions I can pretty consistently get a level 10 synchro out right away.

actually, they could use the Cyber Dragon deck and still make it Jaden vs Syrus, since Syrus inherit Zane's Cyber Dragon/Cyberdark deck at the end of season 4

Also, I like how their decks aren't perfect, there's just some random cards in there. Because that's how it really was in earlier yugioh, especially crafting your first few decks.
Everytime SeeReax reacts to taking damage, it just cracks me up. I love it.
It might be late but I’d love to see a series between you, see and rhym do a tournament series as main cast characters and villains/rivals dueling as you evolve the decks. And then have a tournament between the winners of each series.
Like each version is progressively more powerful like jaden using his canon cards and later he uses the different heroes like mask and vision.
Syrus was more iconic in seasons 2&3 of GX as in them he was on the path to becoming the duelist Zane believed he could be since season 1. He is even able to match wits with Zane in season 2 (GX medal tournament) something which even impresses Zane.
