- WHAT IS THIS!! Today in master duel we are recreating one of the most iconic matupsin the entire Yu-Gi-Oh! franchise. Joey VS Bandit Keith! We will be doing this by recreating their structure decks within Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel! Who will come out on top in this legendary duel!?

@ANOTHERlostone I had korean version of Zoa and Metalzoa.I made a deck around those cards so i can summon metalzoa faster.My friend and i had no idea that metalzoa does not have an effect of metalmorph cuz we don't know korean and by common sense metalzoa should have an effect of metalmorph.Few weeks later i accidentaly saw the english version of metalzoa on internet and got really disapointed.

From what I can tell, effects from continuous/field spells require them to be on the field to resolve, so if you'd MST'd mausoleum of the emperor when he tried to summon Barrel Dragon game 1, that would have stopped him from summoning and forced him to waste 1000 LP. Someone let me know if I'm wrong

The reason why Keith need Mausoleum is because with Duelist Kingdom rules, dude didn’t NEED a single level 4 or below monster. Without Mausoleum dudes deck is strictly level 5 and above (in terms of monsters)

I (very ironically) LOVE that Red-Eyes Black Metal Dragon is objectively worse than regular Red-Eyes equipped with metalmorph. Like, I can’t image the thought process Konami had when they printed the card.

It's also funny because a very iconic (and memeable moment from the 4kids dub) Joey moment happened with the very same card, Graverobber. With it, Joey managed to get Yami Marik's live points to 0 in the 4-way duel.
Doto not reading his card and fumbling the game after getting heads with time wizard and backing Deion against the ropes is the most Anime accurate ending I could have asked for.

The Metalmorph transformation that appeared in the Joey/Keith Duel was so cool and I was so sad that it sucked when transferred into the TCG.
Makes me wish they’d retrain it or something into a proper archetype or play style. 🤔

3:30 to be clear, when deion says mst would have negated his field spell, that’s not entirely accurate. the field spell would technically resolve without effect, since continuous spells/traps (including field spells) must be face up on the field at resolution for their effects to go through.
Oh you didn't understand, he understands that ruling ryhme told him that in one of his videos,any continues spell/field spell if it's destroyed upon or before resloving the effect doesn't work
Doto meant to flip MST, but Deion cheated by putting glue on that slot of the board so Doto couldn't destroy his Mausoleum of the Emperor.
I actually really like mausoleum of the emperor for these character duels. It lets you do the classic anime move of summoning without tributing lol
It was something, those coin moments are just brilliant and super breathtaking.

I love these character duels simply because they're fun to watch, No hand traps, No turns that go on for like 5 minutes with over a 100 different chains, Just plain good old fun I miss When this was what yugioh meant, thank you For Making these videos and reminding me of that time.
