That Aqua Dolphin effect play was clutch, definitely a just in case scenario that helped in the end. Using his effect in conjunction with Rainbow Neos since very little monsters in the hand have a set number Attack points of over 4500. Beautiful.
After watching Doto Neos deck video on his channel, I swear he's going for Stardust deck on the next protagonist series lol

Doto is a genius and a savage, this man gave Seereax like 5 homie drops knowing full well that the only way Seereax could win didn't matter anyway. He'd make a pretty damn good Yu Gi Oh protagonist, like a mix between Yugi and Jaiden.
That made him seem more like a villain than a protag because he let his seereax get hope through attacking him with weaker monsters and then when seereax even had the slightest amount of hope he stopped him
@@bulbaa2241 Seereax was more like the villain though, I see it more as Doto being the protagonist who gives the antagonist plenty of opportunities to back down, but is also prepared if they betray him. But regardless of what we think, we can both agree it was cool, right?
@@bulbaa2241 Doto played the role of the protag easily. He setup precautions not because he wanted to torment Deion, but because he was giving him a chance to surrender or suicide in battle phase. He wanted Deion to back down.

Hit is actually the real protagonist of Yu-Gi-Oh. He's just only plays in stopped time so we never see him.

Ive always wanted a duel mode like the one in battle city where it's a four way duel and anybody can save or attack who they want. I think that would be so sick.
I think that's what Cross Duel is going to do.
There's so many deck combinations I'd like to see. I'd love that to be an actual game mode.

I’ve seen Doto’s previous video using Neo spacians. That made my day as I remember being younger and trying to use Neos and elemental heroes in Yugioh video games and more often than not getting clapped. Seeing Doto kinda making the deck work is one thing. But Doto having an anime arc is just amazing.

That first match was probably the most unnecessarily epic scoop I've seen in MD.
Honestly, the duels would be a lot more entertaining if you banned skill drain. Its literally just 5 minutes of you laughing and no one else getting to play once its out, which is great and all, but after 4 videos its getting a bit old.

11:46 - Sadly, while right-clicking can't cancel this, there are some things it can cancel in addition to pop-ups asking to activate things. For something like Ritual or Tribute Summons, if you accidentally start choosing the wrong targets partway through you can cancel the process by right-clicking.
For example, the Mega Monarchs, Ehther, and Erebus all have effects that let them tribute summon by using one tribute summoned monster. If you accidentally say "Yes" when you meant to summon normally, you can right-click and it will give you the option again, whereupon you can choose a different option.
I believe it works with Ritual summoning as well, in case you wanted to tribute a Ritual monster to summon another but chose the wrong summon target. Basically, as long as you haven't committed to the act of summoning, you can change the parameters of _how_ you summon something.
these are the big three of the anime gaming community in my opinion but if there were 4 nano would also be on there cause he is arguably just as good as these guys

@@rhymestyle yeah but that last duel was fun btw...the difference is one is rather *easy* to do and one requires running multiple cards in order to accomplish the same task. One requires multiple steps that can fall to one interruption and one is just a flip
Skill Drain is literally unlimited lmao There's way worse stuff in the game than that card. Rhyme playing it is no issue at all, though I agree the second duel was more fun, Doto could also have won that one way faster and less dramatically if he didn't do seven hundred homie drops for the content, skill drain or not. Skill drain not being there isn't what made Doto's duel more memorable, what made that happen is how much Anime Doto made it be by the way he played.

It’s 2023, and this is what was recommended for me to watch. The only thing I have to say is that Doto is the true villain of the last duel. Sorry SeeReax, but you could have used and A-Z deck. I think that would have been amazing.

Imagine if Yugioh had a similar rule to MTGs Mulligan. If you don't like your opening five, you get one free mulligan, where you shuffle your hand into your deck and draw 5 new cards. If you don't like that one, you shuffle again, drawing 5 cards, but return 1 to the bottom of the deck. Going again would return 2 to the bottom, etc. until you have to return your starting 5 to the bottom, then pray on the top deck. (Yugioh getting a free one because they open with 5 cards and MTG opens with 7)
