- WHAT IS THIS!! Today in master duel we are recreating one of the most iconic matupsin the entire Yu-Gi-Oh! franchise. Joey VS Bonz! We will be doing this by recreating their structure decks within Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel! Who will come out on top in this not so legendary duel!?

to be fair, Rhyme is also entertaining to watch, but when he just simply try too hard in a meme battle just unappealing. But i do enjoy when he did play against another try hard
Fun fact: In the original release of Legacy of the Duelist, the Joey VS Bonz duel was paid DLC, and was balanced around the player having played the rest of the game before buying and playing it. It was in the base game of Link Evolution. That might be why Bonz's deck is so crazy.

With Zombie Dragon, Doto doesn't have a ghost of a chance.

We need more of this. I was just rewatching some of the past character duels last night wondering when the next one was coming out.
The problem with Legacy of the Duelist story decks is that they're all hilariously stacked against the player.
All your opponents will have competent decks while you're playing with vanillas and bricks.
yeah i just played with my own deck. Who wants to reinact famous duels? I want to play as if my OC was the one dueling so I ran my own deck.
For duelist kingdom I ran a meteor black dragon deck
battle city I ran a chaos emperor dragon deck
Post battle city I run black luster soldier deck
Once I start fighting ridiculously overpowered synchro duelists I run five god dragon deck
MFers really saw your opponent running Zombie World and said, "here's a Level 5 monster mash deck."
Oh they're all like that? That's hilarious. I couldn't imagine going against a competent Pegasus deck as vanilla yugi.
My fight against Umi was almost a deck-out.
Destroy the moon was literally on my last 5 cards.
@@zerofang009 Admittedly it's only super awful in the DM and GX campaigns, I didn't play much of the later ones but they seem a lot more manageable.

Not gonna lie I've played nearly every zombie deck and I absolutely love zombie world control. But I had NO idea it stopped tribute summons.

I miss Doto playing in Ranked. As much as I love the character duels, I'd kinda like to see his gamble deck on ranked.
Ranked is not fun after gold it gets really old fast.
@@gambitgambles Yeah, but I miss when Doto would break out the Gamble deck and just catch his opponents completely off-guard with it.
did you forget casual mode is a thing, more people are more willing to play the funny coin tosses than in ranked

These Doto/Deion character duels are always such a delight, even for a person who doesn't really understand Yugioh like me. Would love to see them do Yugi vs. Jaden from the end of GX.

Are they a good archetype? Hell no, but, you know, they did get something…
Still impressed that Doto held his own with this first gen Joey starter deck up against a semi updated Bones zombie deck. Pretty sure Bone's strongest card at this point should've been pumpkin king

I love these character duels
I love these videos but just a recommendation: You might wanna find a decklist for character from another source than Legacy of the duelist. That game, as much as I love it, usually tends to just focus on the combo they used in the specific duel they are imitating in that chapter, and tends to have a lot of filler cards. Like for example, if it is the deck you get in the duel between jaden and chazz, the decklist for jaden is focused on winged kuriboh level 10, since that is how he won in the show in that duel. It makes the lists a bit limiting.
