Hi Vicki that was a really Amazing video U R the best driver ever the Porsche 911 is my favourite car ever & U R Absolutely Amazing & Absolutely Gorgeous and U have a really beautiful voice
When you said you didn't know where the track was going 😅 crazy that they didn't let you have a practice run or go up with someone first. Great job though. Lovely car but a shame it will be so exclusive 😥
I loved how you squished your fingers together to describe the adjustable dampers! 😂 🤗 The automotive world needs more of you doing solo reviews VB-H, seriously. All the Old Skool boys are doing their own thing - it’s time the Old Skool girls stepped up!
@@resnonverba137 haha! Porsche has about 150 Blue colors under the PTS program. I assume it is Gentian, but there are a few that are close too. I have an allotment for a new GT3 and want that color!
Why oh why does everyone obsess over a manual gearbox….. If you’ve ever sat on the M25 (other motorways, interstates, autoroutes and autobahns are available) you’ll be aching for a PDK etc. It’s like hankering back for the days of wind up windows and no air conditioning….. Get real children 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Well my son has been sitting on the M25 this morning in his Mk3 MR2 cursing the fact it has a manual gearbox. At roughly the same time I was hooning around the Lincolnshire Wolds in my Mk2 MR2 loving that it is a manual. In short and as they say, different strokes for different folks.
What's crazy is a lot of people now physically cannot or do not know how to drive a manual and it's just laziness. Having driven over 30k every year in a works van with a manual transmission I've been in many traffic jams on the M25. Actually driven round it twice in one day and in lorries, busses and coaches as well. When you hit a hill, you're greatful for being able to shift down and manually hold the gears. Try driving on a mountain pass on tour in a coach. Paddles are fine on a track but only a manual gives you full control. Try driving on icy roads and try manoeuvres in a tight space. Works fine on a PlayStation but in real life it's just not practical.
Great to see you again! And...in a Porsche at Goodwood, no less!
Thank you for sharing Vicki! You're as iconic as the 911 for motoring journalism and just as beautiful. I hope that you had a great weekend ☺
As usual Vicki , You are a rock star !
You are amazing and great to see you at Goodwood , love the manual as I drive a manual GT3 ❤❤❤
Great to see you and hear you doing car reviews again!
Thanks!
What an amazing car and congrats on being able to drive this beautiful machine at Goodwood. How cool is that! Great driving BTW.
I am so lucky, I know. Fully appreciated!!
Lovely, and the car.
What a brave woman, still waiting for the upcoming fifth gear new series 😂
Oh Lord, won't you buy me.....a Porsche GT3 Touring in Irish green 😊
You just said it! "It has a manual gearbox!" #DreamsAreMadeOfPorsche

The 911 & I were born in the same year. The Porsche has made significantly more impact. 😂😅
👏😜

That's so kind - thank you!
Manual gearbox 👌
Buahhh, go go go, Vicky 🎉🎉🎉
👍👍👍
It sounds like that is the first time you’ve driven the hill? Surprising if so.
Hi Becky, great video thanks. I did notice you drove with no seatbelt, was that right.
Hi. It's Vicki. And I was wearing a seatbelt.
@@thecargirlvickibutler-hend2834 thank you Vicki, sorry I got your name wrong I’m getting too old. I should have kept my mouth shut.
This would be a different 911. Thought you might have realised that. *Well done*
Another one for the collectors.
Surprised you didn't show off the exhaust sound to everyone waiting in the paddock
Did you wear a seatbelt or harness?
seatbelt
I wonder what color that is?
It's blue 🤔

Car is like €500,000.
It's pronounced, 'homaJ', Vikki. It's not a French cheese.

Got to agree with you.
I don't get the fuss either.
I would never buy a car with a manual gearbox ever again.
Especially with that great ratio... traffic or not, would probably in 2nd all the time.
