Coleton nailed the main gripes KIA/Hyundai vehicles have... lots of bings and bongs in the car for everything and the fact that their Cruise Control system DOESN'T bing or bong when the vehicle gives up on lane keeping... you only know it has given up control by looking at one symbol on the dash or the heads up display (which is hard to see with polarized glasses)
there may be some killer deals on off lease Kias in a few years! - We got our 2015 Nissan Leaf for $9k when it was 2 years old with 20k miles b/c they had so much off lease inventory.
5:56 same here. Never thought I'd own a Kia / HMG product. I ended to with a Genesis gv70 EV lease. Love the flexibility of my 13 month lease to try the drivetrain, suspension, EV range etc.
I love my Kia's we have like four an Ev6, Sorento, Stinger and a Sportage for our daughter, would love to add an Ev9, but not in the budget. Totally underrated company , they are killing it recently.
I got my EV9 a month ago for slightly more per month but I am loving my Land trim! Thanks for your videos covering this car, it's the only reason I got the car.
Honestly it is more inconvenient but as long as you are comfortable troubleshooting and planning ahead it's not too bad, I've road tripped in a tesla, rivian, bolt, and leaf. Maybe its leaf that makes me think ccs isn't that bad.
Wow, just visited a Kia dealer b/c of Coleton’s previous great deal on his Ev6. Been looking at getting a Tesla model 3 LRRW, but if I can get a lease deal anywhere close to his on the Ev6 I would consider it instead of getting the M3. Actually, after driving the ev6, found it more comfortable than the M3, but the M3 was really more fun to drive. Unfortunately, I’m in Calif. , the dealer lease offer: $820/m , $3k dwn for the ev6 wind (non-awd). I told dealer about the FC Kia’s deal for Coleton, he couldn’t believe it, he’s going to check the YT video Coleton did on the Ev6 lease.
"Actually, after driving the ev6, found it more comfortable than the M3, but the M3 was really more fun to drive" Just the same with most otehr cars. More comfortable but booooooooring.
Beautiful car. I’m just not sold on EV’s. They really are not saving the planet by significantly reducing CO2 once the battery mining and process of materials is considered. The charging infrastructure is not suitable for long distance traveling at this time. And unless one can charge at home, the price of electricity to charge outside of the home at fast charging station is not as economical as it was thought to be (in fact, there are reports that those having to solely rely on fast charging stations are actually paying more per mile than using gas/petrol/diesel. Plus, the additional cost of EV’s over equivalent ICE is at least $10K to $15K. Tax incentives are just a scam since it relies on other people’s taxes to pay for the incentive. In essence, it will lead to raising taxes on everyone. Not against EV’s. They only really seem to make sense for a limited number of people.
Colton’s comments were very interesting. There looks to be a big difference between the VW and the EV9, size wise. Congrats on getting a great deal for a sharp car.
After a hard day at work, I miss the massage seat driving home, now that my wife has the kid hauler and I'm driving home the Model Y😂

nothing like a new car.. I own a Tesla 2023 model 3 short range but want to upgrade to the newest model 3 dual motor long range but can't because the trade value is less than the payoff..
So $425 per month (not counting time value of 3k) for only 10k miles max a month. Price seems great but 10k is the deal breaker. I see zero point in getting a new car that you want to drive, in a place like Colorado where you can easily put in a lot of miles. And 2 year lease is really too short imo. Will feel like you just got it when you're having to deal with finding a different one.
When did they first present it? ... together with s and 3 . It's time to ad reasonable cars to the lineup. 3 row suv, mini van (just suggestion) Cyber truck was a wase of time and recourses.... did make big 3 burn their battery allotment on trucks but I don't know if it really helped, since kia and vw didn't go for it.
Is the stock market actually getting better or is this the Election time manipulation to entice new investors, I'm currently sitting on an inheritance of 300k and i'm wondering do I invest in stocks or Gold?
market crash is inevitable, but there are actually strategies to mitigate risk and profit consistently, tho such executions are usually carried out by investment experts
Agreed, people often underestimate the role of financial advisors. Over 50 years of data reveal that those who work with advisors typically earn more than those who do it alone. I've been fortunate to work with one for 5 years now, resulting in a million portfolio.

KIA is a great competitor in the EV space. I'm really excited to see what they come out with in the future. The EV5 looks awesome, especially in the orange.
As soon as he said the software is like an Android made me realize the software is probably A-Okay and it's probably user-error since they only know iOS.
@@Snerdlesyou’re literally paying tax money for something that benefits you if you so choose compared to literally everything else they spend our money on lol
Kyle, this has nothing to do with this video but i’m looking at a 2019 model 3 and i was wondering how it does in the snow, performance and if it defrosts the snow and or has issues with freezing? Thanks!
The EV price has stabilized and so wouldn’t it be better to outright buy an EV. You still get those incentives while buying one. A Model Y 7 seater would discount the price by 12-13 thousand at the point of purchase and still keep the car for the same monthly payment.
The problem with Dog mode is liability. My guess, some companies just don't want the risk for Dog Mode failing, or people using it for kids. Its a little gain for high risk.
I like the AWD wind trim. Matt black around the wheels, manual bench seat in the second row, all the goodies I want except the heads up display. And cheaper. But not cheaper than buying an ev in Colorado.
How are they getting such Cheap lease deals over there??? Is it because Colorado also has that $5,000 incentives on EV which automatically detucts from the selling price of the vehicle and also the manufacturer rebates and incentives including
Kia is offering a lot of cash discounts on EVs. Plus, this does not include the trade-in value of your old car, military status, or current Tesla owner. If you play with the payment calculator, you can get some good deals especially leases. Another thing to consider is that each state has incentives too for adopting EVs. You have to do your research and find them.
The new EV’s are a computer filled device that you can drive. I did not think I needed all the advanced features, but those were the ones that were available. Now I have all the features I really like the safety, ease and pleasure that the features help to give you.
44:54 I just realized I'm never gonna go back to the touch screen Ui interaction again after trying the Genesis center console switch knob / rotary dial for the past few months with my gv70 EV with same software interface
Wow that’s crazy also Nissan is doing a great deal on the electric ariyas in Colorado as well I believe I think it’s a $199 payment and their also expensive in the 50ks

We must first check with the council of Kia

it looks like the family hauler from the Chevy Chase Movie Vacation :)
Jeez. The Out of Spec people change cars more often than Kyle changes his hoodie.
All of the Colorado EV channels do this. It’s great to keep content flowing and the cars are super cheap.
The EV9 is a fantastic car! We have a 2024 EV9 GT-Line, as well as a 2023 EV6 green limited edition EV6 and red EV6 GT.
Life's too short to be stuck with an ID.4.
Its not bad, the 2024 has improved greatly and its infotainment doesnt suck anymore

My first car was a VW polo with 84pk that is slow, 201pk is not slow.
KIA is the company to watch going forward. Bets?
I just love that Kia chose the "EV" naming convention. It sticks it to GM, which crushed all their EV1's and sold the technology to big oil Chevron.

There’s a similar deal in NJ for $199 a month with $5k down. Totals out to about the same

Luckily the European spec EV9 does not have that stupid 12V battery charging indicator light.

Coleton said it was a 2 year 10,000 mile lease. I put more than 10,000 miles a year on all of my vehicles.
Probably a good deal to pick it up in 2y with 20k - 25k miles
I should have clarified, it’s 10,000 miles per year
Yeah, that is insanely limiting, especially for a SUV in Colorado that should be being driven a lot.
The KIA EV6 “autopilot” also just gives up without any alerts. CRAZY!
10k miles only for 2 year span?
10k per year
We leased an ID.4 this summer. EV lease deals were cheaper than ICE.
In MD , tax n fees are extra so your out the door is 11 grand . So we walked out!
Love my Land EV9 too, I have two large dogs which is why I traded the Ioniq 6 go the EV9.
Colton, what would your buyout be if you decided to keep it at the end of the lease?
We have incentives in Washington state but I do not think that you would get a deal like that
I drive 30k a year. Who needs a car if you drive 5k a year?
You guys care too much about looks and acceleration.
Who's paying for all these deals in Colorado? Seriously, KIA can't be selling them all at a loss.
Taxpayers mostly. It's surprising how cheap things get when you can use the threat of imprisonment to force others to pay for it.
