Cheaper than your cell phone? Wow that must be cheap! *Watches video* Uhhh, Kyle, you're over paying your cell phone. I mean it's a cheap price for a car lease, but Kyle we gotta take about your phone bill
lol unlimited everything plus watch and iPad - just over $200/month and my iPhone was fully specced to ~$1500
@@KyleConner you financed the iPad through your carrier? Yeah, that'll do that.
@@Necrotronno - just pay for unlimited data for my iPad
@@KyleConner what phone carrier are you with?
@@KyleConner the hell kind of data plans do you guys have? Here in Finland unlimited 450 mbps 5G is $30 a month. $40 for 1000 mbps
You guys need to thank your lucky stars you live in Colorado and have all those incentives. Here in the UK one of the cheapest lease deals I can find for an ev6 is equivalent to $5300 down and $750 per month!!!!!. Great video guys as always. I'm a recent ev enthusiast and I have been binge watching your guys content of late. Much love and keep up the great work.
Dividing the annual mileage allowance by 52 weeks will give you the number of miles you can drive each week on a 10,000-mile-per-year lease. So, you can drive approximately 192 miles per week (10,000 miles
It's important to remember that this is just an estimate, and your actual mileage may vary depending on your driving habits. If you tend to drive more than this, you may want to consider a lease with a higher mileage allowance or be prepared to pay excess mileage fees at the end of your lease term. It's still an amazing deal even on lease hacker you cannot get a deal like this it gets even cheaper if you work out how much it would cost you gas
Just checked locally for me and it would be $3k down and $250 a month.
I’d do that Fort Collins deal but this one’s a little out of reach.
Hey Kyle, have been an avid follower of your electric vehicle videos...I am considering the EV6 from Fort Collins Kia in the next 3 months...the conditions that the dealership is offering are great...Are there any exceptions...I live in Texas...Can they truly ship the car to me just for the down payment and monthly installments? I am planning to lease a 2 year 120,000-15,000 mile car...
Since you know them better...hoping to get more info...like required credit scores...additional payment during signing the lease etc.,
Not a mention of the fact that the ‘25 EV6 and IONIQ 5 revisions are right around the corner guys? That’s the main reason for these deals!
Not really relevant if the price is right!
@@SteveBoyer10 I disagree. Information is king. Otherwise it’s all just an ad for Fort Collins Kia, for a deal available to CO residents only at that price, in very limited quantities. Leasing an EV6 ‘for the dogs’ is already a niche use case, to say the least. Might as well do some research and put the deal in context.
This isn’t helpful for everybody else. What about OC California
I’m looking at this guy, his leg is jammed against the middle panel… It is a beautiful car but the interior is a disappointment!! Had this car the interior screen integration of the 2023 Tucson it be 100%
Hey Kyle
Just an update...the $150 odd monthly lease is only for those who live in Colorado...so when you said they can ship anywhere in the country for free...if we do not live in Colorado...we pay almost $550 per month lease..
Thanks
$229.00 here in Florida!
@@monstro620😮
so if I live in California but am willing to go to Colorado to lease it will that work?
@@pedrohizzle2835 you should have a home address there
Some tips from an EV6 GT-Line owner:
- The small nav/climate menu works best when you default it to climate settings because you have redundant audio controls on the steering wheel and infotainment screen.
- There are independently programmable "favourite" shortcut buttons on the steering wheel and the climate/nav screens; you can set one of them to "Utility Mode" which works like dog/pet/camp mode in other vehicles minus the "my dog is ok" message on the screen. Great for leaving your doggos in the car if you're running into a store
- If you get a carplay dongle, consider getting a USB on/off switch to put inline with it, so you can reset the dongle without having to reach down to unplug the USB cord.
- Battery preconditioning is only available using the terrible Kia nav system, make sure it is enabled as sometimes the Kia Connect app can randomly turn that feature off.
Have they set the car to let you lock the doors in Utility mode yet?
@@MrTekniqs Unfortunately the only way is to use the physical key to lock it while in utility mode, like a caveman. Hoping for an OTA to fix this - it's a common complaint.
KIA hyundai EVs are on fire sale.
they WILL get cheaper and cheaper every single day. wait for few more month.
So, a non-colorado resident would have to pay an extra 5500 down to get that lease price?
This is a lesson on how to save the environment by owning multiple EVs that you dont need.
Better than a third gas car. Also, that will become a wonderful used EV for someone who can't afford a new one in 2 years.
@@fjalics so much better, little african kids dug those toxic metals inside the batteries so you can save the environment
@@MiroBG359 Let me guess, your sudden interest in those children didn't begin till EVs came along, and you aren't interested enough to know it is artisinal mining of cobalt in the DRC - Democratic Republic of the Congo. It's a complicated subject, involving desperately poor people trying to eek out a living, with easily accessible ore. I want the children to be safe. There is no chance using children is the cheapest way to mine cobalt. Heavy machinery and experts are much more efficient. This seems like a solvable problem. Also, some chemistries like LFP doesn't use cobalt, though I think the one in the EV6 does. By all means, read up on the subject and post a comment where I learn from you.
From same dealer I got $1500 down $338/month. I asked about this deal, sales claimed deals are different every month.
I met a guy here in rural NC who has an EV6 GT. He can piddle around the county around 45-50 mph and cover almost 400 miles on a charge. He charges at night, says it costs $13 per charge using home charger.
That doesn't work for me because I have to haul a horse trailer and a yacht cross country and up mountains every week and I drive for 16 hours straight without stopping and drive in the cold where evs lose 70% of their range below 50 degrees (joking but someone will probably actually say this)
@@sakidickerson Your use case is wildly atypical. Eventually, though, transfer trucks may provide a heavy-duty spin-off for consumers. Have you ever considered just buying an extra yacht and leaving one at each house? LOL
@@billbush1270 loll I'm just trolling. I'm happy to see evs get more popular but I always see someone in the comments with an outrageously uncommon use case claiming evs will never work for them. Never is a long time. Electric trucks towing wasn't possible 50 years ago..
@@sakidickerson I fully get it. I bought a Prius, and the locals on the bench in front of the corner store immediately informed me that I was in for a big bill every time the battery went bad. None of them have a vehicle less than 20 years old, and a few walk!
Yeah I have an EV6 too and I easily get over 300 mile range during my daily driving. Usually 4.2 miles per kWh. Great efficiency!
Ran into a guy with one of these charging when I first bought my Ioniq 5. He was getting over 400 miles of range driving it as an Uber. He charged once a week and drove uber all week. NYC area, but he lived in New Rochelle. My Ioniq 5 will generally get 300 miles of range depending on how I drive. I could get more. I've seen efficiency of 3.9 but I like to... drive sometimes so it only happened once when I was doing eco mode and let the car do it's thing. Basically set the cruise control and let the car accelerate from 0 following traffic.
I can not believe this price. I am driving a Kia EV 6 AWD for 1 and a half year and about 43000km almost 27.000 miles. And i love it, perhaps not best range at higher speed, but this does not matter if the Infrastructure is fine, because it charges so good.
I just picked one up today, July 27, from Ft Collins Kia. Same car as in the video plus $1,500 Tech package. Not as cheap as in the video but at $280 plus $1,500 down was still a great deal. Sales person and dealer overall was very easy to work with - no funny business.
My first thought was that this was including the Colorado residency deal. But this is still a great lease deal. I have an Ioniq 6 and it's pretty enjoyable, I'd recommend the e-gmp cars.
Why do you keep calling it “buying” and “owning?” You’re neither buying or owning. It has to be given back in two years.
You could buyout the lease at anytime but most people will wait until the end of the lease to do so. It's only Telsa that you have to give back the vechicle cause they got rid of the buyout option a little after covid. Do note that when financing a vehicle you don't own it either until you fully pay it off.
@@volcalstoneso true, thanks for the post.
Should we continue to say "bought" a car with leases? He's renting it.
Unless you pay cash the day you "bought" you are also renting. The creditor owns it. The day you make your last payment and get title is the day you call yourself an owner.
@@jmarxful So I assume you consider everyone with a mortgage a renter as well?
@@patrick7228even if your house and property are paid off, you are still renting from the government. See what happens when you don't pay your taxes.
@@jmarxfulYou take possession at the end for no more money. You don’t get that w/ a lease. Buying a car is not renting even though the bank is holding the title.
This is the dumbest thread ever.
I bought a ‘21 Model 3 SR+, the slowest charging, smallest battery, shortest range Tesla! Love it!
What do I care what its resale price is? I have zero interest in getting rid of it! It’s only a “loss” if I want to get rid of it. Otherwise, it’s just numbers on paper.
I’ve never been one of those “ashtray is full, time to get a new car” kind of guy. And from what I can tell, this car may well outlive me (68)!
You can have my EV when you pry it from my cold, dead fingers!
STOP saying BUYING.....you're LEASING IT! BIG DIFFERENCE! DID he get the wear insurance???
I saw EV6s everywhere when I visited Ireland last month, and Britain is now using EV6s as ambulances!
Wow. North Carolina is woefully lacking on EV incentives. Nothing like those in CO.
Why can't I get a lease like this in South Florida? I looked around -- leases are much higher here.
The $5350 Colorado "Innovative Motor Vehicle Credit" has residency restriction to being a Colorado resident. So whatever discounts you are counting in, you won't get that $5350 if you are not a CO resident and you won't be under $200/no like in this video.
If I'm wrong, someone from Ft Collins Kia should chime in directly.
You’re right! That’s why I said you’ve got to be local to CO to get the incentives
Bummer ☹! I was ready to call and make the deal, then catch a plane to Fort Collins and drive it back to Northern Utah. Maybe I can find a good deal on a used EV6 here in Utah.
@@ValConBsame, also from Utah 😅
Someone just t-boned my wife’s old VW so I’m in the market for a secondary vehicle and was gonna pull the trigger on this
Hey Kyle. Looking for a roommate for a few days 😂😂
I thought he said because the dealer is there and its a lease you still get to take advantage of those discounts.
Nissan is giving away Aria leases for like $200 as well. Lease deals are crazy on EVs right now
Did I hear 10,000 mi/year?
Yes you did
Real question, what situations do u need 3+ cars for one person when you aren't super well off
Answer is none, but people are not fluent in finance and want to show off
No! But silly ppl don’t care.
3+ cars for one person is silly even if you're not a working bloke. Materialism/decadence is why western society is in decline. The law of moderation applies to everything, including all things monetary. It has a funny way of always coming around to make people pay in the end. Colton may think this lease is cheap, but nothing in life is free. Society (state rebates) will pay the bill and the artificial happy high won't last.
Yeah, I agree 100%. I support the channel via my viewership I suppose, but these people have serious consumption issues IMO. Here’s an idea, when you get bored, just go for a walk.
I had 3 vehicles before the combined value was around $20k
Man I like the wheels
Right on 👍 don’t black them out 👎
Clicked for the deal, stayed for the incredibly cute dog.
Be careful with allowing interior (or exterior) damage to occur during a lease.
Over the years (especially recently), several of my friends have been handed huge reconditioning and repair bills (like $15,000 huge) after returning their leased vehicles. Some of the damage included stuff like their dog liked to rub on a particular section of the rear seat, or their 3 dogs made the rear hatchback area smell of dogs, etc.
If you read your lease contract carefully, you'll see it allows for some wear and tear, but not much...
This is the only place I hear people call leasing, buying.
I moved abroad 30 years ago so maybe I'm behind the times.
That's an excellent deal for sure! Its exciting to see all the EV deals. This makes it more accessible for folks to get into an EV.
A married couple with four cars? Do the kids have cars or are they all for the parents? Four cars?
jeasus, people are really this bad with their money , $200 for a cell phone bill ?! a second car just to keep your main car "nice" and you are a detailer professionally ? seriously ?
What's the residual after the lease is over? Of course it doesn't matter much if you don't think you'll buy it, but I'm curious what they're expecting the depreciation to be considering used EV prices are on the floor right now.
Hybrid is the answer, sorry ev is not but good luck
hybrid for now but ev is the future no denying that. once battey tech improves and they add a lot more super chargers.
It’s amazing how taxpayer funded subsidies have infected the purchases of EVs to the point of serious market distortion. And has destroyed the manufactures incentive to actually provide sub $40,000 EVs. Why do cheap cars is you can get government to pay $7,000 to $20,000 for every cay that goes out the door.
My cell bill is $25 a month.
We are not the same
That's why it's "his" bill
$450 is cheaper than your monthly phone payments; jebus; I pay £30 for THREE phones ($35??); even if you add in my Fibre internet package, that is still less than $100.
Mid model refreshed ev6 will be built in Georgia next year. Wireless Android Auto and Apple Carplay finally.
49 states of jealousy😢. These deals are the only incentive to buy a CCS (excl.Ford,Rivian) vehicle. Kudos to Colorado and Fort Collins Kia for proving that EV ownership is possible for EVERYONE!
And tell them how much in car insurance for the car
Exactly 😅
Texting at a light even with the tech is ignorant, selfish and dangerous... I heard you say it and it blows my mind... Put down the phone and drive... You owe it to your fellow drivers...
This video is golden. I showed my local KIA dealership and they said no but appreciated that I at least had a reason for why I wanted the price lol.
Younger people are getting screwed but they dont know better. Cars are and always have been the biggest ripoff. Today more than ever.
This got me excited. Then I checked on the lease deals in California and Whaaaaaaaa Whaaaaa Whaaaaaa. They suck. Must be a Colorado thing.
We just viewed your traffic video on the EV6, and visited the website for Ft. Collins. We are ready to lease one, however I do not see the car with the Long Range battery available. Nor do I see any lease offers for Kia in Las Vegas or Phoenix. We are in Lake Havasu City AZ. Also do you have a "What's in the box" video on the EV6 explaining what 220v cable does it come with, who can I charge with, what's the pro's and Con's from you point. We are retired, I have a home, and can put in wall charging in a week, and solar charging in a month. Thanks- Roger
I see this type deal on several EV models... but my local dealers insist these deals don't exist, and literally offer a "deal" that is literally 3 times the cost of this deal.... $4.5k down and $550 a month. What is the "secret" to getting a lease deal like this.. Interested in Audi, or Kia EV6
What's the best way to be alerted when leases like this are available ? Great that you found it but when I do a quick look on Kia deals, they're 3x the price of this deal. Help !
I got a EV9 light long range for $300 and $1500 signing with first payment 24/10k in Northern California. How is that lease?
Even with government incentives, dealer is losing money on this deal. Cars are back to quick depreciation. Expensive EVs in particular.
Dude owning an EV is straight up stupidity. Every EV depreciates massively in the first 3 years and instead of taking the depreciation by yourself is stupidity. The incentives and rebates on lease offsets that depreciation on the owner so only leasing one with right price makes any sense.
Ollie stole the show ❤
It'll be interesting if Kyle's new house has a bigger driveway because you can guarantee he's going to fill it up with more cars, I love it when he ask a Alyssa if she would like a Kia EV 6 "No we don't need any more cars" 😂
Did I understand that Car Play is either plug in or requires a wireless adapter with this model?
'23 Ariya's were going for 0 down, $90/month for base, and $150 Evolve+ AWD last month. I think some of the incentives went away though. But those were from Ohio/Kentucky without state incentives.
Does anyone know of a good Hyundai dealer in Michigan with good lease offers on an Ioniq 5? I live in Traverse City and the dealers here seem fairly disinterested in EVs.
$55k for that Kia ??? "Yeah... NAH!" This video is just a limited infomercial. 👎
How expensive is your cell phone bill if if costs more than leasing a brand new car/SUV?!?
I have never leased a vehicle and hated the idea of leasing a vehicle. I recently stumbled across the deals of a Lucid and can't believe how stupidly cheap these cars can lease for.
Which lucid .. how much ?
I’ll say what Coleton won’t, the heated steering wheel joke was in really poor taste.
Love the dog!! And love the Spaceballs reference too…
Where are you getting $1500 down. All i see is $3999 down for $229 a month
I tried for a deal on one of these last month. The salesman at the dealership saw me pull in with a Leaf and started with “coming in because you are sick of the battery powered trash” test drove an ev6 wind and his lease price was first month down and 580/month so I bought a MY with the .99%
580/month😂😂😂
try $299/ month
Here in canada we're getting screwed.
whats the point of this video? it's only 1 dealership that's doing it and this guy has 4 cars and he's leasing all of them? wtf is the sense in it?
I have the EV6 AWD wind, same color. Great car.
I got a Wind AWD in interstellar gray. I love that color.
Dog is the best actor in this show.
you could say prices were so low he didn't have to lose an arm and a leg for it .
Creepy asf
So you are happy Kia is selling things at a loss? How is that sustainable for an entire industry?
Lol yeah in some places you cab get a Nissan Leaf under 50 bucks a month 😅
Reminds me of a few years back in Germany, right before the end of the year you could get a Renault Zoe on lease for 99 euros a month.
Half off…… you crazy…… heated steering,…….. your mad🎉
I wish our protection regime would let BYD, Xpeng, Huawei, NIO, etc be sold in the USA! KIA, tesla, gm, ford, Toyota, Honda, etc has 5 yr old tech and its expensive! OPEN THE DOOR FOR MADE IN CHINA EVs...COMPETITION IS AWESOME!
Because Chinese get 1 USD per hour minimum wage. Get real.
BYD is going to be building or finishing 2 big factories in Mexico soon, so hopefully something gives. The US car market needs more competition, legacy auto has gotten quite complacent. PS I'm personally quite smitten with the Zeekr 001 and I quite like some of what NIO has.
It's Sept 26. is the $180 Lease still available?
Junk being given away seems normal to me actually.
You are mot buying a car when you lease it, dude.
Click bait. Emphasis only works in Colorado. My area is like 500
talk to much, get to the point, ended the video, tired of waiting for you...
So this is there for Kia Corporate to scam tax credits and then resell the car after the lease
I just leased an ev9. Did a lot of shopping around, I got a deal I’m happy with but the lack of transparency, the haggling and battering is exhausting. I wish there was an easier way!
There is you lease or buy a Tesla. No nonsense no dealer bs

Lease definitely seems the best way to engage with these Kia/Hyundai EVs, cause if you have to replace a battery in these cars the battery will cost just as much as the entire car was new.
You do realize they come with 8 year 100k mile battery warranty right?
@@runany1 Yeah, and Kia/Hyundai are notorious for making up reasons to deny that paper warranty. There’s already been multiple news and RUclips stories of warranty denial due to scratches on the underside plastic shield, particularly out of Canada.
Did you say they will work with out of state buyers? 😮
Which this deal was available here(Montreal, Canada)
I would take that deal . Not like that in Illinios.
20k miles is maybe 6 months of driving for me
You've got skills, keep honing them
That's a lot of government money to get overpriced cars on the road! 55k for the car, what is the buy out? For renting a car, that is cheap. In two years , 2026 or 2027 cars are going to be much cheaper, or Parking lots are going to be full of used cars.
Signnnn me up!!!!!! Send the savings to nyc lmao
I’m guessing they want to get them off the lot asap
That same car is $5k down and $199/mo plus taxes and fees for a 24 month lease 10k miles/yr around the Seattle area. A SR RWD 2024 Model 3 is about $375/mo with $3k down and that includes taxes and fees for 36 months and 10k miles.
