Triss' name is still in the Sunstone quest files.
Don't worry about the medic from the contract. Devs confirmed years ago that it's just a reused asset of hubert while explaining the difference between higher vampires in main game and how their term evolved in blood and wine. Given that the body of the medic doesn't change after you kill the katakan, all makes sense.
4:27 In original Polish version, Hjort's prophecy sounds different. It's also related to the linguistic differences in feminine gender - Hjort doesn't use the word as English word "she (will die)", but what he says should be correctly translated : "this person (will die)". She or he. It's also the play of words. Because in Polish the word "person" is feminine, Yennefer thought about Ciri and got scared (she tried to turn the whole situation into a joke). But who were Geralt and Yennefer looking for at this stage of the game? I don't remember the order correctly, but I think - Crach. And Crach dies in the game, Ciri - not necessarily. So the original prophecy was very ambiguous, but in English that has been totally spoilt. Someone translated word play carelessly and incorrectly.

Xletalis once made a video claiming that Dragon Age Inquisition was better than the witcher 3 in every way except the side quests. He milks the witcher worse than Netflix. His audience are the most toxic side of the witcher "fan base" who spew vitriol at anyone who doesn't like it or have the nerve to criticise people who like the first two games better. He and his audience are solely comprised of first time witcher players who couldn't give a shit about anything witcher that doesn't end in "wild hunt" CDPR sees right through this channel this is why the don't throw him an invitation to anything plus they see how toxic his audience are around wild hunt and the company itself. I've got to admire both CDPR for putting a truly staggering amount of content and attention to detail in the TW3, which is why it's the GOAT, but also your dedication to finding it all, seven years after release. Quite honestly CDPR need to patch in some kind of nod to you in the game.
I suppose the Next-Gen has... well not really a nod, but there are 2 changes that are possibly inspired by my videos. Vivienne's different clothing and fixed death animation in Skellige, and a better visible tapestry in the crones' house during the worst ending

i also immediately thought that ciri getting on the tree was a reference to the books. also i think the little girl ciri meets in the bog also got on the tree and there was an interaction about it? but i might be imagining things. the interaction between ciri and the girl really reminded me of geralt and ciri in brokilon, only that ciri being the protector now, kinda tying nicely the fact that she's no longer a child that should be looked after. i was replaying skellige lately and had one of the pearl divers die immediately in the ambush. i didn't even remember that you can have them just leave without incident.
Love hearing the Kaer Morhen music and your voice talking about the Witcher 3. Seems like we'll never run out of things for people to find in this game!
Very good research with that connection to the books in the first chapter. I've heard about initial version of the game, there was a Source-visionary Hvitr with similar powers like Ciri, who met her in Lofoten. There was a ritual with druids and Geralt heard that Hjort is a druid, but it was not true.

"a handful of these have slipped past you over the years..." No sir. Notifications are on for your channel and i did not miss a single video in the last 3 years.
something I found out myself recently and I loved the fact that it was a thing. you know how you go to the (iirc) crossroad Inn to then go to barren, you encounter his henchmen. if you chose the dialogue where you explain your swords and then try to talk to them after the cutscene they eventually get aggressive and attack you. they warn you about 3 times but if you keep pressing E they will attack.
On Fishlung: thank you for this! I've been ambushed mid-dialogue and not across my playthroughs and I never realized what I was doing differently. The ambush was one of my earliest playthroughs so I eventually thought I imagined it. On Mislav: I seriously broke that quest in my latest playthrough and ended up not speaking to Mislav at all (which really upset me, because I love Mislav - he's an incredibly well-crafted character for someone who's barely even in the game). My goal was to explore as much of White Orchard as I could before setting foot in the Inn for the first time and because I found the soldier's bodies on my own before I was ever told "go see Mislav", it was just auto-checked off the list the second that part of the quest started. I tried going to see him anyway just to see if I could still get any dialogue in but he only speaks like any other NPC you might run into in a town - just a line or two of basic dialogue above his head. Tangentially related to the Mislav thing in that it was another thing I played with the timing of in White Orchard, I thought for a moment that I'd managed to permanently break the well quest because I defeated Claer's wraith before I ever picked up anything about the quest. (Hilariously, all throughout searching the village, finding her body, finding her bracelet, etc. no quest ever manifested; it was only once the fight was over that I suddenly got it as a new quest and all it said was "check the notice board".) When I went to see her the contract giver instead of going to the notice board, we had mostly the same dialogue, though I believe Geralt somehow acknowledged knowing about the wraith while also not actually admitting he did anything to solve the issue. The dialogue ended with Geralt basically saying he would see what he could do about the well and I had a moment of "oh God no, it's going to want me to explore the village which I can't do, because I've already done it" before I hurried back into another dialogue with the father where it was the completely standard quest-end dialogue. I'm not surprised dialogue wasn't coded in to account for people like me but it was way to amusing to think about Geralt standing in this stranger's house announcing he would go investigate this mysterious issue at the well, never leaving the house and then suddenly saying "Well, I've solved it! The wraith is dead; long live Mandy!" 😂
I believe I've found an interesting detail, although I'm not sure if it has been mentioned before. When you go to rescue the fire-swallower at the wedding in Hearts Of Stone, you may recall the fact that you encounter a wild boar while escorting him back to the wedding. After defeating it, the fire-swallower mistakes it for a bear, and when you correct him, he says he isn't "a damn naturalist". The fire-swallower's name is David Hartensborough, surely a reference to David Attenborough, one of the most famed naturalists of all time lol.
Your Witcher videos have become a comfort watch for me. A moment to remember those times, feeling at bit more at ease, a bit further away from every day trouble. Your voice is also calming.
I have to admire the fact that after so many years you still manage to find some small novelties here and there, enough so to make an entire video about. The dedication is real ! And the fact that there are still things to discover, it's insane. I wish there was more to be found about Nilfgaard, given how much was cut from the game i'm surprised there hasn't been more hidden dialogues datamined from the game files, similar to that brief interaction between a Temerian gardener and Emhyr that you posted a while ago. I want to know why Geralt is so violently opposed to Morvran leading troops to Kaer Morhen and would rather face the Wild Hunt with a dozen people that accept Emhyr's very reasonable conditions.
Great details video man! Loved the part about the reference to the Sword of Destiny book. In fact just recently read through that part about the brokilon forest adventures, almost finished reading the book soon. Cheers! 🍻
One of the rare cases where I've found 2 details during my playthrough - wolves and bear. But great work as always, thank you (also it wasn't a waste of 30 seconds)
Well spotted. The only one I knew and do regularly is the kill the bear early. And I've never got kicked out the bank, so I had no idea that could even happen
I actually ran into the bear on my first play through before escorting Princess through the woods and didn’t even realize I’d done things out of order until my second
2:00 Yeah I think it was for the better. As much as it'd be hillarious to see your reactions to more Dryads of Brooklyn from the show I'm glad they removed it. As always, interesting stuff from you. You make me want to go back to the Witcher 3 and finish up the Blood and Wine sidequests...which I will do probably after beating the current thing I play in. If you ever go with the Thronebreaker I may go back and actually play in that game! I love the artstyle but for some reason I always start the game, play for X time and drop it. After coming back I need to start anew to know what the hell is going on and the broken circle continues.
Hahah I came on this page like 2 hours ago to see if there's a new cyberpunk vid before I jump back in. I come back and there's a new witcher one 😂. Love this channel and your dedication!
Anytime you make a new Witcher 3 video, I will watch it. It could be covering the different colors of shoes that Yen prefers, you could make that good my friend!
Back to it once more yet again! Might be that i once wrote something about the Hunt scene, but it goes even deeper, considering that Avalac'h, who is called "the Fox" gets caught and turned into the best Romance ever, Uma, while Ciri did take a cat school Medaillion from Bonhard. Furthermore, Geralt's story isn't just randomly made up, but it is actually one of the Brothers Grimm Tales.
Het xLetalis, I'm doing another playthrough on the Witcher 3 and I noticed a detail that I dunno if anyone got. It comes when you're in Professor Moreau's lab and you find the two missing Megascope crystals before examining the crystals for it or the megascope itself, before you place the two missing crystals in the megascope, Geralt will actually reach into his pocket and pull out the crystal and place it into the megascope. Once the two entries are done, Geralt places them back onto the pillow the other three were on. I think it's a neat detail.
I don't know if you've already mentioned this in a video, but I came across this interesting tidbit. In the quest where you're running with Johnny to get the bottle that will restore his voice, and you pick up that sealed bottle beforehand, the conversation under the cliff will play out differently and it will be mentioned.
Fun fact In my first playthrough I was so committed to the monterslayer quote that I didn't spare a single monster out of all the ones you can spare I also got the worst ending
Thanks xletails another fabulous witcher video Keep it up we just love your work and witcher world ive been in to it from my teenage years until now even bout another pc for my store to play more witcher its just amazing
Brilliant video as always man, truly interesting with the info about Hjort.....thanks for all the excellent content, you are a class act. Hope you and your folks are all well!
also, like Hjort isn't the only one who knows Ciri will die when geralt finds her... The Crones prophesizes that when he sees her, she shall only be an illusion (referring to when the Hym tricks Geralt and probably also dudu transforming into her) and when he finds her, she shall be dead... Same with the Priestesses at Hindersfjall... the ones Yenn interrupt... and so does this druid
@@xLetalis I really wish you and your family all the best. You all don’t deserve problems you can’t do much about. And thank you for still making your amazing videos. And for all the hearts… ❤️ xD
I recently came across a detail which I think has ties to the cut content. In the refugee camp in western Velen, there is a large, unsettling shrine. People have said it resembled Melusine, but in my opinion it looks more like a leshen. What’s really interesting its that next to it is a sign inviting all faithful to what it calls the “Devil’s Plunge”.
I was so happy to see a fresh Witcher video from you xLetalis! I'm always surprised that you can keep finding things about the game this far in, but never disappointed that you do! Thanks!!!😀

I started my second play through of Witcher, and it's quite fascinating how some things are different from my first play through, even though I didn't consciously make a lot of different choices
I do not know if you covered this but I believe that the person in the Missing Brother quest in White Orchard, the Nilgardian. His name is on some of the posters under the hanged ones and it seems like he is an officer that used to order such actions unto the populace. Or maybe I am remembering wrong.
I'm sorry if this has been brought up before or if you've addressed this before, I only recently came across your videos so I haven't been able to watch them all, but one thing I've always wondered about are the stone pillar/arches, one example of can be found at 9:30 in this video. Are they just a reused asset and there's nothing to them whatsoever or has anyone found some significance to them? They have a weird little drawing on them of what looks like a hanged witch or something. They just always puzzled and intrigued me and I figured if anything had been figured out about them this would be the correct place to ask.
Always fun, watching these video's. Its been a while since my last playtrough. Played alot of Elden Ring Bloodborne and Dark Souls the last months. But i think i am ready for the Witcher playtrough 9.
No, that's an older story. The adaptation of the Hungarian-French cartoon was made in 1970. As far as I know, it was also presented in Poland before 1982. But the original tale dates back to the 1600s.
I found out that even if you rescue Moritz Diefenthal, he remains in the cellar of the Kingfisher Inn after all the mages have left. Thanks for all your videos. :)

Finally you are back, really missed your videos 😊
Welcome back glad to see you're doing alright
thank you ;]
I actually ran into the bear on my first play through before escorting Princess through the woods and didn’t even realize I’d done things out of order until my second
I really wish they could comeback and finish all the cut/unfinished storylines, maybe put it as a DLC or something.
I can't wait for xLetalis to still upload Witcher 3 videos when Witcher 4 finally comes out.
0:47 Moment you said that, it is a reference, I got it. But I never linked it together before.
Hahah I came on this page like 2 hours ago to see if there's a new cyberpunk vid before I jump back in.
I come back and there's a new witcher one 😂.
Love this channel and your dedication!
Every time you post a Witcher 3 video it feels like a present! Great job as always, this time I actually missed all of these details 😂
Furthermore, Geralt's story isn't just randomly made up, but it is actually one of the Brothers Grimm Tales.
oh, interesting thought indeed!
Welcome back! Great video as always!
Just finished my 8th playthrough so I understand when you say you cane back haha
My best to you family.
Man, it amazes me how you found hidden details; keep it up.
It is now the year 2077. Exletalis is yet again releasing another new Witcher 3 video about what we missed in the game. I love it 😂
4:09 it would be cool if they wouldn't recognize geralt when he is wearing the consealment kit
oh yeah... :D
I don't know if you've already mentioned this in a video, but I came across this interesting tidbit. In the quest where you're running with Johnny to get the bottle that will restore his voice, and you pick up that sealed bottle beforehand, the conversation under the cliff will play out differently and it will be mentioned.
Good to see you back!
history will remember you xLetalis, as the man who didn't stop playing
Fun fact In my first playthrough I was so committed to the monterslayer quote that I didn't spare a single monster out of all the ones you can spare I also got the worst ending
Thanks xletails another fabulous witcher video
Keep it up we just love your work and witcher world ive been in to it from my teenage years until now even bout another pc for my store to play more witcher its just amazing
Brilliant video as always man, truly interesting with the info about Hjort.....thanks for all the excellent content, you are a class act. Hope you and your folks are all well!
8 years since the premiere and I'm still discovering new things, how is it possible that someone created something so detailed
also, like Hjort isn't the only one who knows Ciri will die when geralt finds her...
NO Way there is still stuff in this game dude! I love it!!!
Also did you found the developer's dog in Toussaint?
@@hex-ai hm I don't think so... where is it?
At Coronata Vineyard@@xLetalis
Is there a way I can send you a photo@@xLetalis
I‘m glad that you returned once again. I hope that means that your family is doing better again too. ^^
about the same really
@@xLetalis I really wish you and your family all the best. You all don’t deserve problems you can’t do much about. And thank you for still making your amazing videos. And for all the hearts… ❤️ xD
Thank you
I recently came across a detail which I think has ties to the cut content.
Thanks!!!😀
yet another video with details we have missed... and another, and another and another.... i love it!
Wow this guy really won’t run out of things ever will he
Thank you so much for continuing this series!! Always a blast!
How many hours of the Witcher 3 has this man played at this point
a little over 2300
i would love to see you start a new 4 to 5 years journey on the baldure's gate 3 game it has a richh lore countless hours and weeks or mounths even of watch time to keep you busy and bring something new to the channel
Your dedication to Witcher 3 is amazing. Partly because of you, I will do a 3rd run of the Witcher 3 with mods like Brothers in Arms for extra previously cut content.
I started my second play through of Witcher, and it's quite fascinating how some things are different from my first play through, even though I didn't consciously make a lot of different choices
awesome that you after all these years & all your effort still find something new in TW3
I do not know if you covered this but I believe that the person in the Missing Brother quest in White Orchard, the Nilgardian. His name is on some of the posters under the hanged ones and it seems like he is an officer that used to order such actions unto the populace. Or maybe I am remembering wrong.
Good to have you back !!
I love that you play relevant videos with triss as the fox.
They just always puzzled and intrigued me and I figured if anything had been figured out about them this would be the correct place to ask.
it would seem like they are a reused asset, I believe I've shown the drawing in a video at some point, it really is a hanged witch
Im so glad u posted another video since u hadnt in a while
3:49 I completely missed how you need to get a A38 permit :'D. Now that is a reference I didn't think I'd see in a videogame
Always fun, watching these video's. Its been a while since my last playtrough. Played alot of Elden Ring Bloodborne and Dark Souls the last months. But i think i am ready for the Witcher playtrough 9.
Always a delight. I'm just surprised this time that we didn't see Ciri being sold
Geralt's story may be a reference to the Polish film Teddy Bear (1981) where a cat (disguised as a hare) escaped from hunters and dogs onto a tree.
No, that's an older story. The adaptation of the Hungarian-French cartoon was made in 1970. As far as I know, it was also presented in Poland before 1982. But the original tale dates back to the 1600s.
And we're back.
One of the reasons why this is the best game for me is your videos, thank you so much
9:04 coincidentally, I was watching a Lemmino video yesterday that points this out.
I found out that even if you rescue Moritz Diefenthal, he remains in the cellar of the Kingfisher Inn after all the mages have left.
Thanks for all your videos. :)
I think that's a bug, similar to how Keira remains at Kaer Morhen after everyone else leaves
