The real way to rate both of these helmets is to compare them to screen shots (or better yet, the original props) from the movies. RS' helmet is pretty damn accurate as far as I can tell, but yes the visor should probably be more yellow. Wedge's visors do seem more yellow in ANH & ESB though. Another stand-out for me is the mic on the Black Series... it should have a gray stem, not silver, and the button for the sound on the left cheek is apparent on closer inspection. A lot of Rebel Legion members have modded this button, mounting an alternate inside the bottom of the shell, and filling in the space around the button. BTW, all the "face" character helmets were very grungy in all 3 films, not just RotJ.
I'm not a cosplayer, mine just sit on a shelf. so for the massive price difference, just get the hasbro, break out the boot polish, and scuff that baby up if you want it more screen accurate. Also, the child in me loves the lights and sounds in the hasbro pilot helmets 😂
I use the Black series as a base helmet, and apply a more accurate paint job. The rs paint job is what you're paying for on that lid. However I can se inaccuracies in the rs paintjob too. GREAT comparison video.
Just a word of advice. And comment. Good job i decribing both and comparing both. Only thing is i understand ur love for dark look in ur studio but man as u were showing the helmets everything was dark. Plz add more lights. I can say that because i have 30 plus years in tv production and emmys. So plz add a soft box. It would make ur videos way better. Great job none the less.
Got the black series one at GameStop on clearance for $45 lol so I’ll take that but great video! Love them both ! Awesome pieces

If you look at the side of each helmet where the emblem is that's where you can tell there is a size difference between two of them.

Those RS Propmaster ear muffs will flake over time. For the price why can't they use authentic leather?

The biggest difference is the hasbro is ANH and the RS is ROTJ so two completely different helmets

There’s no comparison really..the r/s is accurate the black series isn’t..the r/s is a serious prop the black series is a toy helmet…
