I did these exercises for about 15 mins using a moderate weight to do them. 3 days later and my stomach is still a little sore. I must be outta shape! But I will continue to do them cuz I felt all my abs from doing them! Persistence is key!
cool. just the crunch with weights when weights go in the back i tend to arch my back liitle and am not used to it i have it always flat on the floor or strong so must pay attention this one especially. cheers

Hi mate, just looking for some advice, I am 5'9 154 pounds and am currently on recomp diet, 74g of fat a day, 156g protein, 188g of carbs and 1948 calories a day in total. I am trying to maintain my weight and lower my body fat percentage to around 6% (currently 19%.) My workout is currently four days a week (monday, wednesday, Friday and Saturday) with dumbells only (5kg) I normally do 10 bicep curls x4 sets, 10 lunges x4 sets, 10 pushups x4 sets, 10 shoulder presses x4 sets,, 10 ab crunches x4 sets. I also then do a chest workout for 1 set each at 1 minute a time, which is a reverse wide bench press followed by a lying regular fly and then a regular wide bench press. I also do 12 reps of bicep curls again, 3 sets on each arm. My question is as follows, if I add this AB routine in and do 4 sets on top of my workout that I already do will it get me bigger gains on my abs? All the best.

Nice. So many ab workouts just have lots of bodyweight circuits for abs but forget that the abs are a muscle like any other and need progressive overload to grow and get that "six pack" look....
