When I was in USMC Boot Camp, I remember one of the "games" my DIs like to play was to have us grab our mattresses, and throw them out the window (4th floor) or in the shower room, turn on the water, and we would have to carry our mattress while running clockwise around the sqaudbay until our mattresses were dry.
I completed Army & Navy Boot Camps and today's youth overall I see in these videos are so soft compared to when I went through my boot camps!!! I think that they should be made to go through a para military style type of training for at least two weeks which I call it "Boot Camp Lite"!!! Get up at 0330 every morning, then in the next hour or so get ready to go eat which you get 20 minutes exactly then you go exercise for one hour!!! After that you go back for a personal and personal areas inspection which includes your living areas, footlocker and uniform. Then after that you start learning how to march outside with the rest of your company. Oh I forgot unless you are serious injured then you go and or are taken away to be checked out by a doctor. Just a sample of what you do and more before bathroom & lunch break!!!

They need to hold women to the same standards in the USMC bootcamp. In my opinion men should only be DIs because they're just more intimidating. `
