Also I have to disagree with you saying that god of war 3 tried to redeem kratos. They didn't try to redeem him. They make it clear when kratos wants to not let pandora go because she reminds him of his daughter, but when zeus provokes him, he lets go and rages out. This indicates that kratos wants to do better but is too blinded by rage. When he finally kills zeues, he even says his vengeance has ended and stabbed himself as a final duty to mankind. Going to have to give you some mythology knowledge for Hermes for the sin at 4:42. He is the god of a lot of things from thieves to travelers. One sphere of influence he shares with Apollo is healers. More specifically the travelling paramedic kinds. A primary symbol of paramedics today is the Caduceus which is the staff Hermes himself wields. In my mind it is totally in keeping with myth to have a plague of potentially disease carrying insects swarm out of Hermes after his death as he deals with protecting healers traveling to their duties.
Adding to that Hermes has a lot in common with the egyptian god Thoth, he is even related to magic and sciences and at one point he was the one to escort the dead to hades!
The Hermes insect plague has a very simple explanation He is the Messenger god , sure But he is also the god of plenty other stuff , such as doctors , so whitout doctors , the world is destroyed by plagues
nope he reclaimed godhood when touched the blade of olympus again when he went back in time in God of War II , remenber Zeus tricked Kratos into putting all his godly powers in the blade .
Actually, if we're assuming gameplay reasoning is even somewhat canon, Kratos can only use the wings for a limited amount of time, and falling too far with them will lead to losing all air control and just falling straight down. The only time he can use it for a while is when there is an air current he can ride along (IDK I'm trying to make it make sense). Anyway, I know you said that the Gaming Sins videos are just for fun and jokes, but they really aren't. They (at least the one you used specifically) narrate it like it's an actual critique, there is no joking tone used. Hell, it is one because you even find yourself agreeing at times which wouldn't really happen if it was all meant to be jokes. For example, he asks why did Kratos get mad at Hera for insulting Pandora? Because Kratos isn't in a father/daughter relationship with Pandora, he's projecting the image of Calliope onto Pandora. He sees Calliope in Pandora and wants to protect her because of it. His real daughter may be dead, but Pandora is alive. Remember, Calliope died by Kratos' hand, it was all his fault, really. Now, Kratos is going to get Pandora killed for his revenge, which is exactly why when he has to let her go, he screams in anger at not only the mental struggle he is going through, but he's also angry at himself. Once again, his own selfish desire caused the death of another "little girl". Had he not gone on this whole crusade, she would have lived, at least for longer than she did. That's why he attacks Zeus with renewed vigor because now he HAS to succeed. He just sacrificed the closest thing he had to someone he cared about for it. Contrast this with God of War (2018), where Kratos throws himself into danger constantly for his kid, and has no regard for his own wants or safety, only the safety of his son. That's one of the main changes there. This works nicely with the ending of GOW 3, Kratos realized with his revenge satisfied, that not only does he not feel any better but with no rage clouding his judgment, he can now open his eyes to all the destruction he has caused. Again, in GOW 4, we see Kratos telling Baldur that revenge won't make him feel better, only empty. Or how about when people ask why is Athena helping Kratos kill Zeus? Because she's manipulating him for his own gains, obviously. That's easily seen in the ending. It's not different from how Gaia played Kratos. They used him for their own endgame. Athena wanted Zeus out of the picture because she wanted to take over Olympus and the ultimate power of Hope. That is why she asks for it, so she can now receive the power to kill Gods. When Kratos opts to kill himself instead, she yells at him, and pulls the blade out of his body forcefully and messily. She speaks to him with disgust, as if he is a mere fool that doesn't even know what he's doing. Wherever Athena is in magical Godhood land, it has clearly corrupted her, or at least she is showing her true self as she doesn't have to fear Zeus since she's just a spirit with no fear of death. This is again seen in GOW 4 where Kratos is tormented by her, and she just sits there with a smile on her face as he has to face his past. Once Kratos tells her she has no power over him, both emotionally and physically, she disappears and never comes back for the rest of the game. This is because Kratos is now using the Blades to protect, not destroy. I may have wrote all this but this is all easily understood if you have played the main 4 GOW games.
19:01 Hephestas only agreed to sacrificing Pandora to trick Kratos to fight Kronos who he thought would've died trying to fight him. Kratos even called him out for it when he returned but Hephestas played it off
kratos developing that kinda of relationship with pandora is not him turning good but in In his subconscious mind she reminds him of his daughter so helping her will kinda compensate him killing his daughter
He solved the puzzle of Hera's garden by looking through the eye of the statue with the gem. And Kratos's dead daughter is pretty much at the center of his trauma. It's been that way since the first game so its not trying to be some redemption arc. Him seeing Pandora who has the appearance of a young girl like his daughter would more than likely trigger that trauma. Thats why he goes into dad mode for her so much.
5:53 Kratos was shocked by the betrayal and had visions of his past while falling, you could argue he lost consciousness, 9:21 kratos's family is in Elysium, not in Hades (like you see in Chains of olympus). 20:22 Actually Chronos in greek mythology is literally the impersonification of time, i guess he knows a lot ab time lines and time traveling lol... , 21:00 Hephaestus is a minor god he is the smith of the gods, not the sun or the sea, 21:34 is basically like saying "how can a 2d character know what's below him if he sees the world in a first person perspective" it's true but it's obviously for gameplay sake, 21:57 She rememinded him of her daughter and he was already on the edge of killing Hera, lastly 27:15 GOW novel and games specifically show that Kratos cannot kill himself, no matter how much he tries.
Also 2 sins you've missed: 1. He calls Aphrodite Zeus's daughter, that's wrong. Aphrodite actually was created out of Uranus's (Kratos's Great-Grandfather) d*** after Kronos threw it into the ocean, so they aren't actually siblings in any way. 2. He calls Gaia Kronos's wife. That's wrong, she's his mother.
There's 2 sins that you forgot. I might be late on this but in the Poseidon fight, Kratos never snapped his neck, he gouged his eyes out. Also, in the cutscene before the Hercules fight, He says that Kratos killed Deimos in God of War: Ghost of Sparta. That is wrong. Deimos was killed by Thanatos. Thanatos was killed by Kratos afterwards.
Adding to the flame sin, Hepheasteus mentions all children of Olympus knowing it, implying it's only known to those born as Gods rather then uplifted. Secondly, Zeus is canonically consumed with terror and paranoia after Kratos slew Ares, meaning it's unlikely he would allow Kratos to know about such a powerful item of power.
The only thing i can add to this, is... Gaia's not Kronos' wife. That was Reia. Isn't he more along the line of her son? Also glad for the PoP music near the end.
the reason the kratos doesn't die at the end is because of gow1 ending. athena said "the gods will not allow the one who had performed such service to perish by his own hands"
Gaia is not Cronos wife, secondly Titans have omniscience, which is why Gaia knew Kratos during the Great War. Remember when Kratos died, Titans were in a state of limbo and Gaia alluded to being ever present.
If Zeus didn't order him to open the Pandora's box how the fuck did Zeus assume Kratos can kill Ares and with what Power? And why was he digging the grave to pull Kratos out as if he already knew Kratos will die after getting Pandora box out? Just cuz we don't hear Zeus himself ordering to open the Pandora's box doesn't mean that was the plan
He was born a demigod since he's Zeus' son, but the actual moment he gains his godhood back is when he steals Hades' soul which allows him to use the Hyperion gates which require a soul of a god to use or in other words, you have to be a God to use the gates.
Eww Eww Eww God of War 3 5:50 actually you have to count this sin because icarus wings cant lift kratos up to mount olympus indeed its only possible when an air source that makes him fly up like the one on the chain of balance and the end of scorpius boss fight is available long story short icarus wings only work like parachut that can be lift up when a stong air source is around 6:10 you should count this one too because Athena spent a long time to go the higher plane of existance and find the exact moment and location Kratos was in so it will be around at least a month to do so 7:56 athena sacrificing herself to save zeus then reuniting with Kratos was a part of her plan to control olympus all along aka athena os the actual enemmy in disguise 8:38 athena is a villan she must lie 9:57 Kratos' vengance blinds him he will do whatever it takes to kill zeus for example you say : hey kratos stab yourself and zeus dies he will do so 12:51 Helios is weak now because a titan threw him across olympia talkung about the wrath of the sun i think dartigan havent played the first section where helios was manoovering and shooting powerfull projectiles that could kill you in 2 shots 14:40 well lets see hermes is fast insects are fast 16:36 this lad is trying to make kratos know that he is not damaged and he is strong even with no armor aka hercules is dump +9 sins

2:58 Kratos is a God in GOW 2018 cuz when he impaled himself with the blade of olympus at the end of GOW 3, his god powers that were stored in it returned to his body. You can even see the blade lose its glow as the power returns to his body
27:03 I think Kratos just wanted to release this power because of understanding the fact that Athena have used him for her own purposes. Not because of althruism but to not let her take a power over the world.
21:33 This *IS* from a third person perspective. When Kratos is “using” the stone, he’s looking through the eyes of the statue. The stone is like a VR screen linked to a camera in the eyes of the statue overlooking the garden.
I here about the nemian Cestus so much and I can debunk that, if you look on the bottom of them there ar hooks it’s hard to see but there there, it’s shaped in a way where you can latch on to an edge like that
20:08 well he is the Titan of TIME so him being aware what happens within his Domain AKA TIME so he could have some form of Clairvoyance when it comes to Time would make sense
Ok you are actually right cronus is the god of time sorry I was mistaken, actually chronos is the personification of time he is time itself, while cronus is the god of time
It's established Kratos is a demigod being a child of a god and a mortal but yes technically he became a full god after killing Ares and taking his throne. So technically being called a god or mortal by different mythical beings still works
Zeus not knowing Kratos was using padoras box doesn't seem right. It makes Zeus have negative IQ. How the hell did he think Kratos was going to kill Ares. So I simply can't accept he didn't know
Regarding the Kratos "is a god or not" debacle, we also have to look at it from the perspective of the Olympians. It was stated that in GOW II they never truly accepted him ("But Kratos sat alone on Olympus, shunned by his fellow gods") and even in Ghost of Sparta, where he is THE God of War, the gods never refer to him as such, simply calling him the Ghost of Sparta. Mortals on the other hand, especially in Sparta, respectfully defer to him as "Lord Kratos", the title he actually deserves. And given the reveal that he's actually the son of Zeus, it still makes him qualified to be a god, at least a minor deity since demigods are considered such. In GOW II, other characters refer to him as a fallen god, not mortal. Even in 3, there is a disparity between how the mortals address Kratos and how the Olympians do. It's kinda obvious that calling Kratos a mortal, is their way of refusing to acknowledge him and insulting his strenght and lineage, treating him as beneath them. Also, he did steal the soul of full blooded god in Hades to pass through the Hyperion gate, and considering his power at this point, he's basically surpassed full blooded gods to the point that he's beyond their level and rightfully earned the title of God of War.
Great videos, from both of yall, I saw the original just before you posted yours. How ever, in good hearted fun and love for the games 16:43 Do neither of you see the, basically hooks, underneath the jaws of the lions head. +1 sin 19:50 At the end of GoW2 Kratos brings the titans back at the END of the great war, when Zeus strikes at the titans and misses. Zeus thinks he killed the titans but it was Kratos who brought them to the future +5 sins
24:17 Now that I think about it, when you consider how much Zeus is afraid of betrayal, putting Pandora's box in the flame is the perfect plan to kill anyone who would try to betray him, The only reason someone would go for the box is to get the power to kill a god IE Zeus. So they would either a, walk in to the flame and get obliterated or b, open the box with pandora and realise they were trolled. Maybe thats why Helios trys to lie to Kratos about having to walk into the flame to absorb its power 24:33 This may be a stretch to say but, Since Gaia is the personification of Mother Nature in greek mythology, surely she would have a way to fix natrue
Hermes is the god of medicine thats why everyone got plagued when he died, also when ares died then kratos took the throne of ares and continued the warfare
Technically Kratos was born a god since he’s Zeus’s son but he didn’t know until ghost of Sparta, so he had godly power the whole time just something similar with Atreus; he believed himself to be mortal so he acted mortal until he found out he wasn’t.
I always had a weird fan theory that Athena planned all of the series. She wanted Kratos to open the box so that he can kill the gods and she after "protecting Zeus" can ascend to a higher plane and take over after the gods are gone
correction, kratos became a god after gow 1, lost his godly powers by putting them into the blade and when he died in gow 3 he died as a demigod so in gow 2018 he's not actually a god but a demigod, the reason he killed zeus despite not technically being a god is because he can regain his godly strength when holding the balde of olympus but when he loses it he's mortal that is whay when fighting zeus, he constantly tries to take the blade from kratos' hands
8:31 they show constantly show you that the gods treat humans like Pawns kratos resorts to there tactics to kill the gods, and in the end, he was restored hope to humanity saving it in the process. DING !9:21 hades cant used their souls because they are in Elysium DING !
You could argue that after Hephaestus death it never stopped raining and since hephaestus is the god of fire then now fire can’t exist (besides the flame of Olympus)
LESSGOOOO ZESTY L + RATIO THAT FOOL But fr tho this video was 💣 👌 So just about some sins in the video That scene with Poseidons concubine was to show how heartless Kratos was at this point. There's also an event earlier in the game where Kratos is moving along an edge and is blocked by a civillian, and instead of just throwing him across or something passive, Kratos chooses to knock the dude off the ledge to his death. The devs really want you to know that you're not playing as a good guy in this game The Kratos and Pandora thing wasnt as much as a redemption thing as it is to show that Kratos still has some humanity left, but is delusional and blurs the line between her with his own daughter. Zeus himself calls it out in the pre final battle In that Hephestus scene when it shows all the Pandora statues, I'm not 100% certain so i could be wrong about this but I recall Smithy McGod referring to those as his attempts to recreate Pandora herself, and they're up there because he keeps failing to do so The real sin about Ares in GoW 1 is that Kratos had the souls of Ares trapped in a secret chamber not even Zeus knew about, but nothing ever came of that :P The real sin about the Hercules is that he's called Hercules, his Roman name, and not Heracles, his Greek name Aphrodite would have NO qualms about sleeping with anyone, step bro or bio bro, let alone her nephew The whole time travel thing is super weird, but look at the thing like this : We have this timeline : the titans "lose" the war -> the gods reign supreme and some titans are captured and tormented -> Zeus messes around -> Kratos is born -> Kratos lives his life until the point that the Sisters of Fate decree that he will die by Zeus' hand at the beginning of 2. However, Gaia aids Kratos and brings him to life again. Why didn't the Fates account for that ? Because the Fates only account for the present and future. They believe that what they decree is the final word on the matter. But they failed to account for one thing ; the past. Gaia was helping Kratos from the past. When you kill the sisters and go back in time, Gaia greets you with "We have been expecting you, Spartan". The Sisters overestimated their powers. They may have been above the gods but they are not omnipotent, they only say what will happen and it happens, but they failed to account that Kratos is TOO ANGRY TO DIE and he takes their power of fate and time. Now, it sounds like a timeline was being rewritten but actually, it was playing out linearly, as a normal sequence of events. So it would actually be like this : The titans are fighting the war, Gaia in the past knows they won't win, so she reaches forward in time to Kratos -> the sisters decree that kratos dies at Zeus' hands -> Gaia aids Kratos and revives him, and sets him off to seek the sisters of fate -> Kratos eventually finds the sisters and ends them, effectively gaining control over fate itself -> Kratos tries to kill Zeus but fails, Athena sacrifices herself to save Zeus and dies -> Kratos knows he will need help to take on the combined strength of Olympus, so he goes back in time to the great war and takes the titans with him into the present where GoW 3 happens. We know this was meant to happen because when Zeus speaks of the great war and the cutscene plays, we can see that the titans are surrounded by those same shields we see Kratos create in the final cutscene when he takes them back to the future. Its a bit sloppy but yeahhh thats the timeline. Honestly the real sin in all of this is that Kratos didnt take ALL the titans back with him. Just ... some of them
To be honest Athena does seem sus like you said that she had contacted kratos and told him to get Pandora’s box in the first place which she had told him to do without her fathers permissions and then at the end of the game afterKratos is about to end his life Athena rises him and offers him placement in the domain of gods something Zeus did not approve aswell only to be that later on she becomes wary of Kratos seeing as he’s doing like Ares destroying city’s and then Zeus gets involved and tricks him then later on in the game Athena protects Zeus and obviously ascended only for it to be when she’s seen in God of war 3 she uses Kratos to end Zeus as she wants hope for herself for reasons we still don’t know why to.
I thought icarus' wings just make him glide short distances, not actually making him fly like actual wings. (Not talking about him flying from the underworld to Olympus, there was like some kind of air vent that made him fly)
Hephaestus DID NOT agree to sacrifice pandora for the death of zeus he lied because he thought of a plan of sending kratos to tartarus and getting him killed by cronos to save pandora from dying but when kratos survives he attempts a backup plan of trying to kill kratos by shocking him but that fails again and then RIP hephaestus
When you have it explained as Kratos caring for a little girl he’s been contacting and never met face to face it really sounds creepy like if all the ways to describe it 🤣
I realize now that the gods of olympus arent the villians, they let kratos kill ares so he could have his revenge, but they didnt want a vengeful murderous sparten destroying everything he sees with godly divine powers, kratos as the god of war is was like ares on steroids, the gods didnt want that so zeus came up with a plan to weaken kratos so they could kill him, they didnt need another ares. And then kratos is like "no, not only am I gonna keep killing everyone, im gonna kill the gods too" and then he betrays the titans too in the end even though he promised them olympus. Then again, the titans were messed up and dont really deserve to rule again anyway. Like I get that kratos has a tragic backstory, but seeking revenge never makes you feel any better it just makes you wanna seek more revenge and you spiral like kratos did. Im not saying the gods good, but they are the good guys compared to kratos.

@@lightmohamed5700 I mean gow Ragnarok seemed more like a cinematic masterpiece than a game, like it was great and definitely a worthy contender for goty but yeah I can see why elden ring won and not ragnarok, over all Ragnarok was a pretty good game,I mean the pace of the story is a bit low but everything else is pretty great,I think that it's a tie for me personally between gow 3 and gow Ragnarok, and yes I will wait for future gow games to decide who's the best.
Dude they absolutely tried to redeem him

I think the plague is caused by hermes because he "catch flies of the ass of zues"
The Hermes insect plague has a very simple explanation
He is the Messenger god , sure
But he is also the god of plenty other stuff , such as doctors , so whitout doctors , the world is destroyed by plagues
Regarding Kratos’ Mortal status, he reclaimed « godhood » by absorbing Hades’ Soul (and not by killing Zeus in my opinion)
nope he reclaimed godhood when touched the blade of olympus again when he went back in time in God of War II , remenber Zeus tricked Kratos into putting all his godly powers in the blade .
Side note: Hades soul is still on Kratos in the events of gow 2018 and Ragnarok
Isn't kratos being born a *demigod*
Enough to not address him as mortal
Not a soul read dat
@@theplug4442 Well yeah most people can’t actually read these days so I’m not surprised you’re part of that group
Great argument. W comment.
I really do hope she returns in Ragnoraak. Reoccurring in different realms/areas to mess with Kratos and Loki
Great comment, big W assessment
19:01 Hephestas only agreed to sacrificing Pandora to trick Kratos to fight Kronos who he thought would've died trying to fight him. Kratos even called him out for it when he returned but Hephestas played it off
Dude I love how your content is so diverse, I love it.
Right there's this outrageous chaotic energy he constantly exudes. And im here for it
kratos developing that kinda of relationship with pandora is not him turning good but in In his subconscious mind she reminds him of his daughter so helping her will kinda compensate him killing his daughter
Why raise the labyrinth then? Him getting soft was waaaay too late
@@ExtremeGameplays1 yeah ur right its late but what i meant that what kratos did is acceptable and justified
Elysium is in Hades though.
Underworld, not hades@@ajjtheamazing5615
The "That's what I thought" gets me every time 😂😂 I love your content dude.
Glad you liked it man :D
Also 2 sins you've missed:
@Chandler Burse in all of the versions I know Aphrodite was created out of Uranus' dong
@Chandler Burse in one version maybe
Its actually uranos's testicles
So is Cronos sister
Aphrodite is either Zues' halfaunt or his daughter
Dartigan made many good points so kudos to him, and he didn’t unnecessarily sin the game that many times too
the fact that he even tried is disrespectful to these people. lot of man child vibes i'm getting from these ps4 players
@@MGrey-qb5xz Dude, what are you even talking about?
Nobody cares about him doing that.
8:35 this is a play on words with Athena. She is technically correct, with Zeus ruling there is no power of hope for mankind.
14:42 Some told that happend because hermes is also the god of medicine so a plague was created
I know it was a joke thing at the beginning but the way you said big mistake was low key cool as frigg
the reason the kratos doesn't die at the end is because of gow1 ending. athena said "the gods will not allow the one who had performed such service to perish by his own hands"

Hermes is the god of winds. Without wind, pestilence festers

Also he was the medicine god
Oh so he is the reason why smallpox is dead.
i believe the hera's garden thing is the gem, if he looks into the gem he see what the big statue that has the same gem can see
Gaia is not Cronos wife, secondly Titans have omniscience, which is why Gaia knew Kratos during the Great War. Remember when Kratos died, Titans were in a state of limbo and Gaia alluded to being ever present.
Ok, athena's death causing a drop in everyone's IQ explains alot of stuff in this game 🤣
Also ares was immediately replaced by kratos, i think thats why nothing happened?
The quality of your videos have been amazing bro, keep it up

Well pandora is His niece (hepheastus&aphrodites daughter)
And they are kratos’s sinblings
So kratos and pandora are related
About that whole saving mankind thing I’m pretty sure that Athena was just lying cause she wanted her hope power
16:04 you forgot to mention that KRATOS didn't kill Deimos in the "Handheld game" as he says
thanatos did.
I was hoping to see this when this came out
6:10 it’s thought that in the plane of existence that athena is in , time moves much faster than in like the normal realm that kratos is in
Eww Eww Eww God of War 3
5:50 actually you have to count this sin because icarus wings cant lift kratos up to mount olympus indeed its only possible when an air source that makes him fly up like the one on the chain of balance and the end of scorpius boss fight is available long story short icarus wings only work like parachut that can be lift up when a stong air source is around
6:10 you should count this one too because Athena spent a long time to go the higher plane of existance and find the exact moment and location Kratos was in so it will be around at least a month to do so
7:56 athena sacrificing herself to save zeus then reuniting with Kratos was a part of her plan to control olympus all along aka athena os the actual enemmy in disguise
8:38 athena is a villan she must lie
9:57 Kratos' vengance blinds him he will do whatever it takes to kill zeus for example you say : hey kratos stab yourself and zeus dies he will do so
12:51 Helios is weak now because a titan threw him across olympia talkung about the wrath of the sun i think dartigan havent played the first section where helios was manoovering and shooting powerfull projectiles that could kill you in 2 shots

he cannot use the wings because there is a lot of pressure in the air and the wings might break, he'll fall in both conditions (maybe)
Kratos was supposed to say the power to kill zeus or power to kill the king of the gods
Exactly
Nah man, that line is perfect. It's shows Kratos reminiscing the first time he opened the box. Not every statement has to completely sound and logical
"The timeline fcked andrew tates matrix" 😂😂 good vid man
I always assumed Kratos got his godhood back by seppuku-ing himself on the blade of Olympus, which has his godhood in it

Kratos is gripping the ledge using the sharp points sticking out of the nemean cestus.
When I first started gow 3, I was excited to finish zeus once and for all, when I was near completing gow 3, I forgot zeus even existed I was just focussed on unlocking Pandora's box
15:55 2 sins you missed
1 Demos is kratoses younger brother
2 Kratos did not kill Demos
2:58 Kratos is a God in GOW 2018 cuz when he impaled himself with the blade of olympus at the end of GOW 3, his god powers that were stored in it returned to his body. You can even see the blade lose its glow as the power returns to his body
How could Kratos defeat The Furies and Persephone without the Power of Hope 😅
You just got a like and a subscriber haha; I love your honesty. Also, Kaptain Kuba’ sold reaction to your iceberg video brought me here.

Wait I thought Chronos and Kronus are different gods Chronos is the god of time while kronus is the father of zeus
It was at this moment…..
Great videos, from both of yall, I saw the original just before you posted yours. How ever, in good hearted fun and love for the games
16:43 Do neither of you see the, basically hooks, underneath the jaws of the lions head. +1 sin
19:50 At the end of GoW2 Kratos brings the titans back at the END of the great war, when Zeus strikes at the titans and misses. Zeus thinks he killed the titans but it was Kratos who brought them to the future +5 sins
24:17
Now that I think about it, when you consider how much Zeus is afraid of betrayal, putting Pandora's box in the flame is the perfect plan to kill anyone who would try to betray him, The only reason someone would go for the box is to get the power to kill a god IE Zeus. So they would either a, walk in to the flame and get obliterated or b, open the box with pandora and realise they were trolled. Maybe thats why Helios trys to lie to Kratos about having to walk into the flame to absorb its power
24:33
This may be a stretch to say but, Since Gaia is the personification of Mother Nature in greek mythology, surely she would have a way to fix natrue
Nobody disses god of war 3
Hermes is the god of medicine thats why everyone got plagued when he died, also when ares died then kratos took the throne of ares and continued the warfare
Technically Kratos was born a god since he’s Zeus’s son but he didn’t know until ghost of Sparta, so he had godly power the whole time just something similar with Atreus; he believed himself to be mortal so he acted mortal until he found out he wasn’t.
Let’s wait if he’ll comment now
I always had a weird fan theory that Athena planned all of the series. She wanted Kratos to open the box so that he can kill the gods and she after "protecting Zeus" can ascend to a higher plane and take over after the gods are gone
With the why Kratos didn't know about the Flame of Olympus sins. You gotta temper strength with ignorance.
correction, kratos became a god after gow 1, lost his godly powers by putting them into the blade and when he died in gow 3 he died as a demigod so in gow 2018 he's not actually a god but a demigod, the reason he killed zeus despite not technically being a god is because he can regain his godly strength when holding the balde of olympus but when he loses it he's mortal that is whay when fighting zeus, he constantly tries to take the blade from kratos' hands
Damn that was fast. You be destroying those eww channels with your facts
What if Kratos returns to the Great War where the gods are young?
17:00 it’s showing how far gone Kratos is at this point, doing anything to get to Zeus
LESSGOOOO ZESTY L + RATIO THAT FOOL
But fr tho this video was 💣 👌
So just about some sins in the video
That scene with Poseidons concubine was to show how heartless Kratos was at this point. There's also an event earlier in the game where Kratos is moving along an edge and is blocked by a civillian, and instead of just throwing him across or something passive, Kratos chooses to knock the dude off the ledge to his death. The devs really want you to know that you're not playing as a good guy in this game
The Kratos and Pandora thing wasnt as much as a redemption thing as it is to show that Kratos still has some humanity left, but is delusional and blurs the line between her with his own daughter. Zeus himself calls it out in the pre final battle
In that Hephestus scene when it shows all the Pandora statues, I'm not 100% certain so i could be wrong about this but I recall Smithy McGod referring to those as his attempts to recreate Pandora herself, and they're up there because he keeps failing to do so
The real sin about Ares in GoW 1 is that Kratos had the souls of Ares trapped in a secret chamber not even Zeus knew about, but nothing ever came of that :P
The real sin about the Hercules is that he's called Hercules, his Roman name, and not Heracles, his Greek name
Aphrodite would have NO qualms about sleeping with anyone, step bro or bio bro, let alone her nephew
The whole time travel thing is super weird, but look at the thing like this :
We have this timeline : the titans "lose" the war -> the gods reign supreme and some titans are captured and tormented -> Zeus messes around -> Kratos is born -> Kratos lives his life until the point that the Sisters of Fate decree that he will die by Zeus' hand at the beginning of 2. So it would actually be like this :
The titans are fighting the war, Gaia in the past knows they won't win, so she reaches forward in time to Kratos -> the sisters decree that kratos dies at Zeus' hands -> Gaia aids Kratos and revives him, and sets him off to seek the sisters of fate -> Kratos eventually finds the sisters and ends them, effectively gaining control over fate itself -> Kratos tries to kill Zeus but fails, Athena sacrifices herself to save Zeus and dies -> Kratos knows he will need help to take on the combined strength of Olympus, so he goes back in time to the great war and takes the titans with him into the present where GoW 3 happens.
Just ... some of them
Ayooo chiiiiiill
Hercules is the Greek/Latin name, Heracles is the English translation…
Love your vids dude
should have put at the end that kratos tried to stab athena again even though he knew she's just a ghost lol
20:10 he get's a sin here because he sayd that gaya was Cronos's wife while she's he's mother
24:34 the gods were supposed to be killed and the titans would replace them with each of their elements so the world would not go to shit
God of war 3 = one of the only 10/10 games
I thought icarus' wings just make him glide short distances, not actually making him fly like actual wings. (Not talking about him flying from the underworld to Olympus, there was like some kind of air vent that made him fly)
I think when the titans would defeat the gods they would take the gods places as the ruler of olympus and the world wouldn't be destroyed
nice, a banger to watch with my dino nuggs
Hephaestus DID NOT agree to sacrifice pandora for the death of zeus he lied because he thought of a plan of sending kratos to tartarus and getting him killed by cronos to save pandora from dying but when kratos survives he attempts a backup plan of trying to kill kratos by shocking him but that fails again and then RIP hephaestus
20:13 and it also states in the gow2 manual, that cronos is gaias son.
Very good analysis
They changed to the blades of exile because the blade sod Athena got damaged from the river Styx
bro you gonna a be a big youtuber with more than a million subscribers in the future
18:25 ok so I got the god of war 2 manual, and it says that Aphrodite is Zeus’s daughter, so technically it is step-bro
Dartigan has beef with every game i swear lol
I still think the only actually good point he brought up was using the wings when he fell from from Olympus. like wtf why didn't he do that.
