Hey Joey, interesting subject. Sad to say that I've never felt a bigger divide in this country in my 61 years! Many reasons for it, but what we're really missing is someone at the head of the table - a real Leader - to give everyone a general direction that most people will agree with. Otherwise, the population will be broken off and controlled by various factions, whether it's red or blue, or big media, or billionaire tech bros. It really doesn't feel like the "United States" anymore...more like the "Divided States of America".

The "Elephant" in the room are the "Outside powers" that have been actively dividing our great country from within. This has been going on and forecasted for decades. It's time to hit these guys head on, fight back, and expose them for what and who they are. Don't forget that our founders stated that "We the People" are what our country is all about. Joey, America is a melting pot of different cultures. As patriotic Americans, we need to continue to embrace the melting pot identity and redefine America's priorities of respect and equality. United we stand stronger!
The ignorance and bigotry that is roiling among middle-class Americans seem to be being stoked by entities outside the mainstream. These entities that have this divisive agenda want to weaken and control the middle class. As Americans, we need to focus on these outside interests and come to an understanding of who would profit from the demise of our great nation.

The problem is people surround themselves with people who agree with what they want to hear. It's an echo chamber for rhetoric. If they actually went themselves to see what's actually going on it would be very eye opening. It's hard to avoid this subject right now but as someone who was born and raised in California and has lived in Tennessee for nearly 20 years, I gotta say they're both doing things wrong. One side is weak and the other is full of narcissists. You can't help everyone whether they want it or not to the point of your own demise and you can't tell people that they can't tell you what to do while actively trying to tell everyone else what to do. It's a time we all need to take a step back and reevaluate our lives and the country we want to leave to our children. If we don't snap out of it soon China won't only be making our lunch they'll be eating it too!

NO ONE has brought politics into the discussion... that's a dead end. No RELIGION... No POLITICS period! I just walk away.
People are literally pumped full of 24/7 propaganda. The middle class has disappeared and the wealth gap (rising prices, falling wages) gets worse every day. Dealing mainly in the resources Joey mostly talks about, water along the Colorado River watershed, I'd say conflict is likely in that case. If Nevada's short on water, do you really think they'll willingly release water from the Hoover Dam to Arizona and California if they're drying up and facing death by dehydration? If Nevada and/or Arizona are withholding water in Lake Meade and other reservoirs upstream of that, would Arizona and/or California meekly dry up and die? The answer is No to both. Survival instincts will kick in and water wars will be a likely outcome, especially as there's more demand for water then that watershed can provide. Unless the supply of water in that watershed increases, alternate watersheds can be developed or the demand decreases, conflict over dwindling water is almost inevitable.
Then there's the Middle states siphoning off water to flow East of the Rockies, which Joey himself brought up in some of his videos last year. Will Colorado, Nevada, Arizona and California stand for that when THEIR watershed's already on short supply as it is? Will the Middle America states willingly give up a water source in landlocked states? The answer again is likely no. Again, another point of conflict, which could unite the Colorado Watershed states against a common foe, and draw in their allies in Washington and Oregon. Then again, there's huge chunks of Oregon that are politically opposed to Urban Oregon, who would likely join a red state like Idaho, giving the Middle States access to the Pacific Coast if the Oregon separatist movement gained ground in such turmoil, and turn the lands north and south of that land bridge to the coast into exclaves to each other. Does that divide Northern Oregon in the Portland area and Washington into a separate "Cascadia" nation, leaving the SW to stand alone?
Does that serve as another trigger point for war as the West Coast fights to reclaim that land bridge and make their land territory contiguous? Would the Middle America nation give up Pacific access without a fight in that event? Does Washington State in that case petition to join Canada as a new Province, seeking access to Canadian resources? Does the Portland area of Oregon also make such a petition, or join Washington in a new State and become a province together? That could be the most peaceful solution for the NW as they get separated from US politics and get the considerable Canadian resources, but where does that leave the middle and SW? Do separatist protest joining Canada giving raise to a west coast separatist movement muck like the Canadian Quebecois movement that started in the 70s?
And what happens to California if inland, rural Cali decides to separate from California and stick with the USA or Middle America or go it alone? Does Mexico end up swallowing up any of those broken remnants in that case, in a reclamation of some of their old, historical territory?
That doesn't even address division of military assets.
So many questions and dependencies. So many chances for chaos and conflict.

The Texas Constitution is the only one that can by treaty (with the approval from the Speaker of the House) leave the Union. This will never happen but there is something else Texas can do. It can break itself up into 5 or 6 different states. I doubt this ever happens but Texas is tired of working and paying billions a year to D.C. only to go further into debt with little return from Washington. And, flooding Texas with eligals that the state doesn't have the resources to maintain. Luckily several other states are sending down state police to help do what border petrol should be doing. The aim of the Biden administration is to register as many motor voters as possible and have them vote although they legally can't. Besides, they are already illegally in the Country. Even the State of Nevada is beginning to rethink Joe Biden and his ideology. The left has simply gone off the rails and everyone knows it.

Texas is going to be a wasteland soon, if it's not already. Look on Google Earth. The pictures we see are not current. There are drill points every square mile, across the state of Texas and a few other states. Do we really need all those oil rigs? In the middle of San Diego, on public lands, they are drilling. Near Santa Barbara too. It's been proven that fossil fuels are killing us and the Planet. They know how to make real clean energy now, but the scientist who invented shale extraction has admitted that franking is one of the worst things we can do to this Planet. He says we haven't seen anything yet. He compared his regrets for making the procedure for franking, to how Einstein felt about the H-Bomb that took Hiroshima. No matter what, we have to take care of the only Planet we have. We have to take care of people too! No matter where they are from. Criminals can go back where they came from, but true Christians don't turn their backs on people in need. If our country can spend $200 Billion a year to kill people in wars, we can afford to feed those in need. To think, we just got our first Trillionair, the most Billionairs, and thousands and thousands of Millionaires, and there are still hungry, homeless people out there. This hate and division needs to stop too. I'm so glad I am from Vegas. I was raised with diversity from the start. Vegas has every walk of life there. Thank You for keeping it real. Food for thought. I live in NE Oklahoma just off the state lines of Kansas, Missouri, & Arkansas. Over the last few years at the state lines they’ve installed roundabouts on the county highways that parallel the interstates. Make of it what you will, but when they built them they plumbed the concrete center islands with full utilities & they’re nothing but a curbing around a concrete island.

Joey, the distributions of red or blue aren't by state. None are completely red or blue. Generally, the higher the population density the more blue they are and lower density tend to be red. I don't see any path to states breaking up. Look at the resources. like the Colorado river. If Utah and Arizona decided to stop releasing water, it would be a disaster for those down river. California's agriculture would be devastated! There are millions of these issues that really just can't be easily resolved. I think when it gets right down to it, there's no way that can be worked out. Too much paperwork!!!
While California is the largest producer of food, it's also the largest consumer. Many other states produce a lot of food, so I doubt food supplies would be much of an issue.
It's an interesting topic, and i may be wrong. But i hope not...

I think the key to your comments is in the resource piece of it which is why I began to follow you in the first place. Consider the houses you are walking past as you speak. Those people have tremendous buy-in to preserve the status quo. If you suddenly remove water and those half million dollar plus properties become worthless, THEN the owners will have a real motivation to fight to change the system. Until conditions affect people personally and profoundly, they will not have a reason to take up arms. In addition, our legal system in the U.S. makes it nearly impossible for states to secede so I wouldn't spend too much time worrying about that.

Sadly Caliofrnia has gone down hill the last few years. Two years in a row budget shortfalls. Business & people are leaving in groves. We are highly taxed to death & inflation isn't really going down & our middle class is dying & on life support. Homelessness you can see caravans from one side of the state to the next & some of the citys have been litterally turned into dumps thanks to people poorly running those cities. As for crops we should not be growing a good portion of hte crops we do now especially the ones that rely heavilly on water like almonds & some other crops that simply make no sense in growing here . 95 percent of our water goes to crops & the state gov wants to blame people for the issues when we have a drought . A lot of the laws being passed the last few years are pretty much slowly killing the state.

Joey, Canada is closer to disintegration than United States. I see four or five countries from Canada and the United States breaking into North South strips like Cascadia (BC down to California) Central and Mountain time oil land zones, the Midwest with Ontario and Quebec and the US Eastern and Atlantic time zones as the British colonies with the 13 colonies and then northern boreal forest with the Cree and Inuit peoples including the Canadian Territories and Alaska. That arctic country would likely become part of China or Russia after some time.. The best thing would to maintain the trading and protection block though!
In my East Coast city in what was almost the 14th colony, we have 2 vertical farms in old 1950's office structurers. I bet other cities can do the same as my city spills 1 to 2 million barrels of potable water per day from our reservoir. I feel we can replace California and make jobs here where they should be!. In Halifax, NS, there is a vertical farm that fills30 cargo jets to Europe per month with prepared bagged salads!

A few people are focusing on a few differences. And there are some who are fueling the fire of division and profiting off of the chaos. We have more in common then we have differences. Would states mint their own money? Would laws be so different that we would have borders between states or territories and we'd have to go through checkpoints to travel? We'd have to begin carrying our passports with us to cross a border like between East and West Germany? Or borders would just become closed???? Would the interstate road system be divided and the maintainence of it become the responsibility of the individual territories? What about power distribution systems? Would they stop at territorial lines?

Even Jesus said at Luke 4:5 that human governments belong to Satan....and that is why we are in the mess we are. I live in Texas and here are the facts about our state. The same size as France. We have oil, gas, deep water ports, cattle, agriculture, and power generation; enough to sustain our population. Two major international airlines call Texas home. Texas could stand alone as an independent country, I am not advocating this but it could sustain itself. If this country broke into territories there would be "international" trade between them and, as noted, plenty of disagreements over water. I would hate to see this happen but we are in uncharged waters right now.

Your friends' theory could tear my state, Pennsylvania, apart. The densely populated Southeastern quadrant is blue, but because of the agricultural nature of Lancaster Berks and other semi-rural counties not dark blue. The rest of the state, from the Northeast all the way to Pittsburg, is considered part of the rust belt, although some manufacturing still exists there. Pennsylvania accesses the Atlantic Ocean by the Delaware River ports in and around Philadelphia, the great lakes network via the port of Erie, and the Mississippi River system via Pittsburg and other Ohio River ports. The Southeastern leftists would probably want Philadelphia, Bucks, Montgomery, Chester, Berks and Delaware counties to secede from Pennsylvania and probably merge with New Jersey or Delaware. . . . I'd like to hear about other states that would probably break up, such as Oregon is already talking about. So please reply and keep this discussion going.

As much thought I have given to the subject matter of America becoming divided in territory aspects I don’t think it will become reality. I will use myself as an example. As a proud Texan I would like to believe I/we as a Sovereign independent country would be better off given the current political climate but after deep thought I don’t think it will ever happen to any state. The U.S. government is responsible for so many Americans aspects of life most could not have it stop. What do I mean? I as a Texan would not receive Social Security nor any Veteran benefits along with other benefits that the USA provides. Too many to list. Will people be ok with this? As we know from the American civil war things went from bad to worse during the war. There will be violence and turbulence to come but that is what will make us stronger and more united. There is a movement in independent journalism to change the political culture, and more people are becoming aware of what's happening politically. Many are moving away from states like California, which has contributed to the significant growth of cities like Las Vegas. The problem about a disolution of the union is that the money is on the coasts. Those states currently support the south if you look at the amount that each state both provides in tax revenue, and receives from the feds. I think there are plenty of people on the coasts who would love to keep their money local. Imagine Florida, Texas, Mississippi, Louisiana getting hammered by hurricanes, and there is no federal government to bail them out. I would expect the south and middle america to become 2nd world theocracies within one generation. I mean look at Alabama where an egg is now considered a human. Good luck to them all.

Which is a good thing. It may halt the spending of billions on foreign projects and put our money to work for the American people. We may return to the Constitutional republic of the Founders. @VegasDtech hey Joey, here is the way I see things I'm not old but I'm 50. The way I see it going is not necessarily a breakup into territories but still a united states, resources and availability would depend on how those that control it will handle it.what I mean is this, say for instance a particular state aligns one way and another state aligns another and those states decide they do not want to do commerce with said states, then what? it may not necessarily be red, blue, big brother, big tech, big pharma or whatever it is motivated by, but it may be that one state that controls something may not wish to do commerce with whatever product they have or control. so then what? do they find that same resource elsewhere or do they try to get it by other means, or do they try to steal it etc. The way I see things headed is not so much politically in nature but more of a God thing. if you are a believer and you know then you know. I just see how things are racially, politically and how bad things have become, this is what they want, to make America divided. I for one don't see that happening. I see the USA staying as a whole, however, with that said things will be a bit more pricey, and a bit harder to get, but, you will still be able to get what you need. I believe in being prepared, stock pile stuff thats necessary, food, water, rations, security items, etc. Not everyone will see it this way, but, thats how I see things. Do what is necessary for you and your family, prepare, stockup on items that you think will be valuable to you and your family and you will be fine.

I think I have too much invested in Social Security to want to risk loosing retirement over political division destroying our country. What would happen to the dollar? And being able to just have a good life like we have had. Seems to risky to destroy all that over ideology. Just my thoughts as you asked.

You’re going to loose Social Security anyway by 2035, as the Social Security trust fund will be out of money by then. There are not enough younger generations paying into it to keep it solvent.

Unfortunately its going to be a possibility with the way things are going. Texas looks like will be first to break away.
