Many of you are waiting for a follow-up video, it will take me more time due to how hectic my personal life has become, so much so that I don't find time to ride, let alone make a video. So I'n trying to get it perfected and I am nearing completion. You'll get a new video detailing everything & further changes, as soon as the bike is ready. It is coming, just that it will take me sometime :')
Thank you for the support, keep the blue smoke alive :D

Bro I appreciate your efforts love u from Karnataka ❤
RXG- gerking problem solution please🙏
Even after changing the rotor, if you still feel jerking issue then there could be other issues, Bro. Probably carb has air leak and pulling in more air.
Good Job Bro...

Congratulations, good work.
Thank you :)
Excellent job done ...gears are little hard adjust 14 no.bolt beside neutral light wire so it can shift smoother ...enjoyed a lot
Thank you for the tip, as I have used old OE spring, shifting is great. Occasionally, I still get false neutrals when shifting from 4th to 5th, have to sit with it sometime later, I shall use another washer there so that the ball & spring is under lesser tension, for the shifter drum to rotate bit more easily.
Did u install a same cylinder with izumi piston which was introduce in last video ...share some thoughts on performance of block .
@@सिध्हयोगर्षि Yes, I have installed the exact same block with it's IZUMI piston. I'm very happy with how it performs.

Sir I have 1997 rxg also.
Very impressive!! 🤠
Thank you :)
Bro is your bike on the stock tyre setup...18 inchs ?? With phenix suspensions
Yes, but I have switched back to stock suspension in the back.
Congratulations, what a nice restore
Thank you :)
Bro which middle stand you fix in your rx please share me
Bratty bai.. which disc brake is better Gladiator or pulsar? and where to buy? And also which suspension is best as i feel original suspension a bit hard..
Both are good, Gladi is better and more expensive. Gladi supports RX suspension components so you can have a nice soft ride but Pulsar is bit hard so you need to get softer springs for it.
@@BrattyBiker ok..where to get Gladiator disc? Pls suggest.. i have been searching

What about bore performance could you pls make an seperate video. Because it will very use full for us.
And ping mileage below comment.
Thank you! Yes, will make a seperate video. The bike pulls very well but is underperforming in the top-end as the jetting is not perfect.
I shall get that fixed & let you know how it runs☺️
Congrats bro, please give a future usage review of the ignition kit.
Thank you & Yes definitely!
Nice restoration work 👍. One question What's your take on new goezte cylinder kit as i need one for my rx135..
Thank you! Don't go for Goetze block, it's utter garbage. The ports are horribly mismatched, it will need a lot of corrections by a good tuner. Instead go for a used OE 4TL00 block
What special in rxg?? Any unique specialities?? Than rx100
❤️ Congratulations buddy
Thank you :)
Good job Bharat! Impressed. Sounds more like RX100.
Yes, I recently found that this exhaust was not original, some no-name make installed by the previous owner of the bike. I had it cleaned & electroplated, it sounds good.
An expansion chamber is tbe goal though, it completes & compliments the engine.
@@BrattyBiker no champer doesn't look neat so this exhaust is way better
Depends. I like the look of a proper expansion chamber than the stock exhaust on RX. Will see what I can find.
Rxg is best or 135

Full cost restoration?
Haven't really accounted it but surely above 1 lakh would have been spent totally.
The job you did, is just amazing. Except wiring Instalation work, and disc break instalation work, rest every thing fitting process we can do at home ourself. By seeing your video bro. Big thumbs-up 👍💯🔥😃👌

@@BrattyBiker I also working on my dad's 1986 YAMAHA RX 100 MADE IN JAPAN. Y2 cylinder kit + mikuni Corp 36L00 Japan carburetor. as possible as, I working on the bike myself at home. Let's see how much work, I can do to my bike 😃👍
Very nice! Best wishes for the build!
WOW!!! Great Video Bratty👏👏. i can understand, the amount of effort and patience involved.
you have done really good head start for me and so i have couple of questions for you:
1. The TVS victor rear shocks, were they a direct fit or you had to change the bush?
2. The Cd Dawn headlight looks sweet, does it have the provision for parking bulb too? tried figuring it out in your video but couldn't make out.
3. you must do a video on the chrome plating, the quality of work looks just awesome.
Thanks
Thank you, glad you enjoyed watching it!
1) Yes, you need to change the rubbers present on the mounts, with that from the stock springs. As the shocks are quite tall, you also need to change the top mount to that of the stock springs, to get closer to the stock height. It is still slightly tall but I'm happy with it. You can go the extra mile in making softer & shorter springs if you really need it, but it works great as it is.
2) No, unfortunately there is no provision for a parking lamp on the CD-Dawn reflector. However, you can try Hella H4 reflector & that has a parking lamp provision, it is best used with a Yezdi doom.
3) Thanks, yes the chromeplating is very good. I may make a video on it.
@@BrattyBiker Thanks for replying.
You have upgraded a lot of mods together at the same time, are you finding any performance enhancement with the Indian Electronics digital cdi kit? I am planning on upgrading to it.
Yes, but it's not pinpointed to the allied kit alone. The block is redone completely, TM24 flatslide carb, 5 speed head.etc all play their role in higher performance. The jetting is still off, need to dial it in. But for what it is, I am very happy.
There was a manufacturing defect with the kit I recieved but was an easy fix, also thanks the customer service that they have.
I am using this kit because I wanted better lighting & I can say lighting is just brilliant. It outperforms many modern motorcycles in lighting performance.
@@BrattyBiker I wanted to try 4speed block on my 5 speed bike and faced similar issues like yours, initially i thought were jetting issue but turned out to be timing issue. I am running Indian electronics analog kit and the default marked positions weren't working out for me. Later i realized that 5 speed and 4 speed run different timing, 4 s has 24deg btdc and 5s has 19deg btdc, so i swapped my setup with 4speed head, 4speed plug gap, 4speed magnet coil set, then the jetting came spot on. Then i moved to Indian electronics kit and timed the bike accordingly to find the sweet spot. The Indian Electronics kit's timing was slightly on the advance side.
Actually, i was hearing similar fluttering sound on your bike as i was getting on mine. It would either knock and die or flutter and overheat.
@@chiradip24 Aahaa very cool! Thank you for the info! Can you please share the process on finding the correct timing ?
Keep it up bro.. Hatsoff to ur efforts
Thank you :)
How is the back shock? compare with OE?
Yet to ride it extensively to identify the difference.

Depends. Mine doesn't have any jerking issues even with an aftermarket rotor.
@@BrattyBiker mine is completely stock I mean factory fitted parts is that problem is still there ?
@@vijaysaravanan706 Well, thats something you have to answer lol. If you feel the bike is jerking front and back when deaccelerating then yeah, change the magnet rotor to that of the 135

What type of muffler core your using?
100
Is the core was opened?
No. The exhaust is some unbranded aftermarket unit that I didn't know, after I had it electroplated. The exhaust & the flute is not modified.
What type of carbrator your running
@@dineshdin6985 Please watch the video, you'll get the details :)
Good content, subscribed. I have few questions.
1.What size jets are you running on the tm24? Sounds like its running rich.
2.Why not running autolube?
I am running a similar build. ported 4speed block, altered 4speed head. Currently using pwk 28. Considering switching to tm24 or vm26.
Hello! Thank you!
1. I'm running 20 pilot and 150 mainjet, yes it is running rich, just to be on the safe side.
2. I think premixing is safer and more reliable, reducing a potential failure point on the motorcycle is always a good thing.
TM parts are stupidly expensive...VM parts, nothing OE is available, safe bet is go for an RX King carb, many sellers are importing and selling OE carb in Yamaha box packing.
Hi bro
Beat isnt sound stock rxg's
did any modifications done ?
Yes. Previous owner has changed to an aftermarket silencer, same one which I got cleaned & electroplated. I'm using an OE RX100 flute on it.
Bro rx135 5speed magnut coil set 4speed ku use pannalama with 4speed cdi
No.

@@dineshm5287 Please refer to service manual.
Bro, I hope you don't mind answering these questions -
1. Is the wiring kit provided by SunWin a full wiring kit?
2. Did you buy the analog or digital kit? Does it have a self starter too?
3. You mentioned that you bypassed the connection from CDI to RR unit? Could you please tell me why?
4. Why did you have to replace the original silencer?
5. Where did you buy the seat? I recently bought a seat from Delhi which is of Brooks brand. I was told that Brooks were the OE seat supplier for Yamaha, but I am not happy with the purchase. 😳
1) Yes, full wiring.
2) Digital Dynamic, but without self-start.
3) Bypassed from RR to CDi, basically the RR had a power wire coming to CDi, I routed it to the ignition switch so I can disable ignition with the key, as the previous setup means I could start and run the bike without a key.
4) I did not replace the exhaust, I think it was replaced by the previous owner. I just got it cleaned and electroplated.
5) The seat was a gift from a very good friend of mine. Regarding the seat, just get it made outside with the cushion & fabric of your choice instead of going for readymade ones.
Kudos on the restoration. The bike looks great. Nice attention to detail👍🏻 I assume the moment you took the bike out and rode it was surreal. I’ve been there too😄
Thank you! Yes, first ride was awesome!
Congratulations on your rebuild! The machine looks beautiful! The meter looks cool . Happy riding. Btw , where did you get the Shogun mirrors? Do they have a better visibility?
Thank you! I got the mirrors by luck from an individual seller a long time ago, they are so much better than the stock RX mirrors. I think you can find RXZ or KB mirrors for a much cheaper price & does the job just as well, if not better than these Shogun mirrors.
@@BrattyBiker Thanks . I have an RXG too. I think I'll experiment with the RXZ mirrors for a while. Did you import the Odo or got it through a friend?
Yep, those mirrors are worth it! The speedometer, I had it imported. I'd advice you to have them brought by a friend as hand baggage. The custom duties are nothing short of daylight robbery here.
@@BrattyBiker point noted , thanks 👍🏻
Machu you are vere level 💯🔥
Hatsoff to your tremendous effort.❤️
Thank you bro ❤️
Bro, which bike's mudguard is this?
Frond?
Front Mudguard is from a Kawasaki 4S Champion (KB4S) & is a direct fit on this Pulsar front-end.
It has been electroplated outside for better rust protection & shine.
Is it new port map that has made the exhaust loud or is the muffler altered
I think it is a combination of both the more agressive port maps & an aftermarket exhaust. The flute is a OE RX100 one btw.
@@BrattyBiker it does sound similar to a 100 now
@@amruth8558 Yes, very close. I would still want to get an expansion chamber made as it would greatly compliment the engine.
From Where Did You Get The Box
Adarsh (Tuner's Craft).
Wow Finally! It's worth the wait and I am just amazed and kinda feel jealous at the same. It definitely is the best restoration video I have ever seen. Lot of tasteful mods while keeping it classic. I really liked the meter console and I would like to know more about it. Enjoy the ride and happy Diwali!
Thank you for the kind words! Glad that you enjoyed :)
@@BrattyBiker What caused the frame to bend like that?
I have no idea. The bike was involved in an accident, a month before teardown, that could have been the cause although I wasn't able to notice the bend during disassembly. It could also be mishandling from painter's side as the chassis was there for almost 5 full months & he was very disorganized. However I do not want to accuse him of anything without knowing what happened, anyways now that it is sorted.

Is the clutch bell stock 71/22?
No, it has been changed to that of the 135 (74/19).
@@BrattyBiker Which clutch bell works great on a Rx135.
@@antonysadasivam355 Stock bell is best. G bell is good for drag builds.
What springs did you use for the front shocks? Are Gladiator's springs a direct fit?
No, Gladi springs won't work. This is a custom made spring that is softer, but directly fits on Pulsar forks.
@@BrattyBiker OK got it. Where can we get it made? Are there any special shops that do that?
Yes, Premier Springs, One Mr.Prem : 9444959312
You need to get the stock springs to him, as he will need to know thickness, length, material type, strength.etc before he can make a customised one for you.

Sir my bike RXG.
Best video youtube for any 2stroke/RX lover. You won the hearts with the dedication and love for your bike.
Beautiful restoration detailed. Looks and different parts of the bike has characterised it so well. Great job with wiring and the carb! Speedo is outstanding and the indicator stalks (are they from scrap or new part available for RD350?) with metal than rubber gives the bike a better look. I think the best headlight for your bike is the Yezdi Roadking stock one (Autopal make HL-102), which gives a perfect beam.
Ignition kit is amazing and the coil wiring issue you explained was expected, however quality seems very good. Wiring is not easy, so well done bro. Finally about the carb, is it working well??
Thank you for the kind words!
These Indicator stalks are made by one Mr.Tyson, a member of the Madras Yamaha 2T Club, they can be made for 100 or Z's indicators. Yes, these do look better & are a lot stronger as well, no rattles either.
I think I am going to stick to the CD Dawn setup, as I am too lazy to redo the wiring all over again 🤣
But lighting is incredible, I am very happy with how it's performing, the spread & beam distance is amazing.
In the future, if I ever decide to change the headlight housing, I shall consider this!
Yes, wiring was not that easy but once experienced even with stock wiring, we can get it done ourselves actually.
Thankfully, yes, the carb is working very well, no problems!
@@BrattyBiker Really good to know this. Thanks for sharing!! If i ever ride to Chennai, will definitely try to meet up. Please keep up the fantastic work. Now we can see more rides and frequent videos.
@@k-trailblazer Definitely!
@@BrattyBiker Do the stalks have flex in them? I learnt from one Mr. Sriram on forums that a little flex in them prevents them from breaking when they are hit.
@@mjshaheed This one doesn't flex as it is of metal. Yes, he is right, little flex does help them but the problem is that the rubber is of not that good quality, it hardens and cracks off anyways.
