Impressive riding! I like riding Raccoon Mnt. but I've never ridden it at "race pace". I've considered riding in one of the Go Nuts races just to see if I could do it but my fitness level is bottomed out right now. What division/class do you compete in?
Thanks! I tell people if they've never done an enduro to ride one and don't "race". Just make getting thru the day clean the goal. They are a lot of fun, but usually a big day out on the bike. I race the 50+ Expert class. Sometimes we have a decent class and sometimes, like this past weekend, we don't. All good either way. Thanks for watching!
They failed miserably making some of those trails part of the race. You can make high voltage 2 stages to be honest. And what the hell was electric Ave doing on there? That’s basically an XC trail. Way too much climbing to be called an Enduro race. But what I really wanna know is what was that 1st stage? I don’t think I ever rode that trail…those huge rock features looked really fun especially with the big drops. Hope you have a great time.
You know I thought this years stages was much better than last years! High voltage was 2 stages, long ones too. They were great! Electric avenue is just thrown in because you have to go that way anyways. It's fine. Stage 1 was a line thru chunky. We raced a similar line thru there 2 years ago. It's really good but short. He added lower chunky into live wire 1 this year and that was great! Really long stage! Man, I had a great time!
@@shaneridesmtb live wire is super fun probably my fav there and upper high voltage. That would have gassed the hell out of me. I didn’t realize until watching the whole video that high voltage was spilt into 2 stages. That was a smart idea.
Great ride! I did the race as well and had a lot of fun. I took it easy at the wet stages and got comfortable at stage 5 and 6.
Thanks! Raccoon is a super fun place and given the storms, the race was pretty good huh?

What was the first trail you did? The one with all of the rocks
I don’t think it has a name. It’s a line thru the “chunky” freeride section. Not far from the overlook

It was a physical race, 3 stages over 6 minutes each.
