Do you happen to have any information on that collet puller where to buy one? It looks like it pulls the collet off easier that some off the other pullers.

Your video is good overall, but I really think you should cover the problem of getting the ferrule off and properly tightening the new valve. The ferrule can be really tough to get off, even with a puller. I once mushroomed the end of the pipe trying to get the ferrule off with a puller. For that reason, I like the small hacksaw cut method. If you have a lot of ferrules to get off then, the puller is probably the way to go. The other thing is how to tighten the valve nut and new ferrule after prep. I did what I thought was correct according to the manufacturer's instructions. Didn't want to tighten it too tight, but then again not enough. I went with a half turn or so by marking the nut with a sharpie. I was so concerned that it might pop off and flood my home that I called my favorite plumber to verify that I installed it right. He said that I did it the way he would have done it. Maybe I'm overthinking this, but when you've gone through water damage in your home that cost around $10K to fix, you want absolute confidence. I did a second one, but had to tighten it about 3/4 turn to get it to stop leaking. Anyway, I could probably write a book on these compression angle stop valves.

This is what I hate about plumbing! The pipes coming out of the wall are always loose & moving around, but you have to use 2 tools in a tight space & pray you don't break or bend your pipes just trying to change that angle stop. All of mine need to be changed. I did one under the kitchen sink & bent the copper tubing. It took every bit of strength I had 😂 to get it loose & still had to call a plumber. I asked him what I did wrong, & he said I was too strong lolololol. I would rather shovel horse manure than do plumbing. Why anyone would make it this hard just stumps me, except to make money of course. And, I agree, your neighbor has a lot of problems with plumbing. Like me 😁

Don't really need that angle stop tool. It's something else to carry around. I just snap my vice grips on the valve and turn the nut with my crescent wrench.
