The TWO Rod Combos I Use Most In Bass Fishing!
HTML-код

- With ALL the different rod types I've fished with over the years, I've caught a ton of bass and learned a lot about why each rod combo is useful. But these TWO rod combos have been most beneficial to me as a bass angler over the past few years, so in this video I walk you through what those two are and WHY I use them so much! Whether I'm pond fishing, kayak fishing, or bass boat fishing, I have these two rods rigged up pretty much every time I go fishing. Tyler I doubt you ever do fan fish along but I know you got to be within 40 minutes of me I got a couple ponds for your 100 pond challenge
The knowledge I gain from this channel is unbeatable! Awesome to see you figure out what the bite was! It was on fire after that walking bait came out! Something I will definitely give a shot. Thanks for always putting out top quality content Tyler. GOD bless!
Thanks for the great comment!
That app has been a huge teacher and saved me from getting skunked all the time. I check it every time before I wet a line and it not only teaches what “should” be happening but, what could also be going on
21K till 400k! Let's get the most informational, consistent, and high-quality fishing channel out there what he deserves!
We’ll get there before we know it! Thanks for the kind words
I learn so much from you man, keep up the good work and never give up
I appreciate that!
That 1st fish was a cool looking spot... it had a bronze tint like a smallmouth or like a shoal bass. Great video as always keepem coming brother!!!
That definitely looks exactly like a smallmouth and not a spotted!!! That first fish
100%
Definitely looks like a small mouth
Wild! I had no idea they were in there
I think it was a Shoal Bass not a smallie
Hey Tyler Love your fishing videos, was wondering if you could do a budget video on finesse spinning combos Possibly in the future would be very helpful to many new anglers on a budget.
I have that 6'10" combo rod it's t great rod for the drop shot. Thanks Tyler 👍🏻
Love my NFNT fishing shirts 😎
You should do a video series of breaking down and fishing the DFW metroplex area lakes
Can’t let the home town secrets out, sorry!
@@TylersReelFishingno wayyyy! Please break down Lake Fork for the fall season!
You should try the rapala crush city clean up craw on a texas rig. Its killer in the midwest. I caught my PB on it, a 3 and a half lb largie (not a huge fish but for only starting bass fishing in the early spring I think its good)
You were fishing braid? A leader? What lb.test? Great video, Thanks
Great video and information thank you ps I wish I way about to buy the spinning combo that you are showing
Man I fish that lake all the time
Medium-Heavy Mod-fast action casting rod.
Medium-Light Fast action spinning rod. (2500-300 size reel)
This is what I use 90% of the time.
Tyler, can you do a video on the KVD 1.5 Deep Diver Squarebill? Haven’t seen much on this lure. Looks interesting.
It’s not a good lure, I believe strike king is taking it out of production
Can we get a bass catch and cook? (Next time you cull some fish)
I know you don't want to share the exact location but were you fishing in TX or MN? The leaf color suggests Fall but might be due to dry conditions. Also, being height challenged, (5,5), I found I have had more casting control with a shorter rod.
I love your vids bro
Thanks Garrett!
Let's Goooooo keep teaching bro
Always!
Please teach how to “thread” the z too on the drop shot! Thank you!
Search “TylersReelFishing drop shot”. My masterclass with a ton of views shows how
Y’all have a good day
You too!
@@TylersReelFishing thank you
Have you fished Oak Lake in Kurten, about 20min out from CS.
Tyler! Gotta ask can i get the link to the pink line? That you used on the first rod? Thanks !
It’s a prototype
I have 3 fishing rods. Which would you use for a drop shot 5 6' light spinner, 7ft med spinner 7ft med baitcaster
Definitely 7’ med spinning
very well could have been a hybrid lmb and smallie
Bro I love youre video! Did you go to wall’s fishing pond in dunn, nc?
I have not
I can't fish without at least two combos. I need to do my research on bass species because i thought that spotted bass was 100% a smallmouth... There's a chance I have never caught a smallie now
There’s also a chance I was wrong about the stocking history of this lake. It could’ve been a smallmouth
@@TylersReelFishingmy buddy told me about an app that helps identify fish. I'll probably download it next time i travel and get the chance to fish.
Have a good day
Btw, have you ever had your fishing stuff stolen?
I have not luckily
goat💯
What rod and reel were you using at the start of the vid and the specs?
Linked in the video description. Unless you mean the walking bait rod, and that was the (I think discontinued) Lew’s custom speed stick 6’9” MH squarebill rod
Yay!!!
Love the content Tyler keep up the good work! I just made my first youtube video and im hoping it does well! You've been a massive inspiration for me! I hope to be as cool and big as you one day!
Love all your content but dude that was definitely a small mouth
What does “threading it” mean?

Ill never understand why some people use right handed bait casters and left handed spinning reels... I dont care what your preference is just be consistent 😂
Because that's how most were taught. Also baitcasters are the only reels that use the left and right hand. I also think the name makes people use the version of how they write.
@nathanbillingsley42 nah buddy spinning reel handles can be swapped to both sides on the vast majority of them
Does it even matter? For me, a left handed spinning set up feels better for the lures I throw on it. Same with right handed baitcasters
@brettferrill9305 Yes, but have you ever seen a "right-handed" or "left-handed" spinning reel. Nope, just a spinning reel because they can be easily changed, unlike a baitcaster. When talking left and right handed i was talking baitcasters buddy.
@nathanbillingsley42 lol sounded like you were saying baitcasters are the only one with a choice. Bottom line- if you're right hand dominant then hold the rod in your right hand and reel with your left, opposite for land hand dominant people. People that cast with right hand then switch rod to their left hand then continue reeling with their right hand look awkward.

My "dropshot" is a wacky rig lol
A good one!
I’m surprised you didn’t leave your boat on the other side of the lake. 😂
LOL
Hey now
@@TylersReelFishing 😂😂
Hello
That fish looked like a small mouth
I just don’t think this lake has any haha! I could be wrong though
You just said it my brother, infinite love of God, let’s hear some more praise about him in Jesus name☝️☝️
Amen!
Shoal Bass? Didn't look like a spot
Sorry but that sir was a smallmouth. the top water hit throws me off a little.
