Fuckin brilliant comment, I ve 2 beddy lurchers that do this, luckily it's heavily forest where I go so the deer get away but the dogs gain on them so fast .You can get locked up for this shit if they catch em, wouldn't like to see it personally, nasty .
Dean Nakoa salukui bull gray. also had a collie gray x saluki bull gray a bit bigger for youre coyotes and more stay plus collie helps for the nose not that we have them in the uk just fox and everything is banned so its just a network of poachers with permision0
I'm in love with this dog. I believe he's a lurcher. Lurchers add up to the best of both worlds. What a beautiful animal !!!! Long-styled and muscular. Would anyone know to tell me which crossbreed this video dog is resulting from? Another question: A lurcher, greyhound (or other sighthound) cross and pit bull, can you be a good watchdog?
I have a saluki whippet bull greyhound cross hes only 14weeks and coming on really well. Hes fine out and about with strangers but if anyone lingers around the back garden too long he goes nuts. He also refuses to sleep if my missus and kid are home whilst im at work, he then sleeps as soon as i get in like hes clocked off his security job lol. So to answer your question hes not a bad guard but ive heard that most lurchers are just too person friendly to be guard dogs.
This is why I don't like the bull x breeds. They lack that kick off speed and by time dog was in full flight deer was 150 yards away then was too much to make up.
Thanks Roger Parker! I'm not criticizing the particular cross but it's noticeable that the deer put some YARDS between itself and that dog. For some reason they don't see what we see. They think that this dog performed well.
That dog is trash as most UK coursing dogs are. How did he leave the deer escape and the speed was mediocre. You honestly would've done better with an Afghan Hound raised from a puppy OR an Irish Wolfhound which are far more suitable against deer than Greyhounds. Expert coursers know you're not supposed to hunt deer with a single Greyhound because deer are known to stand and fight them off. Plus, Greyhounds retreat quickly as this one almost did. 2 Greyhounds are to be used on deer. This mutt never had any potential.
Our Irish Wolfhounds run pretty damn good over here in the USA, so long as they're PROPERLY exercised. I don't know what the HELL is up with those slow dogs over in European location. You don't properly exercise your dogs and that answers their poor performance. Here is an AMERICAN Irish Wolfhound compared to the dog in this video. ruclips.net/video/aTkMehy645M/видео.html
Just a suggestion. You and your dog should look for magic mushrooms. That looks like a perfect place for them. Holy cow he's fast. What kind of dog is that?
Cameraman been eating good by the sound of it
They didn’t have camera phones in 2001 😂 great vid by the way 👍🏻
Tugging one out while filming by sounds of it 🤣🤣
For all who are still wondering what mix this dog is... this dog is half Rhodesian Ridgeback & half American Pit Bull Terrier.
No I'd say he's a bull lurcher, same pattern as mine down he's back, mines red pit cross greyhound
😂😂😂😂 seen some shit comments on RUclips but yours tops it
Sorry bro bull greyhound clearly
did you not see the “Bull x” on caption
It's not all about the speed of the dog or the lung capacity of the struggling poacher. It's about getting out-there and 'Being'.
That is one fast dog
Instead of pressing delete you've somehow accidentally put this on you tube instead. That's a minute or so of my life I'll never get back.

Funny as nice dog mate
Nice dog mate! Is he a straight bullxgrey f1?
The bullwhip breed is the best hybrid speed dog I ever seen . I'm gonna make these for coyote hunting
Dean Nakoa salukui bull gray. also had a collie gray x saluki bull gray a bit bigger for youre coyotes and more stay plus collie helps for the nose not that we have them in the uk just fox and everything is banned so its just a network of poachers with permision0
Behave. Anything with bull in is shit. Slow and plodders.
You already have coyote hounds over there,a bull/whippet won't be any good.
Bull slows them down. Theyre shite m8. For coyotes greyhoind x saluki woild be better. Soeed. Stamina and aggression.
@@rogerparker9228 salukis not really up for a fight with a coyote, some maybe but not many,it's like a 40 pound fox.
Watch with volume down 😱

Magnificent missile of a dog
Being so unfit, made you lose your dog 🤣🤣
Mate I'd love to see you keeping up with a lurcher after a deer, tube.
@@thomaskearns4318 Wouldn't even try...
Fast dog!
And like a torpedo
What’s worse your dogs pase or your breathing 😂😂
😂🤣😂🤣why didn’t you try shout it
Because in England people don't get a gun that easily
Because it would scare there chases away duhh
Lydia Goldsborough so would rather lose the dog? Seems a bit backwards
Colin S you don’t lose the dog the dog comes back after killing the animal or chasing it
Lydia Goldsborough what if the fella ran completely the wrong way.
No adrenaline beats a flat out deer chase .. check my channel out for more coursing and hunting
That Dog wouldn't catch a Deer in a Phonebox.

When it comes to bull crosses, is it always staffies that are involved or do some people use bull terriers?
Best breed for off the mark speed is saluki or whippet nimble thin and fast
@@Velasca Pitbulls usually,a bigger dog than staffies.

It's a cross but ALL trash.
Bullshit deer don't fight back they mite kick a bit but that's nowt wen they gettin stuck be throat
