As an African American I admire Native American Culture and how Native Americans preserve it. Holding onto what our ancestors teachings and traditions are so important. Native America keep on shining cause you're beautiful honorable and Great in all that you do!

I'm Blackfoot on my father's side. I was adopted, so I never really had the chance to explore my culture growing up, so I always felt like a part of me was missing. I recently got connected with my biological family and I finally feel complete. I am so excited to learn more about my people, my family and our traditions.
I once met three generations (grandfather, son, grandson) in a bar. As I was walking past the father (little tipsy) grabbed my hand. His son apologized. I laughed & said "if you can't be tipsy in a bar where should you be". I complimented a coin purse that was on their table. The son interpreted for grandfather (holy man/medicine man who wanted to speak to me. 1st & only question was "do you have dreams when sleeping & when awake?" I immediately understood the question. This Holy man explained to me what my family, my priest, Jung could not. I must make my way back to Black Foot/Montana before I transition from this earth.
A century and a half ago, we lakotas, nakotas, dakotas, were at war with these tribes, blackfeet, crow, and others, that is history, we need to be all one tribe, let the conflicts of the past stay there, we must be natives, we all share to much to have old divisions stand between us. Yeah that's exactly where the cause of all problems laid down. People still can't get over those things and yet live with that grudge in their hearts for so many generations. The west took that as their advantages and still do. Hope oneday the people unite as one.
"I hope this anger is gone now, and my young generations can attend a crow fair, and a blackfeet powwow today." As long as Marxists exist on all reservations, agitating social divisions by opening up old and irrelevant wounds, the anger will continue. I agree. That's why Native Americans are at the bottom of everything in American society because we still hold onto 1700s tribal warfare. It's ridiculous how we're only 2% of the population, yet the poorest ethnic group. We should be the most powerful and wealthiest due to our small numbers, also to the massive amount of resources America has to offer. What's another issue as well is what's going on in the black community, with a lot of them hijacking our culture. Ever since the black community has brought back that Bering Strait theory, even more white americans are starting to go with it as well by saying oh you guys are immigrants as well, you're really from asia. It's time for us natives to really start closing our inner circles with the masses of the black and white communities. Quit inviting them to our ceremonies, stop having kids with them, native american activists need to stop drawing parallels with between Native and black issues, start teaching our kids that most non native groups don't support nor really care for native struggles, there's a whole list of things we need to get done. But other than that blessings to my native american communities.

I'm native. i have recently researched about various other tribes of the subcontinent and i was totally amazed by what i have witnessed so far. I find a traditional and cultural resemblance among other minor tribes of the world such as in Siberia, Switzerland, Mongolia, Myanmar, Thailand, china and the northeast part of India. Though I might have missed out some other part as well but I believe a brief research on our genealogy may perhaps work as a medium of bridge to connect with our roots and our ancestors.

I’m 36 & when I almost was hitting 30 I found out about my great grandma being adopted. Now… something wasn’t right about it. I found 3 different birth years for her & the years were around the timing of those “boarding schools” I’m pretty sure that’s were she came from. Slowly finding things out.. they say she was left in a woven basket on a church step as a newborn.. I don’t believe it for a second because they said “church”.. natives didn’t go to church! & I don’t know about you but I highly doubt they would put her on a “white church step” thank you for this video. Can’t wait to see the percentage of my bloodline. As a kid I use to pretend I was Native American before knowing I have some native heritage,
I thank the tribes for choosing to mix it may have not kept the bloodline pure but it kept my ancestors safe. ASE

AWESOME, A BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE!
I was blessed back in 1999 to be invited to the sweater like Lakota 16 poor sweet life that they changed my life. I prayed to the creator that the Indian will forever show themselves as they are dance sing prey, in the traditional way.
I am mostly Irish and Canadian. I have b;ackfoot roots on the Canadian side. One thing that I feel is missing in my American lifestyle is a personal purpose. A reason for you.
Beautiful people and culture
Beautiful
Native Americans would shove long sharpened poles through small children, hold them over a fire, and laugh historically at the screams and cry's of those children.
Afterwards, they would eat those children.

* white people are constantly bashed for the questionable things they did, but we're never supposed to bash any other race, for the evil stuff they've done.
* white people are the heroes of this planet.

Wow they are so beautiful and full of life
Dancing is beautiful, the Dancers are most beautiful for they dance for those that cannot dance anymore, they remember for those that do not, or cannot remember, it is very selfless! Racism has no place here!
My great grandmother was full blooded Southern Piegan Black Foot Indian. I only have 30% so a little over a quarter in me. When I was young I would go to Pow WoWs but because I take more after my mom’s side with having more fair skin complexion I always felt like an outsider. My cousins who were either half or looked more indigenous than me would stick up for me a lot. I am learning more about my heritage and would love to visit a Black Foot Pow Wow. It’s sad that some still want to divide us. Like our enemy used to be the Crow but that happened so long ago, it shouldn’t matter anymore. We are one Nation now, no matter what tribe we fall into, we are still one people. Oki *(Hello) if you’re reading this! What tribe do you come from? And do you know any native words? I love learning everyone’s native language. *( Oki, tsiikohtaahi’tsihp amohk aohkanoo’p means Hello, I’m very happy we’ve all gathered here in my native tongue) now you try!
I'm Ojiwa Indian and proud of it
Thank you so much!
I read somewhere that the Blackfeet Nation were once the most feared nation of all including the Comanche, the Apache, the Cherokee & the Cree.
My grandad was blackfoot indian and lived in Oklahoma but his family lived in the reservations tho

Doesn’t a feather represent an enemy you killed? How they get all them feathers?
They killed more of one another than any white man.
Murdered and enslaved.

I wonder, I met and fell in love with a Blackfoot girl in Great Falls Montana in 1979. Her name was Connie Finley. I lost touch with her as it was a very long distance relationship. Does any one from the Blackfoot Nation know if she is still alive? And if so where she is now?
Kind of rude to be posting her personal info on the internet. She deserves privacy you know
Just google her name, age, and the last place you remember her living. She's probably listed on one of those white pages sites that tracks people.
I’m BlackFeet also…🙏🏼✝️❤️🤗💜
I'm so mixed an diluted 😢I feel lost
Does anyone know Who "Yellow Crow" was???
Help me please!
Beautiful!..
Amazing!
There’s Blackfoot land in Montana?
The land is just east of Glacier Park. At one time they controlled the land north of the Yellowstone river and east of the Rockies.

Funny how my grandmother on my mom side and my father mother are black foot Indian and we are black 🤔 I believe that your people are from Alaska and it's up to us to take back our heritage
Your grandma wasn’t told her full history. When they brought Africans here, over time they started integrating with natives and having mixed children. None the less if you were able to trace your lineage it would originate in Africa.
THANK YOU FINALY SUM REAL BLACKFEET THAT AINT BLACK PEOPLE PRETENDING
