- Best viewed in 60 fps. This is a 4p hack for the main story mode. I'm player 1, MrMario is player 2, GalaxiaShadow is player 3 and Mark is player 4. This hack is not completely free of bugs. Notably, players 3 and 4 aren't present in stage 5-1.

Finally someone got up to do this, always wondered why Hudson didn't did this if 4 players was totally possible to do in battle mode

Is it possible to change the color of 3rd and 4th player, the same color on their Battle Mode?
I think I originally tried that and it messed up some other graphics. There could be a way around that problem, but I don't know much about how the graphics work on SNES.

Can you make 8 players available in Super bomberman 3 battle mode? It is still good if players 6-8 can only be controlled by the computer.
I think there are other available colors in this game, including yellow (from golden bomberman), pink (this one is design for Pretty bomber), a weird color and the dead color.
Moreover, is there any way to set the items in Super bomberman 3 (like Maniac mode in Super bomberman 5) using PAR codes?
There is a big difference between hacking an already 4p game to have 4p in story mode, compared with adding extra players to battle mode, when it normally only goes up to 5. While that could be done in theory, I'm pretty sure it's beyond my capabilities. I don't think I could easily do the other thing you suggested either.

I asked the 8-player hack because I see there is a 5-player hack of Super bomberman 2 and there is a 8-player SNES game (Nintendo does not support it officially).
I like the Super bomberman series a lot. I think they are the best official bomberman games.
I hope more useful hacks will be released in the future that can make these games better.

I could do that relatively soon. It would still have the same flaws seen here, though.

Player 1 should start the game first, and second player needs to press the start button after the first stage starts, even though he's already in the game. The biggest problems with this hack is that at stage 5, the computer players take over the third and fourth players. This also messes up the power ups they had after the stage ends. If I recall, all 4 players get the accelerator power up when any player gets it. Also, at the final boss, all 4 players get the power glove when it's picked up.

It's in the ips format, so you would need to use LunarIPS to patch a regular rom of the game. Unless you are playing online, I would suggest using the emulator BSNES with overclock turned on.
I didn't know you did hacks, I thought you were just a video creator, you got +1 subscriber, I love the Bomberman franchise, could you do it with the others? especially 4? which is what I love most, I became your fan!
Generally, I stick with making minor adjustments to games, but I had done this, a Bomberman 2 NES Co-op hack, and a 60fps hack for Double Dragon 2 on NES, as well as a few other things. I am fairly limited in my knowledge on how to actually mess with these games, so I wouldn't necessarily be able to do 4p hacks on the other games, although I would definitely like to.
I actually had done some work on Super Bomberman 4, but I hadn't been able to figure out something related to the graphics, so when the extra players were on screen, either the bad guy graphics got messed up, or the other player animations didn't look right. There definitely is a way around that, but I'm not sure that I would be able to figure it out. I should add that it can take a lot of time to mess around with the game, which is part of the reason why I hadn't looked into it for a little while.

It's easier said than done. I will eventually do another one if I am able to.

This guy had done some work on a 2p hack, but it doesn't seem that he intends on making the whole game playable in 2p. I had looked into it myself a little, but didn't get much of anywhere. I do think that a full 2p hack will be made at some point in the future, though.
