The Ninja Turtle games, Castlevania, Contra, Sunset Riders, Rocket Knight Adventure, Metal Gear Solid, Yugioh, and Suikoden's I & II. If you get to him without losing a single life on first run he uses 5 knives, and uses 4 knives if you only lose one life. The game genuinely gets harder the better you are. A bit like parodius and other Konami games.
Also, El Greco doesn't say "Die, gringo!" and there is no Ninja Turtles poster at the second boss. Not sure if the Arcade Archives version has any other changes.
This game gets me amped up to get 3 of my besties together, go buy 300 million rounds, and hit the streets in the 1860's. I want western movie THIS over the top! 😫
@@trev1976 The standard version doesn't have a netplay feature. There are other options, such as MAMEHub, Retroarch or Parsec, but I prefer MAME++ for netplay, for the games it works with, like this one. There are newer versions of MAME++ like 0.134 but nothing that matches a recent regular MAME version like 0.222. ++ 0.119 is the easiest one to find a download for.

Nope. There's a hit ratio in every boss fight, meaning that whoever hits the boss the most gets the reward at the end. But you are right about them not sharing the bounty so... Yeah, there's that, at least.
I don't consider it to be a good idea to purposely throw a game in most circumstances. Besides, for me to do that would require not attacking the boss as much, which would also make the battles drag on longer, and potentially cost more lives.

How were you able to play with 4 people online?
I used MAME++ for that. There are other ways to do that, like using Parsec, but that is not my first choice.

As player 1, you are forced to use Steve, but you can still choose a different player number. The 2 player version has a real character select.
