- 1237hp twinturbo chevy bigblock powered Skiboat playing around in Dalarna county in sweden. made couple of 100++ knots runs, best run caught on gps was 112knots/129mph.

I came here to see and hear the boat and the engine, if I want to listen to music I turn on the stereo. Could have been an awesome video.
It's a boat, not a car. Even if you would place a high end microphone next to engine all you could hear is wind noise and crackling from the mic.
It's not same as recording a video from inside the car.
Also filmed with Go Pros. That a re know for poor audio quality, so what? You want to hear wind? Cool🤔 Go ahead. Seach wind noices from RUclips.

By those speeds you won't hear it anyway. Source I have a boat with just 30 hp and the wind is the only thing you hear at 55 km/h. Imagine going 4 times faster jesus fucking Christ!

That's part of the thrill of riding in an awesome boat like that. Not to mention the V-Drive right under your butts and the u-joints in the driveshaft that connects the 572c.i. Chevy to the V-Drive, it's all part of the thrill!

It's funny after a certain speed you can't even hear the motor all you hear is wind. There has to be a way to mount a mic to catch the motor sounds with no wind noise.

What's the appeal of jet drive over a propeller? That motor with a prop would be so much faster and more efficient wouldn't it?
A prop is more efficient at lower speeds but a jet has a lot less drag in the water and actually gets more efficient at higher speeds

@@H43339 be that as it may, a turbo spins at around 100,000 rpm. I dont think water droplets hitting the compressor is good. Ive had turbos fail because of tiny oil drops hit the compressor.
All I saw was free water injection and steam cleaned pistons. 👌😎

Filters on the turbos you’ll hydro lock that motor so fast
The boat would have to be in 4foot chop or under water to get enough water in there to hydro lock water that does get in could potentially damage the turbos tho
