    The Valenti and Foster show has been a part of my day for YEARS, and when Terry came back I could tell that he wasn't the same. I really am proud of Terry for putting himself and family 1st, even though it means the "Black Caucus" won't be in session anymore. I'll still be listening Mike V, and Terry...THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU'VE GIVEN US OVER THE YEARS....GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY!!!!!!!

      Couldn't agree more George Jackson with what you said. I have been a listener since 2009. God Bless Terry and I hope he lives a great life after this.

    It breaks my heart, but Terry is a Family Man and I cannot blame him at All. I feel very sad for Mike. It's going to be hard at first, but I'll still be by Mike/Sully/Hachet/Roberto crew and unless that crumbles, I'll still be tuning in.

    I don't know why I am emotional about this. I can only assume it's because I listened from the begining. Even though I lived out of state for a few years, I still tried to catch the show as often as possible. I don't know Terry personally but weirdly it feels that a family member has moved far away. I wish all the best to you and your family sir. I hope you know how much joy you have brought to us over the last 13 years. We will miss you dearly!!

    I've been an avid listener since the Sports Inferno days. I've lived in multiple cities across the country in the last decade and I've found myself to always come back to listen to this show above anything else. There was simply no sports talk radio show like Valenti and Foster anywhere. Thanks for the entertainment and memories Terry. Be well.

    I work at 97.1 and have for the last 14 months and have been a fan of this single show for years. It was heartbreaking being in the office hearing the news and then hearing Mike's show talk about the legacy those two have made on the city. It still isn't easy not seeing T walking around the studio, bringing his smile and incredible wisdom to the station. There will never be another Terry Foster on the air.

    They have a lot of "um" songs by Roberto, but Mike has the same issue

    • @contramundum2.0paradigmshi10
      @contramundum2.0paradigmshi10 4 года назад +3

      Huh?? Roberto is the most REAL and entertaining/engaging person on the show (besides Mike), ironic since he doesn't get much air-time (but for songs and trivia games). Sully and David don't add ANYTHING on the mic. Mike has needed a legit co-host for a good while now, he has ratings but he's the only game in town. The COVID-19/racial upheaval/no sports time period has exposed all his flaming liberal leanings and despite what he thinks he his, he's VERY thin skinned and won't tolerate opposing views.

You guys have been a part of my day for the past 11 years and even on your off days or vacation days the show is just not the same unless its you and Mike. You guys were Magic together. Magic!!! I know Mike will continue to do a great job and whoever they choose to sit across from him will be good too, but I just don't think what you 2 have will ever be put on sports radio every again in my lifetime. Good Luck Terry. Good Luck Mike. I hope to meet you 2 one day

    Fast forward T Fos says he felt like an outsider at his return. I don’t blame the guys. That is more an internal feeling once gone.
    I get it because I was the first of my friends to leave the D. Coming home, no longer knowing the inside jokes to the razzing each other, the continuances of stories regarding the dating hijinx, etc.
    Years later I was long hauling and when I returned home after 8 years, I had decided my best friend needs a major shift in his direction for myself to remain as open to hang out. I was enabling a dark path that my return was not improving him.
    Bros grow apart. It is sad.
    Mis TFos on the show. Hell they could add him back in and it would probably be great today still. Just have him in as a contributor like Lang was.
