Hi Leo, Thanks for the vid. I do indeed like the sounds and the small form factor of this unit. Just curious, is there a power switch on the lt, or is it the sort that turns on when a cable is inserted?
With the normal version you can send balanced out to a mixer and simultaniously unbalanced out to an amp or poweramp and speakers. That’s a big difference with the LT version.
PS: from my comment below: I see you did a comparison between the original Valeton GP-200 & the Nux Mg-30; thank you! I would tend to lean towards the MG-30, but I’m not a fan of built-in expression pedals. I do like the quick access buttons on the Valeton and Nux units, and wish the Ampero 2 and the HX Stomp had something similar. And I think it’s odd that Valeton did not include an on-off switch on the 200LT.
Interesting. I have the HX Stomp, MG-30, Ampero and GP-100 and I prefer the GP-100 tones :). At least all four of these are all metal construction which is important when a drunk falls on your gear with a full pint. (Happened :). Humans and our differences and similarities :) Best Regards!

Can I ask... Is it possible to use eg x2 delays and x2 reverbs in the same 11 slot effect block? Does the unit have a reverse delay / glitch delay and a reverse reverb? For ambient patches. Do you have a link to all of the units effects/amps/cabs? I can't see this full list info on the Valeton GP 200LT Web page. Many thanks again.
You are welcome and thank you for the comparison suggestion. 1) no, it is not possible to use more effects of the same type (I said it in the description of the pedal) 2) In the GP 200 user manual, I found a "rev echo" described in this way: "Producing a special delay effect with reversed feedback" 3) you can check out the user manual of the regular GP 200. So far and as far as I know, the amps/effects/cab are the same Thank you once more.

Hi Thiago, as far as I know snapshots / scenes are not yet available in the GP 200. It is not possible to use the same effect block many times in the chain. Thank you!

Hmm, im wondering, the website seems to say that the LT's firmware is starting at 1.0.4, i wonder if they need to bring in the features of the GP200 into it with an update, and thats why we dont see the movable FX Loop.
@@LeoGibsonGtr Have a look at the GP200's latest software/firmware/manual, we now have 2 arrows in the screen and on the software that allow you to move the FX Loop anywhere in the chain, this is on 1.2.1 firmware and 1.1.0 software for the GP200. I dont see those arrows in any of the reviews that Andertons or your self have done, which has me wondering if these brand new units were sent to you with slightly older firmware or, the GP200LT does not have this feature like the GP200. On a side note, i would love to see a comparison between the GP200 vs the NUX MG400. Thanks for the content Leo! You rock!

I don't get the same clarity with SLP using the the built-in greenback cabinet (UK GRN 1) as you do with your own Greenback IR. It sounds either muffled or brittle - whatever I plug it into - Laney AH-150 PA amp, Boss Micro Cube auxiliary, headphones, home hi-fi. Is this normal? The built-in cabs just aren't very good?
Hi, I have not tried its own cab....I have a Marshall MR1974CX cabinet, that is the one that I have used in order to create the IRs....Therefore, I'm sorry, I can't speak from direct experience with the built in cab.

Hi, Valeton is kind of a subsidiary of Ampero...the algorithms are basically the same...The Valeton is just a bit limited in terms of tone customisation...for instance you can not place the mic over the cab (as far as I remember) but the position is fixed, where (on the other hand) it offers more footswitches....therefore choose what is more useful for you. For instance: do you need the 4 foot switches ?

Well, I didn't do anything special. For instance I recorded the Comping Soldano just connecting the unit to my Mac via a USB cable, and as you may notice, the Soldano is set to noon with all the knobs... Thank for your message!
Nice review. I bought gp20lt , a nice little multi effect. Updated to newest firmware. I can't see effect loop on chain. I can switch effect loop on and off on preset settings but Can't move to different location on effect chain like is on gp200. This is only available on gp200? Or I missing something
And effect section has a weaker point on this unit. I hope Valeton will fix this in nearest future, also independent volume control for outs will be great option
Hi, the effect loop is after the amp block. This is what it is written in the user manual: "SEND/RETURN node is after AMP module, and is moved with AMP module" Thank you!

Hi, in the "more sound section" you hear the raw tracks I have recorded at the same time a DI track and the Soldano via the USB out of the GP 200LT. Then I have re-amped the DI tracks in order to record the Mesa and the Friedman Thank you!

It's not the same, of course, but these Jack output are balanced here, and both can enable/disable cab emulation, which is good

Well, I didn't do anything special. For instance I recorded the Comping Soldano just connecting the unit to my Mac via a USB cable, and as you may notice, the Soldano is set to noon with all the knobs...

Nice review. I bought gp20lt , a nice little multi effect.
Updated to newest firmware. I can't see effect loop on chain. I can switch effect loop on and off on preset settings but Can't move to different location on effect chain like is on gp200. This is only available on gp200? Or I missing something
And effect section has a weaker point on this unit.
I hope Valeton will fix this in nearest future, also independent volume control for outs will be great option
Hi, the effect loop is after the amp block. This is what it is written in the user manual: "SEND/RETURN node is after AMP module, and is moved with AMP module"

@@LeoGibsonGtr thanks. Yes I know that but recent new firmware update on gp200 allow to freely move effect block without amp , and there is two arrow on effect chain corresponding to the effect loop. I thought gp200 and 200lt share the same engine with few less outs and less foot swiches. But it's looks like no. All the best from UK

I have recorded at the same time a DI track and the Soldano via the USB out of the GP 200LT. Then I have re-amped the DI tracks in order to record the Mesa and the Friedman
