@@wee-senchoo7025i don’t think so, they’re totally saving that big reveal of the new ride system for last. You could say that since each announcement is 2 months away, then that means that the last announcement would come out during September, but we know that the length between each announcement has decreased each time, so I’m guessing the Dark Universe announcement will come next sometime in mid to late June.
I just had a thought..... yearly HHN i would think Dark Universe would Light up bigger when this yearly event happens

The whole point is that you're on "Team Mario" battling against Bowser and his goons, so it wouldn't make sense for guests to be on the villain's team. Probably a Nintendo call.
29:04 What’s funny is that this is specifically a Hollywood issue, whereas the Osaka park hasn’t had these technical problems, which I think is due to poor upkeep of Hollywood’s Super Nintendo World.
The sight lines are poor, lots of exposed animatronic parts especially on the second floor, damaged props, seams in the set dressing, and dirty walking paths/peeling paint. All of these issues aren’t the case in Japan because the general upkeep of the park is better. The broken Band scanners on Mario Kart are no different.
Maybe it’s just a difference in customs or practices between regions? Who knows.
I hope Epic Universe doesn’t have the same maintenance issues Hollywood’s been facing, since it’s near identical to the Japan original in design and functionality.
osaka has a litany of issues in Super nintendo world, from breaking moving set pieces, Mario ride being down, yoshi ride not working, literally having to stop people from being in the SNW itself, half the park is walled off for DK delayed ride. Been 3 times to immense disjoy 2/3 of the times, in general it is a weak Universal Park IMO.
If they don’t have Rosalina as a meetable character it would be a huge missed opportunity IMO, considering the space theme of the park as a whole.
I was kinda thrilled to see that Daisy was acknowledged with a power up band.
I feel like only the characters on the front of the portal are gonna have any meaningful representation
Except I would want Rosalina to be a face character, and that certainly is never happening.

You have to remember that the vast majority of guests that will visit Epic won't be Nintendo nerds. At least half of the guests won't even know who Rosalina is.

You mentioned how you don’t like saying when there are elevators because it’s assumed, but as an Ada person who kinda specializes in Ada often, I would still love to know where they are planned to go, as often elevators are placed in ways that make it’s so in a wheelchair (which I am) miss out on notable parts of an experience. Sounds wonderful that that doesn’t seem to be the case here
I could certainly mention them more in future updates. When the land was first under construction it was easier to see the elevator shafts so we talked about them more regularly.

To add an additional comment, I've always been worried the DK coaster will be pretty kiddy due to the single cars and unique track. I've still got my hopes up though. It's my most anticipated ride.
I definitely think that Toadstool Café should have been enlarged for the Florida version of Super Nintendo Land. Sure, there is a LOT of dining options in Epic Universe (especially in Celestial Park), but everyone wants to eat inside Super Nintendo World, not outside. I think Universal should have taken a few pages out of the Fastasy Springs playbook at Tokyo Disneyland, which is doing themed dining properly. There is a massive amount of seating inside the Arendelle castle, and a large amount of space inside the Snuggly Duckling, and a lot of space at the Loookout Cookout.
Great podcast as always. I hope they get to keep the starfall racers name.

I know it hasn’t opened yet, but I’m really excited to hear that there are plans for a Zelda themed area in the future. Pokémon has also been speculated, but I would REALLY like to see a Metroid area!
Totally agree about the rumored Zelda land, Metroid would be fun too but do you think it has enough brand power/ recognition to be built? I just can’t see people walking in without knowing the basics
Halloween 2025...we're coming from Maine! I've been longing for a theme park honoring the Classic Universal Monsters since I can remember. As a kid growing up, I was obsessed with them. I dressed as Dracula, Frankenstein and the Werewolf every Halloween as I grew up. I used to peruse TV Guide trying to find if and when the movies were being played, making sure I didn't miss them. Every now and then our local movie theater would have a "Monster Movie Marathon" and my friends and I would hunker down for 4 hours of Monster Movie fun. Throughout the years I've collected all of the movies on VHS, then DVD, and now we have all of the movies on Blu-ray. Finally, as I reach my 60th birthday, my dreams have been realized!
What the what? Had to pause and briefly search Starfall trademark and it's education foundation?!? not sure if that is the trademark that is in opposition to Starfall racers but if I were an education foundation shouldn't it be StarRise. Falling in education, not good but 🤷♀️

Agree with Ian, would be cool to see Mario tech and how's it going, but not excited to ride the attraction, but Donkey cart would be cool！ Wow! Nintendo was supposed to be the first to be announced! make sense, cuz we already knew the content
This episode has shed some light on things....maybe universal is NOT SO PERFECT...there are definitely lessens to be learned and improvements to be made.

Boarding Groups and Reservations are a bad idea overall. The whole point of Standby is to balance supply and demand; people will only join a line that they are willing to wait in. And when people are in one line, they aren't in another. Boarding Groups and Reservations essentially means that people are in two places at one time, which reduces capacity and steals space from people who are willing to wait. Ever since Disneyland switched to paid Lightnitg Lane, wait times for attractions have skyrocketed. Why? It's not because there are more people in the parks; it's because those people aren't waiting in a line.

I’m hoping that because Epic Universe will have multiple new lands that it won’t be as bad as the Mario lands at the other parks where capacity is such an issue. Orlando can spread those crowds out a little more.
Super Nintendo world Is coming in Orlando Florida at Epic Universe they will have characters at Nintendo world of Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, and Toad.
I will always call it Moon Pie.

I actually think the power up band situation makes sense because they know these are mostly targeted at kids. Parents probably don’t want to create an email and a Universal account for each of their kids. Unless you can only link one band to your account.. Then that’s a different story
I didn't know about the power band account thing, it's definitely dumb of Universal to not allow your account to transfer or switch different bands. People would probably buy the whole collection if they allowed it.
Furthermore, I hope Universal atsp dose allow it and also do special band with different characters like fire, Ice, or kitty Mario, Pauline and Rosalina with half the band shimmery, and a Luigi's Mansion theme one
