Hikaku Uchiha destroyed the Hyuga Clan during the warring states period. Hikaku Uchiha was a the greatest genious of the Uchiha clan and the most talented Uchiha of all time. He was a master of Sharingan Genjutsu, fire stlyle, water style, and taijutsu. Hikaku Uchiha possessed the Mangekyou Sharingan, and he used it to fight against a Hyuga Army during the warring states period. It was on that day Hikaku Uchiha became known as the solo king. Tetsu Hyuga, the leader of Hyuga was massacred.
This is one of Hikaku's deeds during the Naruto Warring States Period. Unfortunately Hikaku doesn't have much screen time in Naruto Shippuden, but his presence can be felt. He is the reason why the Hyuga Clan has so few members when the Leaf Village was founded.

@@SuperOmegaBerserkerimagine thinking that beating an army of unnamed Hyugas is a big feat when Madara and Hashirama were literally reshaping landscapes and handling bijuus, who were stated to be country level weapons, like small toys with ease. Madara handled united shinobi alliance of 5 Great nations plus 5 kage while toying with them, if he was serious he would've went straight to perfect susanoo and just nuke everyone in an instant
Edit: did you even watch the video it literally states that it was 50+ Hyugas - basically a battalion. Not sure where you got thousands from and even then 3rd raikage managed to do that against 10k shinobi for 3 straight days with no backup before dying and we know the gap between 3rd raikage and Madara (heaven and earth)
Fun fact: Kishimoto stated that if a Hyūga and an Uchiha had a baby, then they would have 1 Sharingan and 1 Byakugan in each eye.
That was most likely a fun answer to an interview, not a fact.

Or what if they had a Byaku-Sharingan. It does what the name implies, a byakugan and a sharingan in one. Imagine if you awakened it, and it becomes Eternal Tensei-Mangekyo Sharingan. Or better yet, the Rinne-Tenseigan. I mean it's probably just my head cannon, but it sounds awesome

It's easy to build up Uchihas to be OP, a real challenge would've been to write an OP Hyuga who could defeat MS wielders.
@@deepv3.12 Actually the hyuga have tons of potential, with their gentle fist they can easily be able to slice jutsu in half, Them having the ability to disable chakra to the person the touched before whenever they need to, Even being able to cut through the susano'o And having them their chakra natures into their gentle fist, lighting style in gentle fist, fire style gentle fist, etc. They have the potential but kishimoto for some reason just likes the Uchiha over the hyuga.

if I remember right, he stated that the Uchiha's roots/origin lies with the Hyuga. (Byakugan) it was later revealed that the Sharingan is a "mutation"/awakening of Hagoromo's Byakugan. (Hamura awakened the Tenseigan)
