- It might not quite have caused the stir the E-type did at the Geneva Show in 1961, but the Jaguar F-Type is undoubtedly one of the stars of Paris 2012. Having teased us with the CX-16 concept this time last year, Jaguar has finally unveiled the production reality and it's missing a roof. Although a coupe will follow, for now the F-type's only available as a roadster with a choice of three supercharged engines.

Love the direction Jaguar is taking. Didn't really like the old designs but I like all the new ones.
I can't wait to see how the coupe is. And rumor has it, it'll be offered with a six speed manual. Heaven.

This car is everything. If they just take the XJ back to the series III style, I'd be forever in love... I'd also like the S type, but that might be asking too much... Lol
Good. I was very concerned when an Indian company bought JLR and thought well thats it then. But they have really turned the 2 brands right around and are now making some of the most desirable cars on the market. I would take a hardtop F-Type with a 6 speed over any Porsche.

I'm liking this new style, but I think this design DNA is very F-type specific. Repeating this on other models may not bode so well.
I love american muscle cars with all my heart but something about jags and maserati makes me go nuts

Also 488Hp with 5.0 and a supercharger is pretty weak
Jaguar really seemed like the company that was really enthusiast inspired, but after years of just producing though great cars, gave them automatic gearboxes. I feel that in that sense they've lost side with what a driver wants and moved onto what consumers want. That's business I guess. Same goes for Mercedes and soon BMW...
I like how manual transmissions are disappearing.(welcome to the 21th century)
