Dogs are so pure. To think that they can be in such horrible situations but most of them end up loving humans again after being rescued. They have no capacity for malice or grudges.

Jennifer was very very brave that must be hard knowing you dont have the knowledge or time to help train a dog out of severe seperation anxiety and knowing that the best thing you can do for the dog you love is to give him up to an expert thats a hard to do. I'm just glad there was an organization that was able to help simba. The sam goes for Julie that was heartbreaking.

Poor Roxy, I want to give her a hug. She definitely needs some gentle hands to touch her for the first time in her life. It blows me away how the UK takes care of stray and abused dogs. In the states, most of these dogs would be put down. I wish there were more shelters that took care of these dogs. The "Humane" society in St. Louis tells you if you have to surrender an animal that they will not give you any updates about the animal and they reserve the right to euthanize for anything including health and behavior. They just put nothing into rehabilitating an animal. This show proves that even dogs left for dead ignored by the people that should have taken care of him, does not mean they are worthless.

OOOH YEEESS 👍🏼😌❤️!!!!!!!! Animals are SOOO MUUUCH BETTER 'humans' as 'human' beings are!!!!!!!! They are not that..., that..., let me find some words...: SELFISH, NAUGHTY, EGOISTIC, CAPITALISTIC or even GREEDY (I mean, EXCEPT Food,, sometimes - or especially TREATS, perhaps 😜😏😅...?!? ) , that people are - they are just right THERE with us, they wanted to BE LOVED and just wanted to be TREATED FAIR, generally ❤️😌❤️, so I think, we OWE THEM fairness, love, affection, our attention. AND, AND, AND ..!!!!!!!!!!!! So, if we human beings even are NOT ABLE to treat EACH OTHER in a fair way, if even THAT seems NOT possible for us(...) so we should, MUST, HAVE TO(!!!) even look MORE CLOSER to the animals and pets and treat THEM really as GOOD & LOOOVELY as just possible 😍❤️😍...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you have problems with people that you know that aren't good people the first thing you need to look at it is what your behavior is or you're underlying therapeutic problems that you are attracting a psychopathic type of person. You can explore that with any good therapist and I suggest you get into therapy and look at the science behind why some people have antisocial behavior traits. Good luck to you I'm sure you're a good person but I think you need to do more study on antisocial personality disorders

They didn't tell you the half of it. The dogs are bludgeoned to death in view of each other IF they are lucky. Otherwise they are boiled alive or even blow torched, because it 'makes the meat taste better' Every year there is a Dog Meat Festival called Yulin, and every year millions of us protest about it. Dog Meat is eaten in China and Vietnam as well, although I think Vietnam May have outlawed it. China keeps trying but there is so much money to be made it all gets very corrupt and it never really stops. Wet Markets. The place where they reckon both AIDs SARs and Covid started are another abomination. All manner of animals, from endangered tigers to reptiles, stuck in cages together, terrified, peeing on each other All so some rich B* can brag he ate a tiger penis! Look up HSI (Humane Society International, the people featured here) but be prepared if you watch any of their footage. You will Never forget it. But it will make you realise that it Isn't an urban myth, it happens Every day, to some poor defenceless animal. And We need to make it stop. People who have No idea, say 'Oh, well, we eat livestock, why shouldn't they eat dog?' Because we have standards. Some would say inadequate, but standards just the same. They have None.

I love this programme due to my love of animals. I definitely could not do this job. I most likely would end up in jail for assault. Seeing the state of many of these pets rescued breaks my heart, I find myself screaming at the television. I despise two things immensely, abuse on defenseless children & animals. I know my temper, I wouldn't be able to hold back my fury at the way some people treat these helpless souls. Seriously, I did not realise that there were so many simple simon types, horrific, selfish people that still exist in a world where they must think that open sewers still exist. Even though we know that there are laws to protect animals as in their rights & their welfare, it's as though these people that hoard animals & keep them locked in disgusting conditions, continue to act out their distorted existence.
Apologies for the ramble. I do appreciate the hard job that you guys do & I am immensely grateful for the positive stories of the rescued animals. It's inspiring to be shown the follow up of as many rescued plus being able to get to know the officers also softens me to the harrowing job that each person faces on a daily basis.High fives to every person who works in that system, a huge hip hip hooray to the volunteers also!

I wonder if any of these professionals have ever seen a Canadian Eskimo Dog a.k,a, Arctic Inuit Sled Dog? They are related to the Greenland Dogs. In fact they share DNA. These dogs have to be in Northern areas and be handled, to protect from become overheated or suffer heatstroke. They are actually working dogs and have been known to pull Inuit Sleds 3 times their weight and travel 75 miles per day. Their breed is estimated to be a few thousands years old. I will tell you that their exercise needs are very, very great. You can't give them a toy or anything else to keep them occupied. They need interaction and lots of exercise. They tolerate freezing temperatures because they are Arctic dogs.
Our family actually adopted one of a pair of CEDs given to my sister's friend from a Baffin Island breeder for her birthday. She could only handle one with her home situation. We lived out in the counry on several acres of land , surrounding by fields, farms, and forests. We adopted Mandy, the female. as a puppy. We found a specialty veternarian who was familiar with this breed. He was her veternarian for her entire life and she saw him at least twice a year for check ups. Every member of our large family had to take turns exercising her , and I don't mean taking her for a walk. She could do backward flips approx. 5 feet in the air. She howled, instead of barked.
She had two dense fur coats and she would start to get overheated within two hours of being indoors for family celebrations and to get her stocking and presents on Christmas. We had to keep her outside with her own customized large dog house , but she preferred the snow. We had six months of winter conditions living on Lake Ontario. We had to hose her down when it became warmer. During the summer months she would swim back and forth in our cove of Lake Ontario, where we had our summer cottage in order to stay cool. She also loved boat rides. She lived to almost 16 years.of age.
This breed of dog is the only breed of dog that we would ever allow to stay outside during our very cold winters, because she was an Arctic dog. We had rake her two coats of dense fur. I think that keeping any other breed of dog outside during the cold and winter weather is abuse.

Oh, my heart BREAKS with Julie...!!!!!!!!! Why don't do her family and friends HELP HER OUT, so that she could KEEP her dogs...!?! I'm I'll myself: 44 years old and I have even THREE serious chronic diseases, but sooo many GREAT people around me are HELPING me, so our ❤ 'Ares' ❤ CAN STAY with me...!!! I'm always thinking about HOW I perhaps could have done something for Julie 😔😪❤; I wish her JUST THE BEEEST 😘🤗😘...!!!!!!!!!!!! And, HOPEFULLY, good/better friends/neighbors/family etc. who would HELP HER and wouldn't better 'LETTING HER GO DOWN THE PATH EVEN FURTHER' -I think, that people could
clearly about what their friend (FRIEND!!!) Julie NEEDS MOST and THEN taking matters in THEIR hands - WHAT'S necessary TO HELP HER ❤️🤗❤️...?! These thoughts: 'you are ill, so, what is that MY problem... - LOOK BY YOURSELF, how you deal with it, with yourself/your pets/your children/your house/your garden etc.' - all THIS BAAAD EGOISM the world has in store for GOOD PEOPLE , who are just 'not functioning' in that kind, the outside world FORCED everybody and anybody TO DO SO, allnthis 'functioning' for money, money, money, that's ALL A SH*T WORTH!!!!!!!!!!!! Sorry.... But, guys 🙏🤗😊: seniors, kids, sick (or mentally) ill people, (ALL human beings that have some form of "I'm ('not yet' or 'not anymore' ) able to do THAT", something to 'ENRICH ' me/you/our kids/the family/the local community/the state etc. - they (WE!!!!!) are ALL EQUAL and WORTH THE SAME!!!!!! We were ALL children at any times of our lives and had to rely on the decisions our parents made for us (and, HOPEFULLY, learned by that, that we can TRUST the grown-ups in our lifes...!!!) and we ALL will be OLD someday...!!! If we are LUCKY, no diseases, no (car-) accidents etc. will happen until our 'older days' 😊😉😏, but: who knows, WHAT will happen to us, to our loved ones, to our friends, to our neighbors etc. ...?!? SO: we should CARE ABOUT EACH OTHER ❤🤝🏼❤, and if an I'll woman is IN NEED for somebody (or some MORE people!!), who's WALKING HER LOVELY DOGS, so that she juuust could have KEPT THEM, then, so personally I think, that the people around her (her family, friends, neighbors etc.) SHOULD HAVE HELPED HER OUT, so that she could KEEP HER FURRY BABIES 😍❤️😍...!!!!!!!! Nobody can tell me, that there weren't any OTHER dogs around, that got their daily walkies, too, INCLUSIVE THE OWNERS, who JUST could have took the two dogs RIGHT AWAY WITH THEM on the walks - the dogs were SOOO FRIENDLY, I can't imagine, there would have been GREAT PROBLEMS with them and OTHER dogs... Oooh, Julie's tears on the goodbye with her two doggos are STILL running RIGHT TROUGH MY HEART 😩😢😣😭😱...!!!!!!!!! PLEASE, guys: if there is ANY situation with an older or I'll person in your area and you KNOW what's the problem, PLEEEAAASE, OFFER YOUR HELPING HANDS to these people, to walk the dog or offer them to take care of the animals, while they're in hospital -life is HARD ENOUGH for them, EVEN WITHOUT A 'FOREVER-GOODBYE' to their beloved pets!!!!!!! And, in MANY cases, their pets are THEIR ONLY 'highlight' in life; to be FORCED to live WITHOUT their 'one and only, the unconditional, ' TRUE love a pet offers you, is THE MOST SHOCKING for animal lovers - I can tell you!!!!!!!! Our 'Ares' 😍❤️😍 is really, reeeaaally, THE BEST that has EEEVER HAPPENED to me 😍👍🏼🤗 and I am SO THANK-& GRATEFUL, that I am LUCKY to have HELP with him, when I can't walk properly enough (Multiple Sklerosis & Rheuma/Arthritis) with him - there are SO MANY, especially YOUNG people (teenagers ALWAYS need and LIKE their own money, didn't they 😜😏😋...) , who would walk Ares or are taking care of him, when I'm in hospital again - I feel VERY, VERY HONOURED by their sooo devoted and lovely behavior in HELPING ME OUT with 'my boy' 😏😋😍❤️😍, almost DAY BY DAY, THEY ARE THE GREATEST 👍🏼😍👍🏼!!!!!!!!

Make sure if your vet or your doctor gives you antibiotics you also take or your pets take probiotics at the same time. The microbiodome in your gut is extremely important to preserve

Did it not sink in where those animals had come from. Did the term 'Dog Meat Farm' mean Nothing to you? These aren't little Foo Foo being brought in from Malibu, These are Prime Steak. They have had No life, other than a cage. So yes,, lets' let them out. In the restricted zone of an International Airport¬ Great Idea! People like you are nearly as bad as the morons that cause the suffering. No Clue whatsoever, but hey we Lurve Fur Babies! Yeah, so do some of these peopl here! You know the ones who Love them so much they haven't a clue how to look after them.

So often the help these poor animal helpers need, is to be helped by being blessed with free dog food. Poor people deserve to have a pet to love also, but the price of vets and pet food is often ridiculous. I have a 15 yr old cat. The vets charge $80 to step through their door, and want $1200 to remove a bad tooth. I dont have that kind of money.

Vets are professionals and they go through years and years of college and training to get to where they are. You can't expect them to work for free. And that's one of the biggest problems I hear from vets is that the rescue organizations want them to work for free and that's just not going to happen. They have huge overhead. I run a charity where I basically rescue people but there's no funds for me either but I figure out a way to make that work. If you're going to run a rescue you're going to have to figure out how to get the funding. And please do not badger the vets or expect them to work for free. That's not what they signed up for

@@jmdenison You didnt seem to understand the point I was making. Would love to discuss it further. I have always taken my pets to vets immediately if they needed it. I have moved to Portsmouth NH 4 mo ago. Although i paid over $200 5 mo ago in AZ to have her teeth cleaned, she now has a bad tooth. The vet here wants to charge me $1200 to remove her tooth. I am 73, and dont have that kind of money to spend on my beloved 15 yr old cat. I called my vet in AZ who said they would do it for $300. I am now giving my cat Pet Marijuana to reduce the pain. I am now facing euthanasia as the only choice. My son and I called every vet within 50 mi. There is a lower cost vet school that does dental work but a 3 month wait. It took every penny I had to move to NH.

@@janetfraser7869 I'm sorry about to hear all of that. How about trying a GoFundMe for your pet. Often those are very successful. I will pray for you. And I'm not the problem because I actually run a charity and I work for free or donations

Fake tears. Why you're crying you're giving up your dog because you can't commit to help him with his anxiety, but you want him to protect you. Wow. Don't feel sorry for her.

Training a dog with anxiety takes a lot of time and money. and if you don’t have the resources and patience to do it it’s better to acknowledge it and give the dog a better family and the owner made a good decision.
