We need it in Germany too. People which abused animals gets not much. they have to pay money, and thats it. It doesnt matter how worse the Abuse of Animals is.
Love Anthony! ❤️ These RSPCA officers are so great! I just watched a video showing all the intense training they go through at school for a year in order to graduate and become an inspector. I wish we had such a program in the U.S.
If RSPCA off-icers are so great, there are a million Uyigers in China who need to be liberated from their imprisonment and other abuses. They are people, not animals, so RSPCA is evidently not at all concerned about them.
the empathy these inspectors feel and can demonstrate to both variety of animal is appreciated and should be commended. If these skill sets / care factors could be shared and duplicated in society.. everyone would be better off. Shout out to these brave people 💅👍💅
So good to know this SPCA officer made the visit to Kiren. As a former community nurse in Canada 🇨🇦 (disabled and now retired) I started to see more and more people with mental health care needs, some almost living on the street. It was amazing to see that these people would often go without themselves in order for their pets to be well fed and cared for. People will often say well if he/she didn’t have that dog, they might be able to put a roof over their head. But, they fail to understand that the dog(s) maybe all they have in this world. Their dog is all they have. Their dog is their world. …. I will admit right now I haven’t seen passed the point where Hershey just makes it through the door and the young man’s dogs in my opinion are in great condition, given the state of the home. THIS is where I hope the health and well being does not fall through the cracks. We cannot fail the human animal either you know and these days we all have a duty to report child abuse, adult abuse, animal abuse etc so whatever “OFFICER” HEALTH CARE PROFESSIONAL, apartment super. , minister, teacher is able to get in the door we must not fail. Now I have to see what is done here once Ms Hershey starts to really interact with Keirnan.
Good to see things off to a start with Kieran, more needs to happen. He needs to be followed by Social Services, or a social worker. Does he have a job, funds to help pay for repairs and deep cleaning of his place ? I’m sure Officer Hershey will be on top of the case anyway she seems to be the type❤ very kind.
And as I used to say to building managers, neighbours we all have to help each other, if you see something report it, you may be the first stop in helping someone.
It shouldn't even get to the point where dogs need to be removed for poor conditions because when we put human welfare and needs first as a community, we can therefore protect children, people with disabilities, pets, those responsible due to their own struggles with mental health issues and/or drugs. It's heartbreaking really when you think about it because how can we care for the most vulnerable, if the "toughes" broken individuals are also neglected (regardless of their state, and by that I mean violent or seemingly evil/scary tendencies, which all reverts back to needing mental help.) For an _extreme_ example, I know a RUclipsr that finds pedos online and he is this MASSIVE dude, but has such a gentle way with words and ALWAYS gets these men to admit to what they are doing while still treating them like human beings (I truly don't know how he does it..he has the grounding energy of a one hundred year old monk) and they end up arrested. He saves LIVES doing this! And he even saves people who have never committed crimes, but we're considering givigf in to their urges, and guess them psychological and phychiatric professional help. Nor me personally- I don't think those demons deserve prison time..that isn't justice in my eyes and it's a punishment for their sick ways on good tax payers. I think they should be tortured and killed publically as a warning to all people! (Along with maybe a program that talks about sexual abuse and how it can lead to those urges or other mental problems can, and if you ever experience them this is what you need to do..then again, DARE never worked much, but at least it could educate and teach kids being abused to speak up and how to safely) I SEVERELY DIGRESS! My point for bringigg this EXTREME example out is reaching out WORKS. We need organizations in every state who can help people struggling with depression and are hoarding as a result, or people who have nobody BUT their dog yet struggle with buying flea medication or dewormer or food, people who can reach out to elderly people who can no longer care for their pets but are so ashamed of the state of their home or the dogs and they need to feel comfortable and safe to reach out or for neighbors who can ring them up for a check in to offer services, even if it's simply a dog walker because they are weak or were in an accident and they can't walk them. But not only that, to offer services for them as well- a liason who can connect them to other services. To be honest, this would be a dream of mine..to make this a reality for my community and to make this specific kind of non-profit who brings on and trains volunteers and recieves donations. I wish I had to.know how and the money to jump start this sort of thing. But to be honest, my gift is coming up with amazing ideas..but I don't have futher education and I live in section 8 myself and cant even afford to eat myself at the moment..I just barely scrape by, and my children's grandparents on either side each have a child rn now for summer as we try to get our shitty apartment into better shape with a contractor and as we try to find work (and the contractor is JUST doing the kitchen now after a month if waiting..my boys come home in a week and I still need to get the bathroom gutted and redone, and our entire Carpet had been flooded underneath (slowly over the last decade, but the complex has refused to help..probably because it's the foundation and its 3 rooms and they would Moe than likely need to rehome us..I could probably sue for being stuck with black mold for the better half of our stay! If I knew how/where to start. 🥺) I guess this particular idea came to me because I could have used a service like this. Although I don't have pets. We want one or two desperately, but we'd never get a pet until we could give it the best life. We rescued a cat in the spring time, and we desperately tried to get our shit together so we could adopt it after we dropped him off at the woman's humane society (don't ask me why yrs named that, but it's for animals). It was so hard for me dripping him off.. I cried. In the hours we had him, we bonded so. I do believe he was abandoned. He had a cold, but other than that he was clean and so friendly. But he'd been out at least one night, maybe two (it had been raining the day my husband let him in our building. I got him some fresh water and large catfood can (even when we are hungry, we feed the local feral colony) and he ate SO much of it right away. Anyways, by that Friday after about a week, he was better and somebody else adopted him. My heart ached, but I knew it was what was best for him and I was happy he now had a good loving home. Anywho- this was a NOVEL of a comment. I haven't left a comment this long and open in ages! Hopefully I didn't bore you, but it goes to show why we live in a day and age where we desperatey need community services even more. Too many people, myself included, live online. People young and old are more disconnected than ever, and we all _need_ in-person connection! Maybe one day I'll make my dream a reality.
I have two pitbull type rescues that are both the sweetest dogs you'll ever meet and yet had the hardest lives before rescue. This is needless killing of abused dogs and breaks my heart.
@grandchampionmayday4372 I know there's not, but tell that to the people putting these sweet dogs down. They don't even do genetic tests. They just have some random person, who isn't even an expert in dogs, much less pitbulls, look at the dog and go, "yup, this one needs to die."
Of course most are lovely dogs. But a few are not (usually due to breeding aggressive lines or bad owners). But, its right to ban this breed because they are so powerful and POTENTIALLY dangerous or even deadly. Because of stupid or evil people it give the rest of the good pitbull owners and there dogs a bad name. But so long as there are pitbull dogs there will be people getting killed, injured or them killing other dogs. So the only answer is to ban stop breeding them.
@@jase123111 You are basically agreeing to a law that thinks that just because someone have a certain height, body build and face feature they are a certain breed. Like saying a human with a certain height, body build and face feature are African, no matter if the skin are white as a ghost. By law they are African… It’s IDIOTIC, is what it is. Only DNA can tell for certain what type of breed a dog is, not a stupid wannabe “dog expert”. This is dog racism >.
@@jase123111Places that put bans on “pit bulls” years ago are beginning to lift the bans after its become clear that the bans didn’t lead to fewer dog bites or fatalities. Turns out that the people who either don’t know how to socialize dogs or actually want vicious dogs get dogs of other breeds that then turn out to be vicious. What makes a dog vicious is how it’s bred and treated, not the breed. Also, the proper way to do a threat assessment is to know how many negative outcomes out of a total number or population. For instance if you want to know if it’s safe to fly on a plane you don’t consider how many crashes you can think of, you need to know how many crashes as a percentage of total flights. So the question is, what percentage of “pit bulls” are vicious out of the number of total “pit bulls”? Of course you don’t know. There are millions of “pit bull” type dogs, most of them mixes of indeterminate breeds. The vast majority of these dogs - even the ones that have been abused, neglected, ill socialized - never cause a problem. Blaming superficial, inaccurately assessed factors such as “breed”, rather than the factors that actually contribute to bad behavior, such as treatment , is lazy and dangerous.
❤❤❤😊 I love it when Sherpa gets to visit Nook and Key. He is so adorable and such a happy camper whenever he sees them . He loves his buddies Nook and Key..
With what the DOTS vet commented about the bond between owner and pet made, there is a RUclipsr that owns a dog, and he showed in one episode of taking the dog to his vet for an annual checkup. The vet commented that the two had a very strong connection together.
I’m so sorry for the 3 pit bulls dogs, I agree they are good dogs, it depends the way they’re raised. I got a female Fila Brasileño and I guess I would have to put her to sleep in the UK. She’s a molosoid type 55kg of muscles and love. The best home guardian dog ever, protecting her family (humans and animals... even the chickens).
It's shocking that pitties have such a bad reputation. In my opinion, it is the little dogs that are aggressive. Obviously, any dog can be aggressive of course. Personally, I have been bitten five times by chihuahua's, twice by shih tzu's.....and I got bitten by a chocolate lab many years ago. This stereotyping of the bully breeds needs to stop. I know several people with pitbull type dogs and they are as sweet as can be.
@@jase123111 and nothing you sat matter till you go back to school an aggressive dog is an aggressive dog points blank if they can train aggressive small dog they can do the same with big dogs they just don't care about big dogs even tho its humans fault the big dogs have to pay a death sentence after being miss treated or just for living a good life

I dont get the punishment of not owning a pet for three years. Three years isn't going to change anything. If you mistreat an animal, you shouldn't be able to own a pet again.
Usually, ppl who are abusive to pets actually don't want them & don't seek another pet by the end of three years. Oddly, they may change their habits &/or situation by the end of that time, as well. They will be monitored if they acquire a pet. If anything appears out of order, they will once again have their pet removed & they will then be fined & banned from having a pet for life if the abuse happens again.
I could do this kind of work, but the fact is that I would always take the dog’s side,as sometimes we as humans show the dogs, the wrong way,of behaving…😮😊
Unfortunately there are many people who for whatever reason, cannot admit that they have a problem. Homes that are literally covered with trash and feces exist even when no animals are present. The fact that people live in such squalor is mind blowing. Even worse is when they have accepted such horrid conditions as the norm for themselves.
No Dog should be put Down just because of bad owners especially pit bull mix because They are good Dog's and very special and Pit bulls are the best Dogs to have because they are always there for you.
It's wonderful that the RSPCA has the power to get the police involved & the dogs removed from terrible situations. How owners can be so heartless & selfish is so difficult to understand. It's incredibly sad the owners are more concerned about their embarassment than the well being of their pets (possessions). Pet laws are far better in the UK.
It is so unfair that the victims here, as in the seized animals are the ones that end up behind bars. It hurts my heart every time I see this. Not only is it sad to see but it makes me furious, knowing that the perpetrators of inflicting these crimes onto animals are the very ones on the outside screaming, swearing, shouting of the injustice done to them. People like these are putrid. They are the true animals in this equation. There's definitely missing pieces within their psyche when they feel victimized, entitled, wah wah. To have an animal blatantly looking like that & being scaled as a 2 or a 1 but somehow these people can't see it? Gosh I wish I had the knack of selected sight. I love The Dog Rescuers even though it makes me more sad than not. Knowing that what we get to see is a miniscule view of what is really happening out there. I believe that more promotion for desexing, better education of what it takes to look after animals, the true costs & care of being a responsible animal owner eg; size of dog = budget, insurance, vet care etc. Definitely harsher penalties for animal cruelty. It's okay to suggest a bit of brain storming.
Pit Bulls used to be called Nanny dogs, because they were so good with children. Obviously not all are the same. My greatgrand son climbs all over the dog I bought for my granddaughter. He is big and has bad joints. And doesn't even move when CJ crawls all over him.😊
I've owned Pitt bulls my whole life and they are so forgive how they get treated by some people. They are great baby's to have. 💜 They can be reformed they have so much love to give.. This is sad that you kill so many loving dogs.
Its so sad that those pitts are treated that way, all of the pitts i have ever known are big babies, ours is part pittie and she loves everyone and is afraid of her own shadow lol.i would be devastated if anything ever happened to her and her us. She gets along the best with one if our granddaughters so she knows if anything happens to us she has to take her and our house because our girl hates being away from home unless shes riding or walking
Bruce the Pom is gorgeous! Do all Poms in the UK look like that? In the US our Poms are like round little cotton balls with tiny faces. I like yours better. Even though I have a "pit bull" (I think), for the life of me I can't tell the difference between a pittie and a staffy!
The two dogs looked like they have been fed well. Not everyone knows enough about dog health. Instead of taking their pets they should send them to dog care classes. They didn’t even ask if they had been seen already
RSPCA fully trained officers rule when it comes to animal cruelty - every state should have one where these have the law backing them and even in most countries I know, having the police on stand by as well. Any person caught abusing an animal must face the full arm of the law!!! Charges laid, prosecute ---- not just a rescue.
The lady with the 2 Staphys...I dont believe her that the fight was a first time event. Really..we are expected to believe that the two dogs have never had a squabble? Either she is lying OR she didn't even try to figure out a solution. A dog behaviorist could have really been a big help. Hell..she could have gone online searching for an answer
The case with the 3 dogs just doesn’t make sense. If the organization itself and all the people around them deemed them safe, that’s what they should be judged on.
Makes no sense that they kill dogs just because they look a certain way, doesn’t matter how nice they are or that they never have bitten anyone. While a human who murders only gets a few years before being let out to kill again… makes absolutely ZERO sense
I think some of the biggest evidence of the stupidity of these laws is that the definition of "pitbull" is really just down to "Do we want to put it down or not". If someone wants to see a dog put down, they'll shout "PITBULL!". If not, they pat them on the head and say "Staffy/bulldog". The truth of course, is that the difference between a staffy and a pitbull is almost non-existent, and any of these breeds can be dangerous, or fine and gentle, if they're handled properly.
😢 poor roo so many things going on 1. The flooring òk fine 2 the treat room is getting a face lift the treats are being moved "BUT" ( we're not talking about you) Thera a Bright light at the end Grandpa is coming to live w you and that is better treats or walks to the p.a.rk w dad so don't worry things will go back to normal.
I am afraid of dogs at least in part due to bad experiences with poorly-trained ones. This includes aggressive pit bulls. I'm getting a little better with my fear when I see that a dog is not likely to approach me, especially a true service dog that is focused on doing its job. However, if a dog is barking at me or tries to approach, I immediately get nervous and scared. I'm a petite woman, and can easily be knocked down and hurt. One of my first bad experiences was being repeatedly knocked down as a child by a dog that belonged to my cousins. My aunt and uncle did nothing to stop the behavior. Then there are the pit bulls...my next-door neighbor has them. One was taken away for repeated biting incidents, and another that they still have (somehow) almost got me when I was just walking down the street; they hadn't restrained it properly in the yard. It lunges at the fence, growls, and fence-fights other dogs. The Frenchies they now breed are showing similar bad behavior. So, for all of those saying, "It's not the breed!" Perhaps. All my bad experiences have been due to the owners not stepping up and training their dogs properly. I don't trust most dogs...and I trust dog owners even less. 😞 Heck, a previous neighbor AT THE SAME HOUSE had Dalmatians that they abused, leaving them out in the hot sun all day with no food or water! They would beg for water from the garden hose when my mother and I watered our flowers! Thankfully, animal control did do something...but not before one of them died. 😞 Just...people, I am begging you. Train your dogs. Treat them well. If you don't, it is partly your fault when people develop a fear or advocate for breed-specific bans.
web searching has sadly informed me that Pit bull terriers are still a banned breed in the uk (along with the Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro)
They should have called Cesar Millan, he could have rescued those poor pitties. They were lovely dogs. Shame on Great Britain for those laws. Shame on that man for acquiring them, knowing what their fate would be. Very sad episode.
Yes he has all day long to fully train and exercise those beasts, running miles after a skateboard, etc. Only a small number of regular people holding down a job is able to give them the exercise they require to keep them in good shape, physically and mentally.
How can you murder amazing dogs based only on looks!!!!!? This is Horrible!! People afraid of dogs due to breed need to reassess this logic! Dogs should only be judged on an individual basis!!!!! This is 2024, not dark ages! Unbelievable and heartbreaking
@53:50 Starting with a garbage bag and picking up the literal trash on the floor!!! I have compassion but this man may have some mental illness or developmental delays..why is he on his own? This man needs a service coordinator and life skills training ....intervention of some kind because no body in their right mind would be living like that ..That apartment is a fire hazard with all that trash piled on the floor! This makes me angry! This man is not mentally able to take care of himself! There are so many like this! While Parliament members live in huge homes with posh lives poor mentally challenged people are living in squaller!

There are many pitbulls that are quite good, I've owned one myself and it was the kindest dog I've ever owned. It all depends on the owner and only proven aggressive dogs should face euthanasia, not just a blanket rule that sees non aggressive dogs destroyed just because of how they look. Even if they kept the law it should be dependent only on DNA test and not just apparent appearance. This is disgusting. Friendly ones should be kept in a no kill shelter to live out their lives if you wanted to eliminate them from the community. Shame on the brittish government, I feel like it's an unnecessary law , ban the owners that raised unfriendly dogs ,not the dogs themselves.
If the dog was not her fur baby friend way did her get the dog 😮 some People oh it's makes me sad 😢and mad .Hope the dog Come to a loving home where the dog are wanted
What you really want to see is politics staying out of stuff that doesn't concern them at all because they have no knowledge of the situation. It should be knowledgeable dog people making these decisions not politicians.

I don't agree on the pit bull law because they are getting a bad rap because of their looks. It is people that make them mean they are smart loving dogs if they are raised right.😢I could not believe they are put down when they are so beautiful and smart and make great pets.😢❤
What breed is a “Lurcher” I don’t think we have those in Canada. Though not a “breed” we do have “pit bull terrier’s or “Pitties” or pit bull mixes here and some provinces or cities yes there are bans against “pitties , pit crosses, even Staffies (a true breed) because of what evil doers have used them for and trained them for. I know from walking into a home with 2 pit bulls salivating and barking on a mat being restrained only by verbal command from a patient I was visiting for care. This patient and spouse were killed a few years later by someone in their own profession. Those in the Drug Trade often have “protection” other illegal practices where these dogs are used is in “dog fighting”. In addition unfortunately where they get a bad rap is from being a big muscular dog where the owner is not familiar in training a dog let alone a big muscular dog, and poorly socialized resulting in someone’s little Poodle or Maltese become a shake toy where death often is the result. A little dog leashed is no feat for a big muscular dog off lead. Most areas where I’ve lived all dogs are to be on a leash unless I’m a dog park and the “dog parks” I have seen leave a lot to be desired. I have seen off leash areas for dogs big and small in a fenced area not much bigger than a basketball court. No rules regarding if a dog is fixed or not. I had an intact male dog (show) Golden Retriever and there is no way, no how would I even consider let off lead in a dog park. You don’t know how socialized others are, what vaccines they have had, if neutered or not, their socialization etc!!!
Where I live in Ontario, where they are banned, they are still being bred, and are walking down the street. Loose of course. 😢 Edit. Lurchers? They are a mixed breed hunting dog. They remind me of shaggy long fur Greyhounds.
How can that pit bull owner be so cruel. That dog literally has no hair & is so itchy. Plus she stinks. Mange is a terrible condition. Dogs really suffer & can even die. Sharpeis need eye surgery to get their eyelashes from scratching their eyeballs & eventually scaring them affecting her eyesight permanently. Poor dogs. We always used Dermaton on dogs with mange. Just one shampooing w/Dermaton per week & another qith oatmeal ahampoo & conditioner really helps get the akin cleared up & back to good health in no time (about 6 weeks).
I don’t think a dog should be judged by its breed. People talk about not judging others by their looks, yet you do it to helpless animals. It’s nice you check on the animals, I just don’t agree with a pick and choose mentality. Just my opinion.
You know what the court needs to Look back on what pit bulls Do for people because they are not bad Dog's it's the people that abuse them and put them in Dog Fighting they are such good Dog's and the court needs to Look back on the Breed because my Brother has a pit bull mix and he's not aggressive to anyone and I'm happy the court Decided to give them a chance in Life and just be good to them and they will Love you forever and always
For all the good the RSPCA does, the automatic death sentence for any "pit bull terrier" types is an abomination. Shame on the bastards that came up with that crap legislation. And shame on the rotten bastard that arbitrarily killed those dogs on a appearance based whim.
Unfortunately darn humans that 'brand them. These beautiful dogs are raised for fighting or bait. It's a major financial gain. Bets are placed and the dogs fight to the death. By the time they are rescued, and adults their spirits are broken beyond the love of another human
@@colleenbennett8978Not true at all! There were dozens of fighting and bait pitbulls rescued from the celebrity Basketball player in the US some years ago! They were evaluated by the dog trainers and the dog experts! Some needed rehab! A few needed to go to the experienced homes! The rest went to the regular family homes! Only one was euthanized due to aggression, and several died while in the rescue shelters’ custody due to depression and being emotionally uncared for by the staff!! They literally died of a broken heart! So, this theory that the fighting dogs cannot be rehabilitated or adopted out has been unequivocally proven False!! Britain is way behind times!!
There is only one dangerous breed - Humans. It is humans that make dogs aggressive by they way they are treated. Raise the dog with love and kindness, you get a loving and kind dog. Treat it mean, dont feed it, etc, then yeah, it is not going to be nice. I own a "pit bull" type dog (in the USA) right now and she is the sweetest dog, loves people, wants to be loved on and petted. Have had others in the past that were the same way. Banning breeds is ridiculous. Back in the 80's it was Dobermans that had a bad rap.. then German Shepards, then Rotties... What cracks me up is that statistically, it is small dogs that bite far more often than the bigger, so called "mean" breeds.
There's a problem of pitbulls causing serious harm to humans and other animals. All dogs can be dangerous but pitbulls were specifically bred to be the most deadly because they were bred for dogfighting. Irresponsible people tend to own potentially dangerous dogs often and it causes the deaths of children and other animals. It's a lose lose situation that is more complex and nuanced than just banning the breed, but the government took the easy way out because trying to deal with the more complicated aspects of the situation was too costly I assume
@@nquisitiv3471 - just goes to show how misinformed so many people are about the breed. They are descended from the English bull baiting dog - as in cows... when baiting of large animals was outlawed in the 1800's that is when people started pitting dog against dog. when properly socialized they are the sweetest dogs around - it all comes down to responsible breeding and how they are raised. We actually own a pittie, and she is a luv bug.. adores people. She does not have a mean bone in her body.
@@northwoods3d pitbulls have so much love to give to the world; it's the irresponsible and bad owners that don't properly train their dogs to behave that are why they have a bad reputation. Because the dog has the capacity to cause some serious damage, they need to be raised well and taught to not play rough and not engage in hunting behavior in inappropriate situations. Some people encourage the dog to be violent under the guise of "protection" but they don't do it the right way and inevitably the dog ends up hurting someone and has to face the consequences, while the owner usually gets off with a slap on the wrist. Pitbulls are strong dogs, and I think that all dog breeds that are capable of being dangerous to that extent should have required dog training lessons with the owners when they are adopted. I think it would be useful to have that be required to have a "license" to own the dog so we can reduce cases of irresponsible people's dogs causing the death of a child or beloved pet.
I’m going to say this … and it might not be a popular opinion….. if that owner had not been caught on CCTV abusing his dogs they would not have been removed and if they had not been removed they would not have been euthanized. So maybe the lesson is DON’T BEAT YOUR DOGS . I don’t agree with the law in the UK. I don’t believe that any breed should be banned. I think it’s incredibly close minded and quite ridiculous. I’ve been bitten twice … once by a German Shepherd and once by a toy poodle. Both were unprovoked bites. And it was the 3rd bite for the poodle and she was put down. I still live aground the street from the Shepherd.
Dogs like some of the so called human are agresive by nature, but that doesn’t mean the dog has to be,that agresive ne. Can be trained out of the dog😅😊😊
How horrible that they kill pit bulls. They can be wonderful dogs. They should w a tch the show"pit bulls and parollees". Most of them are wonderful Rona
What are people thinking to have an intact male dog in the home with a small child and other dogs? I wish they had talked about that because it's simple a terrible idea.
1 hour 28 min in was bullshit fr you shouldn’t take anyone’s dog because a person said someone struck the dog. They could be lying and not only that if you have no proof how can you go off what a random person says.. and how you bettering the situation if all you going to do is put the dog down that’s messed up you could send them dogs to America where they are welcome put them up for adoption to people who can take care of them and send them where they will be loved
There was video footage unfortunately captured by the council cameras on every street post. These dogs were friendly though and don't deserve to be put down just because of how they look. Their temperament should be allowed to be taken into consideration before decisions like that are made. Shame on the government for ordering the execution of happy, friendly and healthy dog's just because of people's misunderstanding of the breed.
It is pitiful that they put the dogs down. I think it is an atrocity for this to happen. I hate the government. I hate that government. Look around. Pit bulls get a bad rap. A very bad rap. I am going to stop watching this show.
I can't understand why you people killed those beautiful animals! Sick, stupid people! You all do good for animals so as an American I will never understand killing an animal because of the way they look!😢😢😢
Pitbulls are illegal in that country. Pasting this from another comment: It's a matter of funds most of the time. Trying to organize a transfer to an entirely different country is extremely expensive and there's thousands of other dogs that need help, and they don't have unlimited money to help them all. It's a hard choice to make but ultimately they want to save as many dogs as possible rather than end up spending the resources on only one when it could have been enough money to save more. The lesson to be learned is that we need to give them more funding and resources so they can devote all the time and money needed to save every single animal
More people are bitten by Chihuahuas than by Pitbulls. I feel bad for those poor dogs that are k*led because of their breed. RIP to my Pittie niece and nephew Myra and Scrappy. They lived long happy lives here in Maine, USA 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🕯️🕯️🕯️🕯️🕯️🕯️💕💕💕💕💕💕💕👍👍👍
thats dumb. Can you see that a pitbull is far more dangerous than a chihuahua? If you don't believe that then go at get bitten by an aggressvie chihuahua and then an aggressive pitbul and see which one does you the most damage.
This is the kind of help we need in Canada too!!!
This the kind of help we need in USA.... Better laws that actually help pets out of bad situations. Yes!!! RSPCA!!!
We need it in Germany too. People which abused animals gets not much. they have to pay money, and thats it. It doesnt matter how worse the Abuse of Animals is.
Agreed!
We need to put down dogs because of their breed???? This is the answer???
I totally agree with you!😢
@@NyseHaywoodwhat are you talking about? (I just began the video)
Shout out to these brave people 💅👍💅
Angel and Peter are PRECIOUS ❤️🤗 They needed each other
So good to know this SPCA officer made the visit to Kiren.
@Ab3ndcgithe Dogs become the street person 🧍♂️ will to live as well as they can❤😮😅😊
❤Taz can come to my place😊
@@jase123111 they aren't though. They're actually mid-sized dogs and it's a myth that their jaws lock.
@@jase123111 You are basically agreeing to a law that thinks that just because someone have a certain height, body build and face feature they are a certain breed. Like saying a human with a certain height, body build and face feature are African, no matter if the skin are white as a ghost. By law they are African…
It’s IDIOTIC, is what it is.

Of all of the different things that pets&vets do, this is my favorite 😂❤
With what the DOTS vet commented about the bond between owner and pet made, there is a RUclipsr that owns a dog, and he showed in one episode of taking the dog to his vet for an annual checkup. The vet commented that the two had a very strong connection together.

Those 2 Lhaso Apsos are so adorable. How could anyone be so cruel to those innocent babies!!??!!

I dont get the punishment of not owning a pet for three years. Three years isn't going to change anything. If you mistreat an animal, you shouldn't be able to own a pet again.
I so agree….i guess they think the abusers will have to think about it for 5 years….not long enough imo
You are so good at this....dealing with recalcitrant people....I do not have that skill
The scene of the rescue of the dog of a young man who has been living on the sidewalk since he was 12 years old is hallucinating!
THANK YOU!!!😘
Pit Bulls used to be called Nanny dogs, because they were so good with children.
Obviously not all are the same. My greatgrand son climbs all over the dog I bought for my granddaughter. He is big and has bad joints. And doesn't even move when CJ crawls all over him.😊

American Pitbull Terriers are the best most loving dogs in the world!
@grandchampionmayday4372american pitbull terriers, but people just refer to that line at pitbulls. Any other bully has a different name.
You post to love dogs
I have a pitbull granddoggy and I sobbed with the RSPCA officer. That's complete insanity. I'm more scared of a Chihuahua than I am a Pit.
The Staffies are much smalller, shorter legs than the American Pitbull Terrier, for an example! The Staffies are known to be dog-aggressive!

Does he have a job at home? Guarding animals or people? I’m not sure what the breed’s expertise is.
Heck, a previous neighbor AT THE SAME HOUSE had Dalmatians that they abused, leaving them out in the hot sun all day with no food or water! They would beg for water from the garden hose when my mother and I watered our flowers! Thankfully, animal control did do something...but not before one of them died. 😞
Just...people, I am begging you.

They better not ever rescue sweet dogs to only end their life… that’s way way more abusive than leaving them in that home

What you really want to see is politics staying out of stuff that doesn't concern them at all because they have no knowledge of the situation. It should be knowledgeable dog people making these decisions not politicians.
That sounds like the US right now xD
It's much easier to put a blanket ban on them for a public safety measure because you can not control control the behavior of the owner.

Edit.
Britain should start looking at murderers the same way. You have killed someone? Will let’s put you to sleep!
Its not only the pitbull its all dogs that bite ok do you put any other dog down for bitting no you don't cause its only the pitbull you all hate

Rspca is funny there's not much difference in the American bulldogs, staffies, ect.
❤
May the dog murderers forever live with bad karma
Unfortunately darn humans that 'brand them. These beautiful dogs are raised for fighting or bait. It's a major financial gain. Bets are placed and the dogs fight to the death. By the time they are rescued, and adults their spirits are broken beyond the love of another human
@@colleenbennett8978It's a tragedy that bloodsport people created them.
Can the British not check with other countries that allow pitbulls?
👏😍💕
Izzy was probably scared of men because her male owner beat her 😢
Horrible to put a dog to sleep because of the breed.
Need higher fines
Dogs like some of the so called human are agresive by nature, but that doesn’t mean the dog has to be,that agresive ne. Can be trained out of the dog😅😊😊
I live in The US and these dogs are not pit bulls they are staffies
How horrible that they kill pit bulls. They can be wonderful dogs. They should w a tch the show"pit bulls and parollees". Most of them are wonderful Rona
What are people thinking to have an intact male dog in the home with a small child and other dogs? I wish they had talked about that because it's simple a terrible idea.
Not fair at all
1 hour 28 min in was bullshit fr you shouldn’t take anyone’s dog because a person said someone struck the dog.
I had a pittbull great dog this is a stupid law this episode is horrible so sad
Great to see the police have come
they all look like pirtbull mixes
It is pitiful that they put the dogs down. I think it is an atrocity for this to happen. I hate the government. I hate that government. Look around. Pit bulls get a bad rap. A very bad rap. I am going to stop watching this show.
Wrong chouice
The lesson to be learned is that we need to give them more funding and resources so they can devote all the time and money needed to save every single animal
they should do that to humans instead.
But did you die?
Breed specific legislation for perfectly happy healthy dogs is completely idiotic. They were better off with the owner. This is disgusting.
