I did my bedroom a few years ago according to the Design Sessions and the principles learned there. If I do say so myself it came out the way Rebecca would do it. I love love love it.

I love your attention to detail!! I appreciate that Angela chose the bedroom. But the best thing about this project is that Angela's family is likely on a smaller budget like many of us. I wish I knew how much was spent, how much merchandise was donated, etc. I may have to buy sheets from your recommended company now! But I don't think I'll iron them. Thank you for doing this project -- real people on a real budget that matches with the amount most of us have or are willing to spend on decorating our home and making it function well, and making it look perfect, calming and pretty.

There’s only one Rebecca… every thing she does is perfect… with lots of money or little money… with this style or that style… and yes thanks for teaching but the truth is that the art within you can’t be teach …still trying to imitate what she does can definitely give good results! I have ironed sheets for guest bedrooms and they loved it. I ironed my bed sheets and pillow cases and boy did it make a difference!
I learned how to iron when I was little by ironing the pillowcases and my Daddy's handkerchiefs! I've always ironed pillowcases. It makes a huge difference! I hadn't tried the top sheet until I got linen sheets! The young youtubers don't iron that. It drives me crazy...they like the wrinkled look. HUH??? 😄You and I are the same age, by the way!

Yes, I iron our pillowcases. Not always do I iron the topsheet, but when I do we sleep so much better. Thanks for another common sense makeover!!!

Ohhhh, so beautiful! The new bedroom dressers, lamps, bedding, picture frames, window treatments, darkened wall... very elegant. 🎉
I steam iron my sheets weekly. right on the bed. It cleans the mattress and the bed sheets are so luxe. I’ve been doing this for years. It doesn’t ruin the mattress and I have bought four mattress at least four times and it never hurts any of them. I used to dress beds for a very expensive store and learned a lot about dressing beds. Beautiful job on the room. The only thing I would change was the size of the light dome inside the wicker light fixture. The 70s got it right they had a big bulb inside.

Happy to see an affordable makeover! Just an FYI- for all you cane furniture lovers....Wal-Mart has lots in their Better Homes and Gardens furniture collection. In fact they are currently on sale 8/2024 and come in light and dark wood.

I've been ironing my sheets since I was 12 years old. My Mom made me do them so I would learn how to iron. I'm 73 now, and I still iron them. Here's a tip for painting! Lightly caulk the top of painters tape on the corner where you use another color of paint, and you won't have any bleed through. NOW COME HELP ME DECORATE!❤😊❤

Yes, I iron my pillowcases and top sheet! I started doing it during "covid" in 2020 and haven't stopped. Can't go back!
High end hotels spritz water on the sheets when they make the bed and then wait a minute or two and pull out the wrinkles by pulling on the sheets best if you pull in two directions like pull to the top and side and man it works so well!! I love climbing into crips wrinkle free sheets at night!!

I love seeing homes like this. With just a few touches it completely changes the look. When I lived in Colorado someone tried to trick me into eating bulls balls. You handled that situation a lot better than I would have 😂. Also, the fact that you've never been in Big Lots tickled me 😂. The guy who fit all that in your truck needs to be added to your payroll immediately😅.

I still love my LV reverse monogram *yutulu* clutch! It's versatile, fits a variety of items, and is definitely a workhorse! I think seeing it everywhere (like the LV speedy) is proof that it's already a classic.
