This was awesome! Something about this video was so interesting to me, seeing the removed tracks and what you think about them. Im still new to ctgp and downloaded it a couple months ago, but its so much fun to see and play all the tracks. I had no idea you made dark matter fortress, i played it a while ago and had a blast with it so well done on that! It was an outstanding stage. As for your video, it really kept my attention with my curiosity for the custom tracks, and i watched the entire thing! Great work, and keep it up man :)
You are insane. Great video, really entertaining throughout. Especially loved the editing, all the visual effects were really smooth. Your reason for including Dark Matter Fortress in your ranking was brilliant, though you were way too humble with your placement of it. Easily Top 20 for me.

Great video! It was very interesting to see a ranking of all CTGP tracks as I'd never seen one before. Your rankings largely make sense and allowed me to get a new perspective on tracks that I'd only played a handful of times. I can tell that a huge amount of effort went into this video, from the transitions to the changing of placements rankings (ex. +5, -30). All in all it made for a very thorough video. Well done!! Edit: I didn't even see the list attached in the description where you had written rationale for all the tracks. Amazing work man!
I was never fond of Lunar Lights (and maybe it's because I haven't started playing CT Lounge and haven't learned the track fully). It definitely deserves the praise as a CTGP defining track. Don't know if I would call it the best in the whole pack. Really nice video! I'm surprised to see how long I was just focused so deeply on this 😅
There's exactly 2 things I would disagree with in this list. Maka Wuhu is too low and Garden of Dreams is a 10/10 in my book. Great list, I'm really happy you made this follow up!

Thanks for all the work you put into this video and deviding the video up so nicely. As someone who just installed CTGP yesterday the 200+ tracks are kinda daunting to think about. This will certainly help me enjoy the better tracks sooner, rather than play them alphabetically haha

it’s nice to see a casual player’s perspective on all the ctgp tracks. by the way, you can actually play these tracks online against other people (instead of playing boring cpu races!) you seem like you could get around 7000 vr with a good amount of effort
Thanks for making an update so I can kill my time. I think this goes without saying but let's appreciate all of the track creators who went out of their way to create the tracks in the first place. While there are some opinions I disagree with (how high Lunar Lights, Color Wonderland, Cave Island, Lakeside Park, and Pipe Underworld are on the list) I think there was a lot of good changes and 90% of this I can agree on. I really liked this video! I loved how it was concise and short but you also managed to hit the nail on the head with most tracks. I think that it would have been nice to see how your ranking compares to the actual wiimmfi ranking, just in the corner but that is only small. As for your video next year, instead of re-uploading mostly the same list, I think you could rate the updates throughout the year. That way, it would allow you to discuss removals/new additions/updates like this video whilst mostly avoiding copying and pasting the main video.
Can't say I fully agree with everything here, but cool. For the case of Kirio if it was updated with the loop and blind turn removed I imagine it would be better, idk if it would get back in the pack though.

@@JustinMKW the Kart strat is absolutely incredible and I love how it differentiates and makes the comparison between Karts and Bikes something you don’t see every day. Who knows, maybe in due time the WR could be with a Kart, but I don’t think we’ll be able to push it that far down in a month. 100% one of the best.
Nice video update! Appreciate you going through it at least. I felt pretty differently about a lot of the tracks though, like Lava Road. Yeah, it wasn't all that before, but now even the stupid quirks that made it interesting are gone and there's no point having it in the pack I feel
This list is pretty cool! I personally prefer original designs to ports, so a lot of ports would be lower for me. Jiyuu Village is my favorite track; Jiyuu is an absolute legend.
I really love the fact that you made another list. I do however disagree with a lot. especially with garden of dreams being so high, it is so hard for new players to play as since there are certain parts not very clear. Like the ending where you have to go left, the cave section being too harsh, the fences causing you to get stuck and the first circle not being clear enough. The visuals however are increddible.
It'd def be a fun idea to rank some other distributions but I think most of the tracks are from 2022 and I already covered a lot of them in my wiiki showcase vids

100%! The version that was in this video was very old (I think 2013) and the new one by squire looks and plays much better. Cheep cheep beach isn't my favourite track from Nintendo but it would definitely rate higher than the position in this ranking

There's a fine art though to making a luck-based track that's actually enjoyable though. Baby Park kinda throws skill out the window, but in Double Dash and 8 it's so chaotic and energetic that you still get a rush out of it. Either way I know people can like luck-based tracks.

Yeah it's sad to see but can't say I'm the most surprised, the track is pretty old. I won't be doing any other packs, mainly because CTGP is basically the only one that I and many others play. I do have interests in other packs but I think I could only pull off a crop ranking
I would do an update video if I had the time for it but I very likely won't, I do really like banished keep though and off the top of my head I'd definitely put it in the top 10 tracks. Not sure if I'd say #1 yet, but still a very fun track that I enjoy playing as often as it gets picked

Mushroom peaks is like the Monaco GP, is an outdated track but it's iconic.

The december 2020 update was definitely one of the best updates ctgp has ever seen in terms of tracks, if not the best.
Some of these surprise me, Crystal Dungeon and Delfino Island are in my Top 20 favourite, and I was quite sad that Sandcastle Park was removed
