Yep. I remember when it came out. A great groove then and still now. I love the use of the strings. I used 2 compose musice and chart marching bands. I converted the strings in2 trombone / baritone parts. The director and members were amazed at how well it sounded when I played it. It was back when there were bands, instruments, musicians, talent and pride. No more of that now. I played this and others of the time back when I was a musician.

They were the Bad Boys of the 70s and 80s. There were the BEAST on writing, playing instruments and producing. I am so glad that I had the pleasure of seeing them perform live twice, the original Chic. Loved it. I forgot to mentioned that I personally talked with Nile Rodgers, Bernard Edwards, Luci Martin and Alfa Anderson. I guess that Tony Thompson was shy because he kept on walking. It was a great experience of meeting them. Rest in Peace Bernard Edwards and Tony Thompson.

Great remix! I adore the original, and Shane D has skill-fully infused dance/house elements with quicker tempo, heavier beat, syncopation, and other effects for modern floors. Which of course goes so well with Bernie's funk-tastic bassline and Nile's chunky rhythm guitar. Banger for sure. Makes you wanna dance and show off those moves! Great video editing to match the new tempo.

This is a brilliant remix version a Saturday night stomper !!! Chic are one of the great groups of modern music icons in my opinion Nile Rodgers Bernard Edwards god they can play guitar riff !!! I love this track one of my favourite and the long version means you can dance longer !!! 1978 was a massive hit year for music as was the 70s ground breaking different genres dance disco funk soul pop rap hip hop !!! And I'm just glad I grew up in this era as.a child !!! Looking at all this retro videos means a lot to me reminds me of my late dad I had a very happy childhood very loving family !!!
