Dusty, not to worry, you are doing everything you need to be doing right now. We all love you, your whole family and your community. Also it is great to see how your whole community is coming together for each other and to see the different perspectives that each RUclipsr has on this terrible disaster. You are all in our prayers. ❤😢❤
Rusty, Daniel, Dutch and many others, thanks for being the hand and feet of Jesus for your community!
Phoenix is the perfect name for that little calf! God bless you folks in your efforts to help out your neighbors who were hit so hard by the disaster. You're all in my prayers.
We are all concerned about the destruction in Sulfur. Your videos on cleanup are truly educational. Our hearts go out to ALL.
Dusty we understand the way your videos jump between the bison and the clean up of Sulfur. It is heart breaking to see. Thank you for the videos as it is educational to see what the destruction a tornado can cause. I
live in Oregon and we don't get tornadoes like that. Prayers to everyone.❤❤❤❤❤
Golly, the destructive power of the wind, and the raging waters are awesome. Mankind is at the mercy of nature. God grant our friends strength and courage to carry on with day to day life while trying to recover their lives. Give hope to the seniors who are alone, without families to help them. I wish I could. Carry on dusty.
Ph
ARE THE CABINS OK?
Oklahoma people are like Florida people. After big storms we Floridians jump in there to help our neighbors with cleanup. Prayers for your family and town that the rebuild will be successful.
Phoenix is the perfect symbol both for the calf born in the ashes of the pasture burn AND for the town of Sulpher recovering and rebuilding from the tornado devastation. Those who thought of that name were right on target. 🌪
OMGosh. Phoenix is absolutely so beautiful for the baby bison!
Just a quick one, dusty don’t know much about tornadoes in the UK. but it seems a lot of the buildings are made of wood, and the brick ones are still standing for what I can see. Is this alright? Because if so you think they would replace the buildings with brick ones or is it too much work? 🙏I hope you’re god is with you all and mine too. Stay safe i love all the videos you guys do thanks 🙏 the old man in England UK.❤🇬🇧🤝🇺🇸❤️
Everyone understands about everyone’s videos.
Beautiful!
You folks have much more rain coming.
It's catclaw briar Dusty, the “weed”. You can actually see the little “cat claws” on the stem. Also called Nuttall-sensitive briar. It's a legume that's native to the central United States. I did find it on OK State website. (hope this helps)
Keeping you all in our prayers. ~Lisa
Mimosa pudica aka touch-me-not
It looks more like milkthistle
Thank You @lisabooker4605. I live in WV and was curious also. The flowers are pretty. Would you happen to know if it spreads? The plant's shape kinda looks like our crabgrass that sends out 'runners'.
I thought it was red clover seed for pastures. As kids we would pluck the pink spiny petals & suck nectar out. The leaves look idental to the leaves Dusty called clover leaves.
@@barbarahuck3136 Yes it spreads and is hard to get rid of it
Dusty, don’t ever worry about us needing a ‘bison fix’, I think I can speak for all of your followers when I say that helping the residents of Sulphur is far more important at this sad time.
Aww Dusty don’t worry about the videos. We will wait for as long as it takes. What you are doing for the bison and your town is much more important than providing us with videos. We understand and want y’all to stay safe. Thank you for helping out in town. Thank you and Marissa for the video.
Thank God you didn’t lose your home and barn. Thanks for update. My heart goes out to the people in town…your Mom..🙁❤️🙏🏻
I know you, Daniel and Duch have worked hard for Sulphur. It’s been great to see all the RUclipsrs come out to help. God bless y’all!
🙏♥️🙏♥️🙏
So much history gone... so many businesses destroyed... praying for the town's recovery. ❤
I’m so sorry for troubles this storm has caused you.
From SA. Good morning. I see the devastation and pain. I prayed for the families. But this morning while praying the book of Nehemiah come into my mind. He had compassion for his people to rebuild the city of Jerusalem. In his mind he rebuild Jerusalem even before he arrived there. God supplied his every need. So my message to you today is one of hope. God says I His word that He will make everything new. Set your eyes upon Him. He will guide you and teach you to follow Him. And this is exciting news. The old is gone and new seeds have been born. Embrace the new and small beginnings with great expectations of what the Lord can do. Trust in Him. Seek for His guidance and He will give you strength, power, abilities. David said in his distress "I remembered the sanctuary of God." Trust in the Lord, He will supply your every need for the families. Thank you for divine angel's helping in the great and small. The Father loves you.
What a great passage for the situation. It was a real encouragement to all concerned. Thanks for sending this out. God bless you.
Hi Dusty, Marisa, Brooke, and Daniel. God bless you all.
Hi Dusty and Family. Great to see Sulphur community coming together to help everyone. Praying for Sulphur. With God's help Sulphur will survive. God bless and love yall ❤
I wonder if it’s too late to tell them that in American English sulfur is spelled with an “f”?
18:04 Probably too soon to start that, considering that the town has been virtually destroyed. And actually, Oklahoma and Louisiana spell their towns Sulphur. Rethink this one, Dar. @@Darisiabgal7573
But….whoever selects or creates a proper name- can spell it any way a person-elects to spell it.🤗 Then it’s up to everyone else to follow suit! 😉
This spelling is Okie, so...🫡.@@Darisiabgal7573
I am sure that those of us who follow you know that you need to do what you need to do and in the order that you need to do it. So many praying for everyone.
True! Order is important and those involved know that. Need to, gotta do and must do, come before should do, could do, and way before ought-a do, might try to and what if "they" had done!
I'm into genealogy and I have the name Godfrey in my family line on my mother's side of the family. I'm wandering if we could be related. My mother's maiden name was Mable Claire Dobbins. My mother's sisters name was Sybil Dobbins that married a Robert Ned Godfrey
Bless you, your family, and all the people in Sulphur. Unbelievable destruction! I know there are more storms coming. Hope you and all, including the bison are all safe. You are really educating so many people about what tornados do to property and people. The news media should be showing more and more of this. Bless those bison babies!
Praying 🙏 Sulphur
Phoenix is a great name for the calf. I'm sure what you've done to help with the clean-up has been appreciated, in the midst of taking care of the animals and making sure they are safe. I bet everyone is exhausted at the end of each day. I appreciate seeing whatever you have to post and look forward to catching up with what you had planned to post before the tornadoes hit.
Phoenix and all the other red dogs are precious!! Good to see the ranch but seeing what's going on in Sulphur is good too.
You needn't worry about 'regular' videos, you share your lives and this is part of your lives! Thank you for sharing it all! God bless and take care of all those suffering loss & you all helping. 🙏💜🙏
I’m so glad that y’all didn’t lose any bison. Those babies are so stinkin’ cute! Continued prayers for everyone in Sulphur . So glad the community has came together and are helping one another. It’s so devastating going through tornado’s. So sorry for the folks who lost their homes. But, hopefully they still have each other. Yes, sometimes it takes years to rebuild. It’s been 4 years since we had a EF3 tornado. And a lot of homes and businesses still haven’t rebuilt yet. A lot of folks didn’t have insurance to cover their homes. Which was absolutely heartbreaking! It took 2 weeks before we had power. So just maybe it want take that long for everyone there. Because, that even puts more stress on a person. When it is hot and no power to cool your place off. No way to cook to feed your family. No way to keep your food cold and frozen. You just lose in many different ways. So prayers that they get the power back on in a hurry for everyone. And prayers that Red Cross and others are helping to put these families who lost their homes in motels until they can get things figured out. It’s devastating every way you turn. May God bless these folks in every way! Much love…… from South Carolina!
Dusty, can you, Daniel, and Eddy's farms start doing some livestreams fundraisers to raise funds for your town. There are probably a lot of apartment dwellers that are going to need help getting started over, and it is going to take a long time for FEMA and Insurance to come through and help rebuild or even get trailers out there for people to live in. I am not in a place to help, but I know a lot of y'alls followers would love to help you help your communities. Y'all are going to need a lot of help, and it is such a small community that having your large social media platforms would really help raise money to get people through till help gets there, and then help people get back on their feet. They are going to have to live someplace while their homes are being rebuilt. There are no more apartments left.
My heart goes out to those in the country/town apartments affected. I sub in a Technology class in middle school and had a conversation with the students who were discussing building container homes. What an opportunity for them to discussion emergency builds for situations such as this! It makes a lesson come from the tech to reality!
Looks like long dirty work. I pray the Lord Blessed the town and all her people. You will grow back bigger and stronger!! God Bless Sulfer!!
Hey, to you hard workers out there in Sulfur. Must have been a day off for some. Stay safe out there.❤❤❤❤❤. When you finish watch out for scammers.😢😢😢
7 red dogs! I bet you’re feeling better! Yay!
What an awesome community of servants. Love
that you chose Phoenix for Belle Starr's baby.
A very sad story , but true about the city shelter in sulphur Oklahoma, let's hope they get this corrected somehow , I do hope someone is listening, stay safe everyone , thanks all of you for helping , " people helping people" .
When you are in the thick of the mess, it is hard to see this, but I think the hard workers in the Sulphur area are doing a miraculous job in their clean up effort. I am praying that the Lord will bless all those who had losses, and give them more prosperity and peace than they could ever contain. He is a great God and still in full control!
Thats what family does❤
Praying for Sulphur. Bless all who have lost so much. Wonderful to see the help coming together.
You’re so kind to leave your atv there for their use. You’re both giving so much to help plus run your ranch and continue with repairs. ❤️
My husband just said the new baby should be named “Twister”!❤
I know that liking your videos helps you and others but please know that my heart is not at peace with what everyone is having to face now and for however it takes to start rebuilding lives, I watch your family videos and Daniel and his family videos and others who are facing tragedies with flooding of homes , please know I have everyone in my prayers 🙏 ❤
The conveyer belt idea is a great one.
It is very nice for the folks in Sulphur to get all that wonderful help. There are so many lovely, kind people. God Bless you all❤🙏
TEARS and PRAYERS for Sulfur Oklahoma. Dusty, this video may open the eyes of those who have never imagined the true destructive force of a "tornado ". We , who have grown up in the 'mid-west' know it's destructive power, but many will not. SULFUR and it's PEOPLE will recover, but it will never be as it was again ! The statement " What does not kill you, makes you 'stronger' is a truism that grows out of challenges like this ! Thank you for posting this ! Tears may dry and be forgotten ... continuing PRAYERS will be needed. Patience and LOVE will overcome.
My heart and wishes go out to you, your family, and friends in Sulphur. Thoughts and prayers from CT.
hi Dusty I’m glad you and your family survived the tornado and I’m praying that everyone in Sulfur can get back on their feet
Just can’t imagine the time, money, and especially Heart it is going to take to put all of that back together.
Daunting at best 😢 Wishing and praying for you all ❤❤❤.
Don't worry about catching us up. You're doing more important work for the people of Sulphur. Keeping ya'll in our prayers
Praying for all of you Dusty.
I don't know what you call it But it looks like a Sensitive Plant. I am so glad you & your family all are helping your city the way you are helping out.
... agreed its might be a sensitive plant and it will reseed very aggressively... a weed in many states ...the flowers turn into seed pods
I love how invested Marissa is with everything. 🥰
Dusty and Marissa, thank you for sharing and keeping us updated. We know you're running everywhere taking care of others who have seen great loss. We know the Bison are safe and ok. Can't wait to see the catch-up videos. I'm so happy you listened to all of us who suggested Phoenix for the beautiful baby born in the ash of New life.
I was just thinking. Is Jacobi and his family okay?? I saw Jacobi in one of Daniel's videos but i wanted to make sure his family was okay!!??❤️🇨🇦❤️🇨🇦❤️
You might be able to pick up used cable from hoists, cranes & winches for scrap value to build some very durable fences around the creek. Good luck this year!
Hello Dusty, I can sincerely sympathize and relate to the people who have lost all of their personal possessions and property. Please remember that they have only lost things, they still have life. I was 9 years old when our house was burned to the ground, my grandfather survived the fire, but our family dog was lost. I’m truly sorry that this disaster has taken so much, but the grief will pass and things will be replaced and a tighter community will evolve. Prayers and blessings are coming from our family to yours
The devastation is horrible! I've been praying from Wisconsin, about all I can do. You and all the folks helping out are wonderful.
I don't know anyone there but watching this makes me want to cry ,It's horrible 😔😔
Well I gotta say this. It is so inspiring to see everyone come together instead of whining for government handouts! Sulpur is what America WAS. GOD BLESS ALL YOU FOLKS ❤🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🙏
What makes a town is its people, and you are all amazing. I am so sorry that all this happened. Watching everybody come together with time and support to rebuild a town in crisis makes me thankful there are such good people in the world. God bless all of you. ❣️
On the older videos tell us what date it happened to help us keep it straight. Thanks Dusty for keeping us up dated on the tornado and helping your community. Prayers
You are a good and caring person Dusty and Marisa and little Brooks
Your little girl is getting so big. Time for another one! Huh Dusty! ❤❤❤
Mimosa pudica (also called sensitive plant, sleepy plant,[citation needed] action plant, humble plant, touch-me-not, or shameplant)[3][2] is a creeping annual or perennial flowering plant of the pea/legume family Fabaceae.
Am so sorry for you all God bless
Hi Dusty, Marissa and Brooks! So great full you all are able to help with the cleanup and have equipment to offer also ! That’s a blessing alone ! Love Phenix as the babies name … Belle Star sure did well this year and it’s was amazing she had it out in the open for you to catch with the drone .. it was amazing and so heartfelt for all who watched her with her loss last year ! Blessings to you all!!
What a great name for the baby. I love Phoenix. Dusty don’t worry about the videos. I love seeing how every is coming together to help your hometown. Keeping everyone in my prayers.
Thank heavens your family and extended family are ok. ✝️🙏🏻
You should work to get you creek banks planted in native plants! They have super deep roots and would help hold your creek bank and stop the erosion. Plus it would look beautiful with all those amazing plants!
I'm amazed that the electric poles or telephone poles are still standing.
Those are new poles! They put them up in one week
Love all those new red dogs. They’re so cute. All you guys are doing awesome work on the cleanup. All that damage is just unbelievable. Praying for everyone. 👍❤️🙏
Prayers for the town of Sulfur and surrounding areas.🙏 you are a blessing in these times of trouble. Thanks for helping others out! 💕
From the March 31, 2023 ‘tornado zone’ of Little Rock, sending prayers your way.
Dusty, Marisa sure appreciate the updates, you've got your hands full. I will give this country of ours credit, when there's a disaster anywhere "we all" pull together.
There is materials being shipped from my little town to Sulpher next week👍
Prayers for everyone affected by this tornado. Thanks to all of you who are helping your community out. GOD BLESS
The destruction seems to be worse when it happens to someone you know (a totally one-sided relationship…me only). The way the town and wider community have all come together is amazing and such a blessing. Love the name Phoenix❣️
BIG JOE!!❤❤ he's being a good daddy and hanging with his son and baby's mama ❤
Continued prayers for all of you in Sulfur. 🙏🙏🙏
See, aren't you glad those ponds were empty? Never complain, I've found what you have one year, the over extreme can come the next.
There's always coming its opposite. Love to all you folks. 💗
It's times like this when you know that a good township community will come together. I'm from the UK I can't wrap my head around how much insurance you guys must pay, each time a tornado comes it must keep increasing
My grandpa used “natural” erosion prevention techniques. He would dump selected hard trash on creek banks, push it in with tractor. Prevented many a bridge from washing out in the 40s,50s and 60s. Cooke Co Texas
Blessings from Central Queensland, Australia
The plant is what I know as Mimosa pudica - common sensitive plant? Native to America
As for flood crossings/gates, we commonly used cable and recycled sheets of iron to swing... As you explained mesh collects debris before it floats. We never used to peg/tie down the iron. We would just let it hang/swing
It's so hard to watch what happened to your town, so much destruction. Everyone is working so hard to pick up the pieces. What water can do, sure changing the creek banks at your place, saw how high the water got at Daniels and DeJays Farm. Poor baby donkey! Looks like new Red Dogs at CTB. The work is never done, always evolving at your place.
Jus praying for the areas affected all the loss jus devastating all our love it can all be rebuilt hope u ur friends n family all well n accounted for at least!
The plant with the pink flower is called a sensitive plant. it usually closes up when touched or disturbed. Praying for you and all in your community.
Good day to all. The best to 'Your Home Town'! Really like hearing:" That a big cafe" and being a female means, hopefully a bigger Joe!
Wow, those clouds really rolled through there…uh Big Joe.
Momma’s got her tail , stay away from my baby 😂….what all you are doing for your family, friends and all neighbors is much more important
As you say one step forward, take each day at a time. It's so unbelieveable all the damage to your town. Everyone helping is amazing. All the calves are so cute. Phoenix is a perfect name for the new calf. Continued prayers for everyone to help them through all this. As is said "Pray on it, Pray over it, Pray through it. God is listening:
Prayers from Buford GA, outside Atlanta. Following you, Dutch and Daniel daily . Its gonna take a long time to get back to normal but you will get there. So grateful there wasnt much loss of life 🙏🙏
Don't cut away the curves in the creek/river. If you do you will speed up the erosion because of the speed of the water (called scouring). It will cause more flash flooding and be dangerous for your animals and any infrastructure.
You can cause massive erosion gullies and the water table can lower, meaning less access to water, less quality of feed in the grasses, etc.
Blessings from a farmers daughter in South Eastern Australia, Dot
Love watching the bison but sometimes life happens and you have to help those in need. Glad that you took the time to help with the cleanup in Sulphur. Prayers for all. GOD bless y'all.
Thanks so much for all your videos, both of the town and the ranch. Beyond grateful that you are all safe.
The destruction is hard to imagine unless you see it in person. I appreciate your posting the BancFirst donation link.
I also found a link for the Mercy Chefs for the meals being delivered. Such a simple thing, but so important.
Awesome more “ Red Dogs.” You guys are doing amazing considering how your community has suffered.
Pheonix is just the perfect name for Belle Star's red dog. She will be such a wonderful addition to the herd, and I think Belle Star will be a truly wonderful mama to her new baby.
Hi Dusty and family from Pennsylvania. Thank you for sharing your video of your Bison’s and your town that was hit by a tornado. Sending hugs and prayers for everyone coming together to help people affected by the tornado. Stay safe to everyone.🙏❤️🥰
What a wonderful community of people coming together to help all who need it..Dusty, you and Marissa are so inspiring in the way you help your neighbors. God bless you all and prayers for continuing help as you all rebuild.
Thankyou to you and your friends to helping for the clean up. It has been very interesting watching the videos of the tornado’s🌪️. Best wishes Perth Western Australia 🇦🇺
Phoenix is a beautiful name for Bella Starr red dog calf. God Bless to all the folks for all the work to help your community.
It's great to see the cleanup....good job helping ur town....❤❤❤
Thank you very much for all the work you doing God bless you keep you strong for what you have done improve the lot happy people God bless you
I appreciate and support what y'all are doing for Sulfur. Community matters to all of us, and when tragedy strikes one it affects all. Thanks for sharing all that your doing to help them.
It would be worth the investment to purchase a couple Yankum Rope to pull those tree stumps rather than a chain which will snap and break your skid steer window, It will pay for itself during this clean up
It reminds me of the the tornado in Goderich Ontario Canada. I am praying that no one got hurt. I am proud of you all. Thank you Dusty.
Hi Dusty, the destruction and Devastation is terrible. My heart goes out to all the families and business that have lost so much. It’s great to see so many people helping out.
Have you thought of having a fundraising video for Your hometown. Lots of us would like to help
We are not worried about the videos, you guys are helping the victims, I know what it’s like to lose everything because when we had hurricane sandy in New Jersey we lost it all and it is something you don’t wish that on anyone so I am very patient waiting for the videos love you guys
Spell check is terrible. Meant to say Big Joe seems to be throwing big calfs this year.
My heart goes out to everyone who was affected by the tornadoes. Take care.
The plant you are asking about is a kind of sensitive mimosa.
Prayers going out to you, you family ans community as you cleanup after the tornado and flooding rain. Sending you lots of love.
