    Looking forward to this one!
The nano is already out and reviewed to sound better the every wiim product including the ultra and it is the entry level node.
But the wiim fan boys club always come flapping their gums saying their wiim’s are the best streamers out there
    Lmao😂🙄

..supposedly, we’re not yet 100% sure it’s better. The first iterations of the Node were less than stellar soundwise, especially for the steep prices.
The WiiMs are Very good streamers, and they’re for the people, not just the richest audiophiles. WiiM is the reason you get a 300$ Bluesound, don’t forget that. The Nano would’ve cost 650 bucks if WiiM didn’t exist ;) I can bet money on that

@@cristians3298 I agree that the wiim offers good value for what you pay. I also agree that it took Bluesound a while to do an overhaul. However in all honesty even the 130 will sound better then any wiim. I know you’re not going to agree but hear me out.
The nodes are made with much higher quality parts and design implementation that do improve the overall sound quality when compared to any wiim product. That’s why wiim’s are more affordable because it cost them less to make therefore Bluesound isn’t and can’t compete in that price range. You get what you pay for is true, granted as you go higher the percentage drops.
Wiim was very smart and aggressive with marketing and quickly sponsored a lot of RUclips reviewers to rave over their products . This along with their affordable price convinced people that don’t know the whole story .
These quality differences in the node products make them sound better than the wiim. There will be others saying jthat using a separate dac will make the same output quality but it doesn’t because of mentioned above , even using as a digital transport the node will sound better.
I have nothing against wiim products, they fill a big demographic and make streaming very affordable and that’s a good thing. But the quality level isn’t the same. If Bluesound could sell their products cheaper to get that market competition they would but they can’t because they are on a higher level.

It’s not case , bluesound uses much higher quality parts and design implementation in all their products which is why they cost more. Wiim is cheaper because it uses cheaper parts and basic implementation . If Bluesound could sell them cheaper they would but they can’t because of mentioned above.
Wiim was very aggressive with their marketing and quickly sponsored RUclips reviewers to rave about them .
That along with the affordable price convinced people that didn’t know the whole story.
Some people will say using a separate dac will make it as good but it’s not true because of above mentioned. Even as a digital trans port the node will sound better.
You get what you pay for, granted the further up you go the percent becomes less but it’s still true. The nano is affordable because some of the standard node’s connections are absent and some other internal differences ie no onboard power supply. But they still made a good little package with a very decent dac.
I have nothing against wiim they make great value products that fit anyone’s budget but they aren’t at the same level as bluesound just like bluesound isn’t competition for an even higher level streamer.
      Cheers 🍻

@@Audiodreamer192-24 WiiM is trying to open up HiFi equipment for everyone. Are they the best in the world nope, but the fact that someone can get an amp for £299 that will connect to your TV and speakers or fit on a shelf in the office whilst looking decent is why these bigger companies are all of sudden creating streamers that do the same thing and this includes having to make them cheaper. There are not many small systems that will deal with a sub and basic room correction at the price of the WiiM Ultra. For the life of me, I just don't understand why audiophiles simply don't understand this. Not everyone has thousands of pounds, some people just want to play music at a decent quality. And the fact that the Ultra can connect to your TV is a bonus whilst having ease of use software and an easy setup.

they should release an "all digital" version of the ICON!! Why they keep including analog sections on their higher offerings is beyond me... most audiophiles have external DACs and It's a waste to pay for an entire analog section that you will not use. C'mon use your brains guys!!
