So this was it, the final episode of this series. It really has been a long journey: Back in October 2016 I released the teaser for this upcomming series. 1 week later and the first episode was released. I have learned a lot when making this series, this afterall was aside from "The second Chance" my first mapping series that was fully animated, and that also shows. If you'd like, go back to the first episode and compare the animation to this one. You'll notice that a lot has changed. I'm really thankfull that this series finally is over and I can start focusing on different Mapping series again. To give you some information about what the future of my channel has to offer, here are the projects that I will be actively working on very soon: Continuing "The second Chance" (AFOE Season 3) Alternate Future of the World in Countryballs Standstill (A Mapping Collab together with Imperial Mapping) As I already said at the end of this video, thanks for watching this series and I'll hope you'll stay for what the future of this channel will bring to you. Anyways as always, I hope you enjoyed the video I hope you have a fantastic day and goodbye!
Im hopefully the first that is not you to be replied im srry for this that episode was my heavy anticipation although i lost interest in december now i came back and got this and i feel really relieved after bineging lots of gaming
+Baltorusite Mapping Well the reason it took so long was a combination of a series of really unlucky circumstances and the video itselve being probably the most time consuming video I have ever made. I'm glad that you are back though!
thanks but i plan a nonmapping (but still kind of an alternate future scenario) series in february, i just upload heaps in last year for self motivation, mainly me merging old mapping videos into movies and going the outside box
So someone posted the first episode in a Facebook group . I became interested in it and found it …. Now my question is why do you only have 8k subs ?! you definitely earned my sub
Honestly watched this series from the start and found it very enjoyable. It was a unique idea with an intricate storyline that had me grippping my chair at some points! Fantastic work man!
Despite the fact that im a muslim this is so funny 😂😂😂😂😂😂 ( and its also fitting since islam would emerge only 10 years from the ending date . And the muslim conquests started only 30 years after the ending date )
Well, I can only give this series an 4/10, since there is basically no plot or whatsoever. Filming a dead body isn't okay and of course there would be a corpse in the Japanese Suicide Forest. Also, where the fuck is Algeria? Or Italy? You forgot so many nations and invented so many stupid ones like "Sassanids" and "Rome". Where is Germany? The UK? Even Denmark and Poland are missing. Also, please upload Part 1 of your Minecraft Let's Play, please. Good finale
Awwww, that was a good ending, but not the one I was hoping for. What i hoped for is that the coptic christians would reveal the ark of the covenent in the darkest hour, giving the eastern romans sothing to counter that lump of pagen heresy, DEUS VULT
This series has one flaw: The Constantinian Empire? For real? *IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN THE BYZANTINE EMPIRE NOT THE CONSTANTINIAN EMPIRE REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE*
The name Byzantine Empire never really existed in history, it was created by historians to distinguish it from the Roman Empire as they were very different from each other.
In a series I'm about to make, the characters of the series would call them "Rome", because the term "Byzantine Empire" was coined by Early Modern and/or Modern historians.
I really loved this series. You put a lot of work and effort into this. This would be a good movie for a theater that'd I put money into for it. I liked how the characters evolved throughout the episodes. The Eastern Roman Empire and the Sasanian Empire used to be sworn enemies and always hated each other but they evolved and took on dark times together and became great allies. Also love how Syagrius changed from becoming the emperor to restore the old Roman Empire but evolved to become a god! The question still remains in my head. What happened to them Vandals.
I was watching the serie since when you uploaded the first episode . I can say it's the best mapping serie i've ever watched , good job !!! I can't wait to see your future project ;)
your on of the most underrated and best mappers to my opinion. the quality is about as high if not higher then voidviper, your writing is even better then some movies wich take entire teams to write. And you really know how to make countries have a unique character.
Uppon hearing rumours of Syagrius' wrath (like the Eastern Roman Emperor did) they evacuated most of the tribes belonging to them to their settlements outside of Europe.
Great ending, though it seems and went without action/saying that the Empire of Odin (of I'm not wrong) was driven out of Scandinavia and now in Greenland and Iceland, and there's a new tribe/faction in northern Russia, potential for a future series if you ever will continue, and certainly a timely reminder they can be the future threats, and there will always be such.
To be clear, are there any germans or slavs in the Easter Roman Empire, some other unaffected state or in the lands distant enough from Aeternum Imperium Romanum that are still alive or did Sygarius' genocide ability affect the entire world? Also, is Frankish a thing in this timeline or did it never develop as a language? Has the Latin dialects diversified yet like in our timeline too? I am just curious although I know that the last two questions are complicating. By the way, did the leader of the Yaroslavian Khanate die in the Tartaros or is he still around somewhere. Was Zeus part of a very technologically advanced race of aliens?
With this riding into the glorious sunset, who's to say that the Vikings from earlier in the season want some good old vengance, and surely those Karelian tribes might be able to expand a bit going into season 2 if it was properly announced, and whose to say we can cover more ground as the map going on to become a map of historic Eurasia
Damn your mapping is so good! The wars, the conversations and the animations are so good! You have to be one of the best mappers I've ever saw before. Keep on making good series' like this they're really good!
One thing i'm confused by though. What would be religion in this timeline? Considering the emperor of Europe saw Zeus himself, but he then disappeared , and the end talked about humans "making their own destiny". So is everyone Greek Pagen? Or Atheist? Or was the emperor so confused that he just said fuck it and kept Christianity

May I ask the names of the Constantinian Puppet States? I see a Celtic/Britonic one, a Frankish one, a German one, a Slavic one, but I can't understand the last one.
i have so many things to say but so few at the same time this was such a great series every single day for 1 and 1/2 years i wait for a upload to the series and watch it this is so amazing thanks for making this great series!
No. Long live Farhad's Alliance (Constantinian Empire, it's vassals, Sassanid Empire, Phoenician Principalities and it's colonies and Ghassanid Kingdom).
i just remembered this existed and had to revisit it. Your storytelling really is phenomenal and especially the last few episodes are amazing! I hope you continue making great unique content bb
Amazing, but I was wondering... When the stone was destroyed, did that completely erase the gods for good, or did it just leave them unable to reach (or communicate with) Earth?
My favorite mapping serie have finally ended....... So sad I remember seeing the first episode when it came out.... Pls make a series like this one soon
I technically would have the rough story line for a second season, but at the moment I have different projects that I want to finish first before considering actually making it.
Why is the horde of Odin still there are they allied with the constantinian empire and who is the light blue countryball near the modern day Finland area
According the creator, the horde of Odin fled when they heard about Syagrius. They are not allied to the Constantinian Empire, they are just colored like that. And the light blue one is the third Karanthor Kingdom. They were the 2nd Karanthor Kingdom till episode 10, then they ran off to avoid Yaraslov's conquest, cause apparently they were apart of the Thenebrae Khanate before.
They were, back in Episode 3 Arangtos II took them over when he took the Crimean Area, and then secretly formed his Khanate. I'm guessing they escaped somehow and fled to Central Europe, and became the 2nd Kingdom.
Only the emperor knows this, the people of the empire still believe in Christ and to use it as a tool for power he still keeps the religion as a part of his dynasty.
there are just 2 countries that i have questiosn about 1 that russian country that the avars conqured, aren't they the only germans/slavs left in the world or do they know what is happening will they conqure russia, and also why did phonecia just randomly take the viking's land, also the vikings are still looking to expand so what will they do?
A new sires 800 year's later would be nice it could be based on a civil war where multiple people want the throne of the constantinan empire and Persia could be divided with people who want to take advantage of the chaos to take control of constantinan empire and those who want to stay allies and people who support different factions of the civil war this is just a idea and a comment on it would be nice
I mean, yes, it would be entertaining, but it wouldn't really be nice, specially from the point of view of the "actors" in the series. And that comes from me, a fan of the Official Civ V 60+ AI Battle Royale Mk.2.
I really liked this series. The only flaws were the writing and grammar, and even these were generally superb. I also loved the animated borders in wars-it's so much more realistic, and is great for showing stalemates.
So this was it, the final episode of this series.
It really has been a long journey: Back in October 2016 I released the teaser for this upcomming series. 1 week later and the first episode was released. The Rat of Mapping Make a New AHOE
The Rat of Mapping an colab with imperial ?
Is it a more text based one like what if Germany won ww1 or animated like Romes legacy?
That was an amazing finale, rat! Can’t wait for your next series! (If you’re making one)
Japanese Mapping notice me senpai!
Edwin Romero Torrez I knew someone would say that
"Rome's Legacy" "Syagrius' Legacy" Season 2 confirmed xd
So someone posted the first episode in a Facebook group . I became interested in it and found it …. Now my question is why do you only have 8k subs ?! you definitely earned my sub
Honestly watched this series from the start and found it very enjoyable. It was a unique idea with an intricate storyline that had me grippping my chair at some points! Fantastic work man!
Thank you for blessing us with this masterful series, father
Then, they hear a distant "ALLAHU ACKBAR" And it's all downhill from there.....
Despite the fact that im a muslim this is so funny 😂😂😂😂😂😂
( and its also fitting since islam would emerge only 10 years from the ending date . And the muslim conquests started only 30 years after the ending date )

Good finale
I was reading your comment, and I was like this:
(laughs): WTF?!
Proxima You sir are the funniest troll ever
This is HISTORY OF EUROPE bro
Roman times
Edwin Romero Torrez Come on, it was obvious that Proxima was goofing off
Iiked this series since the start,
I really liked how it ended.
please continue doing what you do,
cause you're doing it good.
Awwww, that was a good ending, but not the one I was hoping for. What i hoped for is that the coptic christians would reveal the ark of the covenent in the darkest hour, giving the eastern romans sothing to counter that lump of pagen heresy, DEUS VULT
Based
This series is just fantastic(I can hardly explain how good it was), one of the best series I have followed. 10/10!
The best ahoe I have ever seen I really hope that you will make something similar at the future...keep up the good work
This series has one flaw:
The Constantinian Empire?
Constantinopole used to be called Byzantinum
When it still was a relatively small village/town and no one cared about it yet.
blame eu4/eu3 players for making byzantium the name for east roman empire (i mean it because no-one cares about the name anyway)
In a series I'm about to make, the characters of the series would call them "Rome", because the term "Byzantine Empire" was coined by Early Modern and/or Modern historians.
I really loved this series. You put a lot of work and effort into this. This would be a good movie for a theater that'd I put money into for it. The question still remains in my head. What happened to them Vandals.
Amazing work with this series! I have no doubts when I say that this was the best amoung all map series that I watched!!
This was absolutely amazing! I couldnt ask for a better series!
Good job, i hope your next work will be as good as this
I was watching the serie since when you uploaded the first episode .
I can say it's the best mapping serie i've ever watched , good job !!!
I can't wait to see your future project ;)
I watched every series, and every episode of these series. And yes, I'm pretty much including the Belkrainian Chronicles. I enjoyed all of them.
The Montenegrin Mapper The same with me , i'm totally agreed with you :)
This was really great!
The best end for this fantastic series! For a new bright one, Rat! :D
your on of the most underrated and best mappers to my opinion. the quality is about as high if not higher then voidviper, your writing is even better then some movies wich take entire teams to write. And you really know how to make countries have a unique character.
surprise islamic invasions lol
What happened to the Horde of Odin?
Uppon hearing rumours of Syagrius' wrath (like the Eastern Roman Emperor did) they evacuated most of the tribes belonging to them to their settlements outside of Europe.
You can see them hiding on Iceland at the last part.
I just re-watched the entire series.
I really miss these incredibly amazing mapping series. They were on the level of great novels.
Actually the tribe was created in Ep7 or smth, the 3rd Karathor Kingdom
To be clear, are there any germans or slavs in the Easter Roman Empire, some other unaffected state or in the lands distant enough from Aeternum Imperium Romanum that are still alive or did Sygarius' genocide ability affect the entire world? Also, is Frankish a thing in this timeline or did it never develop as a language? Has the Latin dialects diversified yet like in our timeline too? Was Zeus part of a very technologically advanced race of aliens?
About what you said about Germanics, Slavs and Franks, I would also say about Gauls and Turkics.
I''d really like to see what would happen when (and if) Islam suddenly turned up 22 year after the end...
Damn your mapping is so good! The wars, the conversations and the animations are so good! You have to be one of the best mappers I've ever saw before. Keep on making good series' like this they're really good!
Zeus kind of won. A greek culture now rule's most of europe xD
"The Rat of Mapping"? Nah, more like "The Master of Mapping."
Instant like and subscribe.
Message from dad. I sleep
Rat uploaded a video. REAL S*it!!!
It's fully animated:
ASCENDED
I WAS SO EXITED WHEN I SAW THIS COME OUT!!!!!! LIKED BEFORE WATCHING
I like how Sygarius' Empire has the Chi-Rho (A symbol of Jesus),while it is technically not Christian
Probably atheist.
Oh my God... that was so EPIC!

Long live the new age!
Better than VoidViper.
Fight me.
As it would be said in my native tongue: "Tu su neđe.". Translation to English: "They're there somewhere.", though it carries the meaning of "Their very similar in how good they are in what they're doing. It's hard to decide who's better.". That's my counter argument on the argument in your comment. Peace!
I would say they are both amazing.
+Raemuo Walter Yeah, that's the short version of what I said.
Rumor still has it that Antrois is still rooming around today.
* There are still rumors that Antaros is still roaming around the World today.
Update 2020: He is still roaming the world and is currently in North Korea by the time I wrote this reply.
May I ask the names of the Constantinian Puppet States? I see a Celtic/Britonic one, a Frankish one, a German one, a Slavic one, but I can't understand the last one.

Best Series I have ever seen.
This was the greatest series I've EVER seen... Long Live Constantinan Empire!
No. Long live Farhad's Alliance (Constantinian Empire, it's vassals, Sassanid Empire, Phoenician Principalities and it's colonies and Ghassanid Kingdom).
Correct
Best episode in the series thanks rat for making a great series we all like!
the last video of ahoe. This was so good
i just remembered this existed and had to revisit it. Your storytelling really is phenomenal and especially the last few episodes are amazing! I hope you continue making great unique content bb
I wonder what epithet Maurikos II will have.
Please make a sequel.
We waited 16:17 minutes for just an easy stab?
Yup
Amazing, but I was wondering... When the stone was destroyed, did that completely erase the gods for good, or did it just leave them unable to reach (or communicate with) Earth?
No one knows...
It wont matter when they reach the technology level of alternate future of europe season 2 and 3. (By the rat of mapping)
So what was the purpose of that horde of odin if it never did anything after a couple of episodes
yeah i want to know too
This has to be the greatest alternate history mapping series I have ever seen. You did an absolutely wonderful job on this.
FUCK YEAH!!!🤘🤘👊🤘🤘
My favorite mapping serie have finally ended.......
So sad
I remember seeing the first episode when it came out....
Pls make a series like this one soon
I'm gonna say it... IM GONNA SAY IT!!! Season 2?
I technically would have the rough story line for a second season, but at the moment I have different projects that I want to finish first before considering actually making it.
And by hundreds of generations I mean like 4-5 before the mongols came to town
This was amazing, sad to see you don't upload anymore dude
Syagrius is literally anyone who plays a normal game of eu4 and messes with commands
Meanwhile China: *Chill*
Nonono wait a minute, the people in Scandinavia wasn’t counqered. Why do Phoenicia get it
Why is the horde of Odin still there are they allied with the constantinian empire and who is the light blue countryball near the modern day Finland area
AngelBlue1302 thx for the info :)
They were, back in Episode 3 Arangtos II took them over when he took the Crimean Area, and then secretly formed his Khanate. I'm guessing they escaped somehow and fled to Central Europe, and became the 2nd Kingdom.
When you predicted the final battle : admire me people , I can watch future
Legendary
24:07 Everybody's eyes went up
(Horde of Odin and 3rd Karanthor Kingdom show up behind your back): Are you sure about that?!
600 years later the Mongols came And destroy all the things
Rounds of applauses, everybody
*Rounds of fucking applauses!*
With this you made the best (acient) ahoe and the best Afoe ever
Rome shall live forever!
why would the Constitanian Empire use the symbol for Christ on it's flag if they find he's not real? Other wise really good vid.
Only the emperor knows this, the people of the empire still believe in Christ and to use it as a tool for power he still keeps the religion as a part of his dynasty.
no one believe sin hellenism so christianity is the being its most favored religion
oh ok
Rey Zornosa what?
they still believe in christianity after Syagrius? lel
What happened to the horde?
Ugh,I think not all Slavs were killed if you take a look at east-north or west-north of russia......
You mean Karanthor? We don't even know of they're Slavic or Turkic!
Man.
If your living in Russia you only got a few lines for just one episode then your just a background decoration.
Could you tell who the Constantinian vassals are supposed to be? I can't figure out all of their flags.
there are just 2 countries that i have questiosn about
1 that russian country that the avars conqured, aren't they the only germans/slavs left in the world or do they know what is happening will they conqure russia, and also why did phonecia just randomly take the viking's land, also the vikings are still looking to expand so what will they do?
Greatest mapper of all time by far
A new sires 800 year's later would be nice it could be based on a civil war where multiple people want the throne of the constantinan empire and Persia
could be divided with people who want to take advantage of the chaos to take control of constantinan empire and those who want to stay allies and people who support different factions of the civil war this is just a idea and a comment on it would be nice
I beg to differ.
I mean, yes, it would be entertaining, but it wouldn't really be nice, specially from the point of view of the "actors" in the series. And that comes from me, a fan of the Official Civ V 60+ AI Battle Royale Mk.2.
We need a 2nd season. Two months,m8
I loved this series
Wow good work for making this awesom series i realy enjoyed this keep up the good work
LONG LIVE THE GREATER ROMAN EMPIRE!!!!!
All I can say is, HOLY CRAP THAT WAS AWESOME! Great work Rat, looking forward to the next series, you are one of the best mappers out there!
Hey Rat of Mapping and Mappers, do you know where I can find the free medieval music for the video I'm making?
I really liked this series. The only flaws were the writing and grammar, and even these were generally superb. I also loved the animated borders in wars-it's so much more realistic, and is great for showing stalemates.
Best end ever
