Lucky Dog Animal Rescue Saves 62 Animals From Puerto Rico In Partnership With SouthWest Airlines

On January 20th, Lucky Dog shipped 14,400 pounds of supplies to our shelter partners on a donated 747 to help the people and animals impacted by Hurricane Maria as part of a longstanding commitment to the people and animals of Puerto Rico.
Lucky Dog Animal Rescue is a volunteer powered animal rescue that saves homeless and abandoned dogs and cats from certain euthanasia. With no boarding facility or shelter of their own, Lucky Dog holds events across D.C., Maryland and Virginia. Lucky Dog seeks not only to place dogs in loving homes, but also to educate dog owners about responsible pet ownership.
