I'm not sure if this is the case, but I could imagine that some women perceive disrespect as threatening because of a potential physical power balance in many situations. Many men, on the other hand, might not feel powerless because of a physical disadvantage, but because of the fact that they know that they cannot use the physical level to defend themselves in a civilized society. Hence, both rely on a) having the ability to establish once boundaries verbally or through body language and b) depending on others to understand these signals and c) respect them once understood. I would imagine that all these aspect feature heavily in dealing with and educating sociopaths.
I wanted to point out one more thing! You should've included a part when "Why you so serious" was said because that's literally almost what girls get every time they disapprove of a "compliment" thrown at them by a male.

I thoroughly enjoyed this and agree whole heartedly. Sadly this is the exact way some women are treated. Not all men act like this, but the ones who do give them all a bad name because the ones who don't, usually don't make themselves known enough to make a difference in the grand scheme of things. They keep quiet, or they just don't go out often because they're working or doing something to better their lives and don't have time to go to places where people are treated like this. There are cases in all work environments, not just strip clubs, ect. Sexism is a real issue, and most females face it every single day. There's not a day that goes by that i don't make sure i have my mace, small blade, and a flashlight on me at all times because stuff happens all the time, and most women are not prepared for it. But don't get me wrong, guys can go through similar deals, it's not just women that get raped. But let it be known that as far as what the media, world, and culture teach us, we are sexual objects not allowed or capable of intelligence. We've made a lot of progress, but we have a LONG way to go before we're all treated equal.

Any type of minority has to deal with this type of bullshit at their workplace. In fact, my teacher at fashion school once told me that he as a straight male designer also experienced constant harassment from the rest of the employees at his previous workplace, who were as a majority gay and male. So yeah, as long as you are in the minority, prepare yourself for some shit going down.

I like this video. It has two main underlying messages. That not only women get unwanted attention from men but males get it too from females, but additionally showing the affects of harassing and annoying someone day by day into a matter 3 minutes. Someones gender does not define how much respect they should get. Everyone in this world deserve to be treated with consideration and care. WolfyzP0W so for instance my friend is in corrections as a stepping stone for policing. If she reports the sexual harassment by STAFF (not the convicts, they're actually pretty respectful). It's the staff that say inappropriate things and she wears extra baggy pants as requested by her superiors. If she made a complaint it could affect her ability to get in for her policing. This is just one example. Maybe it's specific to certain industries/workplaces.
In my experience they only get a swift warning. But so do you. And then you get to be the asshole of the company, the fokus of all butthurt jokes and get even more harassed than before.

But I get your point and I thing that is also the point of this video. This was a pretty excessive "all in one" package, in reality sexism at the workplase mostly comes in smaller doses. Which makes it harder to point out or report, sadly.
Im a straight guy and this has happened to me, although not this extreme.
A MarkUponCain It's not only about being a woman or a man, it's about being a minority in the workplace. It's just that men are the majority... the majority of the time. Any type of minority has to deal with this type of bullshit at their workplace.
In fact, my teacher at fashion school once told me that he as a straight male designer also experienced constant harassment from the rest of the employees at his previous workplace, who were as a majority gay and male. So yeah, as long as you are in the minority, prepare yourself for some shit going down.

This doesn't actually reflect the real world. This skit is to show that no, we don't appreciate your piggish comments, and it's making us uncomfortable. You're not taking our jobs, hobbies, etc seriously just because of what is in our pants.
How about you place yourselves in our shoes? Doesn't matter if you're horny af, it makes decent human beings uncomfortable. Whether it's in this form or not, nobody, man, woman or non-ninary, wants to be sexually harrassed and downgraded.
The reason why it wouldn't be taken seriously by men as said in your comment is because they usually do the harrassing, and again, won't take a woman seriously. Obviously there are exceptions, but I think I passed my point across fairly well. Hope I helped, and sorry for the long message. (:

I'm sure there are many cases of young men being harassed by older women at work for example. In any case sexually harassment of women at work is usually taken seriously especially in an office environment.

I like this video. It has two main underlying messages. That not only women get unwanted attention from men but males get it too from females, but additionally showing the affects of harassing and annoying someone day by day into a matter 3 minutes. Someones gender does not define how much respect they should get. Everyone in this world deserve to be treated with consideration and care. Sometimes we forget this and slip up, but if you remember and apologise for your actions, you may find you will succeed with greater achievements then you did by being self-absorbed.

WolfyzP0W so for instance my friend is in corrections as a stepping stone for policing. If she reports the sexual harassment by STAFF (not the convicts, they're actually pretty respectful). It's the staff that say inappropriate things and she wears extra baggy pants as requested by her superiors. If she made a complaint it could affect her ability to get in for her policing. This is just one example. Maybe it's specific to certain industries/workplaces.
In my experience they only get a swift warning.
But so do you. And then you get to be the asshole of the company, the fokus of all butthurt jokes and get even more harassed than before.
It's funny how men are the only people saying that men aren't actually like this, whereas girls are all laughing their asses off because this shit happens all too often. Just because YOU don't act like this, doesn't mean it never happens.
