Finally a great demo of the sidechain! Did you feed it from a microphone on a kick or was the TRS cable attached to the output of a digital drum machine?
The clearest compressor pedal available maybe? The only one I've seen with LED meters - that's a HUGE plus for me so I can be very sure what is happening when I adjust the setting, plus a sidechain!?!? I honestly think this unit rivals rack unit compressors.
transparent ??? between "on" and "off" YES. Between no pedal and pedal plugged (but off) I ear a difference (on my rectifier and its the same on my mark III). Its normal ? what can I do ?
I guess when you place an EQ pedal inbetween you can solve that potential problem and make it respond only to the frequencies of the kick, but a kick mic placed at the bass drum mostly picks up kick anyway.
How fast? Still plucks on cleans bro. Pluck , and the reason why many pros can't stand stompbox compressors. Emphasized pluck is simply awful. Still waiting the day when a proper compressor stompbox will be released.

When the sidechain kick came in I thought powerman 5000 was on
how would the pedal sound on a real kick including the kit? would noises (snare, tom, hat) bleed in to the sidechain mic?
